Abstract

Rekayasa teknologi dalam industri berkembang ikuti kebutuhan pasar, seiring peningkatan dan efisiensi dalam proses produksi pada industri, maka diperlukan suatu inovasi dan pengembangan sistem. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuat sistem berdasarkan image processing yang memilah objek produksi pada konveyor sekaligus menghitung jumlah objek yang menggunakan modul kamera pixy2 sebagai sensor utama untuk proses pemilahan dan penghitungan , menaruh barang pada wadah sesuai warna barang tersebut yang dihubungkan dengan sistem board mikrokontroler ATmega328P. Metode yang digunakan pada pemilah yaitu dengan mengambil nilai RGB threshold yang didapatkan dari kamera, dengan sistem pencahayaan yang telah dikondisikan, sehingga tidak tergantung dengan pencahayaan di luar sistem, RBG threshold yang diset parameternya sesuai dengan warna objek yang sedang dipilah, kemudian data tersebut disimpan sesuai kelompok warna yang digunakan di sini dipilih tiga warna dasar objek produksi yang dominan yaitu hitam, putih, dan  kuning, pada konveyor dan data tersebut digunakan untuk menghitung, serta menempatkannya pada container atau wadah sesuai dari tiga warna produk dengan bantuan motor servo sebagai pemilah objek produksi berdasarkan warna dominan tersebut. Saat objek dimasukkan ke dalam container, dilakukan proses hitung pada konveyor yang ditampilkan pada masing-masing wadah menggunakan tiga buah LED seven segment. Hasil percobaan yang dilakukan, total sebanyak 30 kali pengujian, yang terdiri atas masing-masing 10 kali pengujian tiap warnanya. Dengan waktu respons pengujian rata-rata pada 1,9 detik, dari 30 percobaan tersebut 28 kali berhasil mendeteksi warna objek dilanjutkan dengan proses pemilahan objek produksi dan menempatkannya sesuai container warna objek, serta menghitungnya. Sistem 2 kali tidak berhasil mendeteksi karena ada kerusakan mekanik konveyor. Dari pengujian sistem ini, dinyatakan berhasil sebesar 93,3%. Hal ini masih dapat diterima dan dinyatakan berhasil.

Abstract

A container crane is a crane used for loading and unloading containers at the port, one of which can function to lift containers from and to cargo ships. This crane propulsion system uses a mechanical system that is controlled by an electrical device that is cooled by an air conditioner. Therefore, a room temperature monitoring system is needed and the recording of cooling running hours is still done manually by officers, so it is still less efficient and effective. For this reason, researchers conducted research to be able to monitor and control the cooling system on an electric room container crane using the Internet of Things. The purpose of this study is to make it easier for officers to monitor the temperature of the container crane room so that the cooling air conditioner can work efficiently. The method on this prototype device has manual mode and automatic mode. In manual mode, the AC cooler will turn on and off depending on the switches in the application. In automatic mode, the cooling air conditioner will turn on and off depending on the given set point temperature. This tool also records the total running hour of the cooling air conditioner, so that officers can monitor how long the cooling air conditioner has been operating. In the main part of the hardware required embedded ESP32 for data connection and a real-time clock for scheduling tool operations. Tests, several times, found an average delay of about 3 seconds displayed on the application. Where the speed of data transmission is very dependent on internet speed so if the data connection is interrupted, it results in delays in data transmission. Overall, the device can work well according to its function.

Abstract

Penelitian ini, mengacu pada penelitian sebelumnya sebagai refrensi dan pengembangan dari ide yang penulis tuangkan dalam penulisan proposal. Penelitian Pertama “Desain Irigasi Otomatis Pada Tanaman Bawang Merah (Allium Ascalanicum L)”. Pada Penelitian ini sang penulis hanya mengontrol kadar kelembaban tanah untuk tanaman bawang merah dengan menggunakan sensor soil moisture sensor yang menggunakan pengolahan dengan ADC mikrokontroler AT Mega 16 dan dengan penambahan kadar air melalui kontrol pompa air . Penelitian Kedua “Sistem Kontrol dan Monitoring Kelembaban Dan Ph Pada Tanaman Cabai Rawit (Capsicum Frutescens) Berbasis IOT (Internet Of Things)”. Pada Penilitian ini sang penulis mengganti obyek tanaman yang di teliti dari yang sebelumnya menggunakan tanaman bawang merah menjadi tanaman cabai rawit. Menggunakan sensor soil moisture dan sensor pH untuk mendeteksi kadar kelembaban dan pH tanah lalu data tersebut diolah arduino uno sebagai pengendali kontrolnya dan ESP 32. Pada Penelitian ini penulis mencoba mencoba membuat Sistem Kontrol dan Monitoring Kelembaban Dan Ph Pada Tanaman Cabai Rawit bisa termonitoring secara jarak jauh menggunakan aplikasi android.

