Abstract

Technology has become increasingly important in education, including in Indonesia. The implementation of technology in education is expected to improve the quality of education and help reduce the gap in education access across regions. However, several factors have hindered the implementation of technology in education in Indonesia, such as limited infrastructure, inadequate training and development for teachers and lecturers, and digital divides between regions. Despite these challenges, the use of technology in education has several benefits, including improving the quality of learning and motivation of students and increasing the efficiency of administrative tasks for teachers and lecturers. To improve the implementation of technology in education in Indonesia, efforts are needed to develop supporting infrastructure, provide training and development for educators, and establish clear policies and regulations. Collaboration between the government, educational institutions, and the private sector is also necessary. This article discusses the role of technology in education in Indonesia and the factors that influence its implementation, drawing on various studies and research.

Abstract

Mathematics education is a very important education. Early childhood is a golden age, namely the age of 0-6 years in Indonesia and abroad, namely at the age of 0-8 years. According to Jean Piaget, this has been the main reference for the kindergarten curriculum and even education in general. The first step is to design a fun number learning media with the latest literature. The design is tested by experts and validated according to the needs of students. The result of the author's initial observation in the field is that Amira kindergarten students aged 4-5 years do not globally understand the lack of development in the cognitive aspect of knowing numbers and symbolic thinking for effective results. %. Based on the discussion above, it can be concluded that playing while learning using cards recognizes cool numbers in improving six aspects of development in children aged 4-5 years at Amira Plered Purwakarta Kindergarten.

Abstract

Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a mental disorder related to seasonal changes that occur during winter due to lack of exposure to sunlight. Light therapy has become a focus in treating depressive symptoms in sufferers of Seasonal Affective Disorder. However, more in-depth research is still needed to clarify the effect of light therapy in reducing symptoms of depression in sufferers of Seasonal Affective Disorder. This study aims to explore the effect of light therapy on reducing depressive symptoms in sufferers of Seasonal Affective Disorder and to provide scientific evidence that can support the use of light therapy as an effective treatment method. This research method uses a randomized controlled clinical study design involving adult participants who have been diagnosed with Seasonal Affective Disorder. Participants were divided into two groups, one group received light therapy for a certain period of time, while the control group received usual treatment. Depressive symptoms were evaluated before, during, and after the intervention using proven rating scales. The results showed that participants who received light therapy experienced a significant reduction in depressive symptoms compared to the control group. Light therapy has consistently been shown to improve mood and energy and reduce symptoms of depression in people with Seasonal Affective Disorder. The conclusion of this study shows that light therapy has a positive influence in reducing symptoms of depression in sufferers of Seasonal Affective Disorder. The use of light therapy as a non-pharmacological intervention can be an effective and relatively safe therapeutic option to reduce the impact of Seasonal Affective Disorder on an individual's well-being. Abstract

Anti-smoking campaigns have been an integral part of smoking prevention efforts among youth, especially in secondary school settings. However, the effectiveness of such campaigns is still debatable due to several factors, including the influence of the social environment, cigarette promotion, and personal factors that influence smoking behavior among youth. This study aims to evaluate the effect of anti-smoking campaigns on smoking behavior among youth, focusing on a population of students in secondary schools. Through a case study approach, this research aims to provide a deeper understanding of the effectiveness of anti-smoking campaigns in changing smoking behavior among youth. The research method used in this study is a case study of several secondary schools that implemented anti-smoking campaigns. Data were collected through surveys, interviews, and direct observation of students' smoking behavior before and after the implementation of the anti-smoking campaign. The results showed that the anti-smoking campaign had a significant influence on smoking behavior among youth. There was a significant decrease in the number of students smoking after the implementation of the anti-smoking campaign, as well as increased awareness of the negative effects of smoking. The conclusion of this study confirms that anti-smoking campaigns are effective in changing smoking behavior among youth. Targeted and sustained implementation of anti-smoking campaigns can be an effective strategy in reducing smoking prevalence among secondary school students. Thus, continuous efforts are needed to improve and expand the reach of anti-smoking campaigns in school settings.
