Abstract

The economic life of the people on the coast, especially fishermen, is very dependent on the natural resources that are around, for example, marine resources, which still get the top position in the survival of fishing communities which are widely used and are also included as renewable natural resources. One example used as material for this research is the fishing community in East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. The Fishermen's Community can be interpreted as a group of people whose main livelihood is fishermen. The characteristics of the life of this community are different from society in general. Natural factors influence their lives a lot, from their lifestyle to the level of their economy and welfare, which is different from other communities. The purpose of this study is to predict the level of welfare of fishing communities in East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara by using the classification method and the Random Forest algorithm. The dataset used is private data, the data is taken from fishing applications. Data processing is done to get the result or performance of the algorithm as the best result in predicting. From the existing dataset we use five supporting variables including, Education, family members, wells (related to clean water), employment and housing. The results or targets of this data processing are the level of welfare of fishing communities with prosperous and non-prosperous statuses. The final results of this study are seen using the Confusion Matrix, where the end result is the accuracy value. Random Forest has the highest accuracy value with a value of 93.37% and an AUC value of 0.735%.

Abstract

Student achievement is very important and meaningful in the world of education, this picture can be seen from the grouping of classrooms, determining talents and interests as well as the level of ability and willingness of students according to the abilities of each individual. This is why researchers conducted research at MIS NW 03 Pancor with data from class 4 as many as 23 students, class 5 as many as 27 students, and class 6 as many as 25 students which were related to variables in student learning achievement. In determining this matter, the school still uses conventional decision-making methods, so it is still difficult to determine student achievement according to their abilities. Thus, schools need to make changes that can help employees and institutions improve education quality by knowing student learning achievements. As for this problem, the author provides a solution that requires a calculation system with the concept of data mining. Mastery of learning material is one of the benchmarks for obtaining student grades and this is one of the policies in determining student achievement. Apart from grades, there are also attitudes and skills which are factors in determining student achievement at school. This can be solved with one of the techniques in data mining that can be used for grouping, namely clustering. The results of this research are a system that can make it easier for schools to quickly and accurately group student achievement using k-means which is optimized using the elbow method with the results obtained, namely cluster 1 "good" with 9 students, cluster 2 "very good" with 6 students, cluster 3 is "fairly good" as many as 8 students and the Davies Bouldin value is 0.711 and the AVG within centroid distance is 18.821 so it can help the school in determining student achievement groups

Abstract

The water area in Indonesia is wider than the land area, therefore Indonesia is known as a maritime country. Indonesia also has many natural resources that come from the ocean, for example fish. Coastal communities use fish as their livelihood, where most of them become fishermen. Fishing is a daily job to meet the family's economic needs. The Fishermen's Community can be called a group of people who mostly work as fishermen. This group of people is different from people who live in lowland and highland areas, they have different characteristics, natural factors have changed their lifestyle and also their economy. It is because of the uniqueness of their lifestyle that makes the author interested in conducting research. This research uses existing data to obtain new information from that data. Researchers will predict the level of welfare of fishing communities in East Lombok using the Naive Bayes algorithm. To support the results of the decisions that will be evaluated, researchers use five variables, namely: Education, family members, wells, employment and housing. From these five variables, researchers hope to get good final results that can be used to predict the level of welfare of the fishing community in East Lombok. Evaluation is carried out using the Naive Bayes algorithm, this algorithm was chosen because it suits the characteristics of the data we have. Naive Bayes is a simple algorithm. The final results of this research were 99% for accuracy value, 81% for precision value and 100% for recall

Abstract

Innovation in technical education plays a crucial role in preparing students to face the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, especially with the growing demand for skilled workers in automation technology. This article explores the implementation of robotics training at SMK As-Shofwah NWDI Renco as an innovative approach to technical education. The training employed a project-based learning (PBL) method, involving 18 students from grades X, XI, and XII, with 28% of participants from grade X, 33% from grade XI, and 39% from grade XII. Results revealed that the training significantly enhanced students' technical skills in basic robotics, microcontroller usage, sensors, actuators, and robot programming. Additionally, it fostered improvements in learning motivation, critical thinking, and teamwork. Despite its successes, the program faced challenges, including limited resources and the need for further teacher training. This robotics training serves as a strategic step in preparing vocational school students to compete in a technology-driven workforce