Abstract

The transmission system plays an important role in maintaining the continuity of the distribution of electrical energy from one region to another. Disturbances in transmission lines are caused by short circuits, overloads, lightning surges, natural disturbances and others. For this reason, a protection system is needed that is reliable and can identify disturbances quickly while protecting the disturbed part of the system from other parts that can still operate normally. However, the protection system can experience operational failure due to various factors, therefore, apart from the main protection, backup protection is needed which can work when the main protection fails to work. Distance relays can be used as primary protection as well as remote backup protection on high voltage overhead lines. Meanwhile, the overcurrent relay is used as local backup protection if the distance relay fails to work. In this paper, a protection system is designed for the Buduran Main Substation channel using a combination of distance relays as main protection and overcurrent relays as backup protection using simulation method the Digsilent Power Factory. The overcurrent relay will trip at 0.5 and 0.15 seconds. From the Load Flow results, the value is obtained = 3,615 kA, = 4,67 kA and The range impedance according to the conductor cable data at the Buduran region 0,9676, Zone1 1 0,79Ω; 80%, Zone2 1,19Ω; 120% dan Zone3 as 1,48Ω is 150%. Thus the research can be declared successful in carrying out overcurrent protection

Abstract

Based on data from Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Sector, the number of traffic accidents throughout 2020 was 7,565. With a factor of 1,018 drowsy drivers or 13% of the total incidents. A solution is needed for that. The aim of this research is to calculate the average value of the duration of detection time and the number of flashes per minute, by knowing when the driver is drowsy or not drowsy. The method used is Eye Aspect Ratio (EAR), where the driver will be detected whether he is sleepy or not, by analyzing the parameters of the number of blinks per minute and the duration of the blinks. If the eyes are open (EAR value) less than 0.45 and more than or equal to 3 seconds in one blink, it is categorized as sleepy. Tests were carried out on lighting, namely: morning, afternoon, evening and night light. Test results in daylight and evening light conditions with a light intensity value of 78 lux mean the duration of drowsiness detection is 3.26 seconds and the difference in time duration with the reference theory is 0.26 seconds. Meanwhile, for night light with a light intensity value of 15 lux, the average duration of drowsiness detection is 4.04 seconds and the difference in time duration with the reference theory is 1.04 seconds. Meanwhile, the number of blinks per minute when you are sleepy is 5-8 blinks/minute and when you are not sleepy it is 13-17 blinks/minute, for morning, afternoon, evening and night light conditions. It can be concluded that overall, this system can work well for day and evening and night light conditions.

Abstract

In this era, there are many scientific technologies that make human work easier, including for developing businesses in the plantation, agriculture, livestock, and fisheries industries. However, Indonesia's natural resources have not been fully utilized due to several factors, such as a lack of human resources and inadequate technology. Much of the energy in this world has not been used optimally, such as the energy produced from sunlight that shines for about 12 hours a day. This sort of device is often called a solar panel or photovoltaic panel. It is a technological device to convert solar energy into electrical energy. Solar panels contain many solar cells made of semiconductor materials, such as silicon. They work based on photovoltaic effects, in which solar cells absorb sunlight and produce a flow of electrons to yield an electric current. Solar panels have become a popular and environmentally friendly source of renewable energy because they generate electricity without carbon emissions or air pollution. The use of solar panels has grown rapidly in recent years, including providing a voltage source for fish feeders to support the fishing business so that the costs incurred to care for fish are cheaper compared to manual feeding. The results of this project indicated that this fish-feeding system could feed 100 koi seeds twice a day, in the morning and evening at 8:00 WIB and 16:30 WIB. This tool was also equipped with a microcontroller, so that each time the feed opened for about 30 seconds, the pellet grain came out at approximately 100 grams. So, people can provide enough feed of 200 grams per day for 100 koi fish aged 2 months.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh Perusahaan negara  supply air bersih saat ini salah satunya pengecekan pemakaian air disetiap pelanggan setiap bulannya masih manual yaitu mengirimkan petugas ke rumah-rumah pelanggan, sehingga membutuhkan banyak petugas dan kurang efektif dan efisien, selain itu model dan jenis meteran air yang digunakan Perusahaan negara  supply air bersih masih bersifat analog sehingga data pemakaian air sulit diketahui oleh pelanggan jika terjadi kerusakan sehingga dapat menyebabkan kerugian diantara kedua belah pihak karena data yang terbaca tidak akurat. Selanjutnya yaitu mengenai tagihan air yang tidak wajar, kebocoran pipa dan pencurian air, sehingga bisa merugikan pendapatan Perusahaan negara  supply air bersih. Maka dirancanglah sebuah prototipe yaitu Rancang Bangun Sistem Monitoring Pemakaian dan Pelaporan Volume Air Bersih Layak Minum Dengan Internet Cloud Database dan User Interface Visual, dengan alat ini pelanggan dan Perusahaan negara  supply air bersih dapat mengetahui flowrate, volume, dan biaya tagihan pemakaian air tiap bulannya dengan mengirimkan dan menyimpan data jumlah pemakaian air ke kantor Perusahaan negara  supply air bersih secara realtime pada database MySQL yang kemudian ditampilkan pada web hosting dan dikoneksikan dengan visual studio untuk menampilkan data tersebut, dengan menggunakan web hosting online yang berbayar (hostinger) sehingga dapat diakses secara maksimal oleh pelanggan dan PDAM. Pada sistem ini menggunakan modul ESP32 yang memiliki kelebihan merupakan penerus dari module ESP8266 dan terdapat inti CPU serta Wi-Fi yang lebih cepat, GPIO yang lebih, mendukung Bluetooth 4.2 dan konsumsi daya yang rendah. System ini menggunakan 1 client user dan 1 server

Abstract

The increasing security concerns and urban lifestyle distractions have led to negligence in home security. Consequently, innovative security systems are necessary to automatically assist homeowners in securing their homes. This research addresses this issue by proposing the implementation of an automatic door lock security system through the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocol on the NodeMCU ESP32. It aims to integrate existing home security systems with the Internet of Things platform using the Telegram Bot API, focusing particularly on access control for entering and exiting the house. By employing the Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) measurement method, this research determined the ideal distance for automatic door locking by the security system. After collecting the data using one device, the researcher tested them nine times at distances ranging from 0 to 2 meters. The results indicated that the system had a detection limit at a distance of 1 meter with a signal strength value of -85 dBm. Additionally, the power consumption of the security device was measured at 1.645 mA, and the average delay time for data transmission from transmitter to receiver reached approximately 2.22 ms. In conclusion, the prototype security system in this research was successfully designed and operated according to its objectives

Abstract

ABSTRAK Kawasan Tanggulangin, Sidoarjo merupakan area yang banyak ditempati oleh Industri rumah tangga atau bisa disebut UMKM, salah satu UMKM dikawasan tersebut adalah mitra olahan bawang goreng “machmudah”. Yang mana memiliki kendala terkait merk dan branding sebagai identitas untuk meningkatkan pamasaran hasil produknya, dengan adanya Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan terhadap lemahnya identitas visual dan rendahnya daya tarik produk di pasar. Dengan merancang Desain Logo dan merk baru yang merepresentasikan ciri khas Mitra yang dapat diaplikasikan di berbagai media. Menggunakan metode Design Thinkingsebagai pendekatan dalam proses perancangan yang berfokus pada kebutuhan dan pengalaman pengguna. Metode Design Thinking diterapkan melalui lima tahapan, yaitu Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, dan Test. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terciptanya merk baru atau logo baru dan identitas visual baru yang lebih menarik, konsisten, dan relevan dengan target pasar yang dapat diaplikasikan di berbagai media seperti Stempel, Nota, Plakat papan nama, stiker, dan baliho banner. Penerapan branding baru diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran merek (brand awareness) dan daya saing produk di pasar. Kata Kunci: Design Thingking, Identitas Visual, Logo, Media Pemasaran  ABSTRACT The Tanggulangin area in Sidoarjo is densely populated by home industries, also known as MSMEs. One of the MSMEs in this area is a fried onion processing partner called “Machmudah.” This company faces challenges related to brand identity and branding as key elements to enhance the marketing of its products. The Community Service Program aims to provide guidance to address the weaknesses in visual identity and the low market appeal of the products. By designing a new logo and brand that represent the unique characteristics of the partner, which can be applied across various media. Using the Design Thinking method as an approach in the design process, focusing on user needs and experiences. The Design Thinking method is applied through five stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. The outcome of this research is the creation of a new brand or logo and a new visual identity that is more appealing, consistent, and relevant to the target market, which can be applied across various media such as stamps, receipts, nameplates, stickers, and billboard banners. The implementation of the new branding is expected to enhance brand awareness and product competitiveness in the market. Keywords: Design Thinking, Visual Identity, Logo Design and Marketing Media.

Abstract

The eggs of purebred chickens always become the major choice for satisfying people’s needs for nutrients. The way to process them is easy, and the prices are relatively cheap for all people. Since the eggs of purebred chickens are in high demand, a device that can detect their qualities more correctly and accurately is needed, compared to the conventional method. Objective: An automatic egg quality detector was developed through a camera module of pixy cmucam5 by employing ROI and template RGB methods. The implementation of the ROI method could optimize the system performance, thereby accelerating the process of egg quality detection carried out by the preprocessor of the pixy camera. ROI analyzed the egg image only on the desired pixel area, not the whole pixel. As a result, the ROI method yielded a device and system that could detect the egg quality within the average speed of detection time -/+ 2ms per egg out of 4 trial categories. Meanwhile, the template RGB method was able to improve and ease the ability of the pixy camera module in detecting the egg quality. When the RGB index of the egg was < 234, then the egg was of good quality. Contrarily, when the RGB index of the egg was > 234, the egg quality was in a bad category. The contribution of this paper is to develop a low-cost automatic egg sorting and detection system with the advantages of flexibility in device placement, due to the use of camera modules and object detection accuracy, as well as better response time than using color sensors. Accordingly, the template RGB method produced a device and system which could detect egg quality with average accuracy of 90 % and average error of 10% out of 4 trial categories. And, the results of the trials upon the detector system indicated success in detecting the egg quality.