Abstract

A clean and confortable environment can create quality human resources. Environmental cleanliness is ansituation and condition that has a good place and is not polluted by dirt and is beautiful to look at. One of the causes of major social conflict in a country is the waste problem. Because the waste problem never ends along with the development of the population in the area. For example in Gelora village, Sikur sub-district, East Lombok, in this area assistance is being provided for making automatic waste bins which will be implemented at the Gelora Village office. In the current technological era, this is very possible to happen, but it can be used as a lesson to create an innovation that can help alleviate existing problems. Together with the authorities, the community and the Hamzanwadi University Village Development KKN Internship team, we provided assitance in making automatic trash bins with an Internet of Things system. Several components used include Arduino Uno, Servo, and Ultrasonic sensor. This assistance aims to increase and encourage public and staff awareness in the Gelora Village office environment regarding environmental cleanliness by utilizing technology. So it can produce a comfortable, clean and healthy environment

Abstract

His study aims to evaluate the impact of robotics training on the technical and analytical skills of students at SMK NWDI Renco. The background of this research is based on the importance of developing technical and analytical skills in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, where technology and automation have become integral parts of various industrial sectors. Vocational education at the high school level plays a strategic role in preparing a competent and adaptive workforce to meet technological advancements.The research method used is a mixed-method approach, combining both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. An experimental design was implemented with pre-test and post-test evaluations to measure changes in students' technical and analytical skills before and after the robotics training. Quantitative data were collected through specially developed technical and analytical skill tests, while qualitative data were gathered through in-depth interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with students and teachers involved in the training. The robotics training program was conducted over eight weeks, covering topics such as the fundamentals of robotics, programming, and practical applications through small-scale projects. Participants were purposively sampled and consisted of 30 eleventh-grade students from SMK NWDI Renco. A pre-test was conducted prior to the training to assess the students' baseline skills. During the training, direct observations were made to document students’ progress, and activities were documented. A post-test was conducted after the training to evaluate changes in technical and analytical skills. The results of the study showed a significant improvement in students’ understanding and skills. The average pre-test score was 63.2, while the average post-test score increased to 84.5. Specifically, the improvements included a 41.7% increase in the understanding of robotics concepts, a 35.4% improvement in microcontroller utilization, and a 24.6% improvement in sensor and actuator applications.

Abstract

Setiap rumah penduduk yang bertempat tinggal khususnya di kawaasan perumahan memiliki tandon air ssebagai tempat utama penyimpanan air sebagaimana kondisi yang ada juga pada perumahan yang berada di lokasi perumahan selagik selatan di wilayah di Kec.terara. Permasalahan yang ada pada tandon air di perumhan kurangnya pengontrolan diantaranya kondisi mesin pompa, kelistrikan, pipa saluran rusak atau lepas jika dibiarkan akan menyebabkan air tebuang secara percuma, selain itu juga tidak bisa monitoring kerusakn pada komponen peralatan mesin, pipa penyaluran air dan kondisi tandon air perlu sistem yang otamatis radar pintar berbasis arduino menggunakan model ESP8266 merupakan sebuah microcontroler yang bisa untuk menintragsikan pengontrolan ketinggian air di tandon, sensor kerusakan mesin, kelisktrikan, perpipaan, pendeteksian kerusakan kelebiahan sisem ini dapt di kontrol berbsis Internet of Things atau IoT. Abstract

PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Pringgabaya is one of the units established by PT PLN to be able to provide direct services to the community in areas with smaller coverage. However, the use of electricity by the community has increased the demand for the installation of new meters. This study aims to analyze the causes of delays in the installation of new meters. In order to classify the highest causes of installation delays, the Decision Tree method is used. The number of data sets used is 700 data with attributes, such as the distance of the location to the PLN network (Meter), electric voltage (Volt), customer contact, SLO (Certificate of Operational Worthiness), Installation and Installation Status. From the calculation results, the acquisition includes Distance <= 37 M from the PLN network, voltage >= 220 Volts, inactive contacts, old SLOs issued, and uninstalled installations. Testing was carried out 10 times using cross validation with 100% accuracy results with an AUC value of 1.00, which means that the use of the decision tree algorithm can be utilized in determining the classification of the causes of delays in the installation of new meters at PT PLN ULP (Customer Service Unit) Pringgabaya. So it can be concluded that the cause of the delay in the installation of new meters at PT PLN ULP (Customer Service Unit) Pringgabaya is not caused by service criteria but is influenced by distance, voltage, and new customer contacts.

Abstract

Virtual laboratories offer a great way to overcome the limitations of physical laboratories and make learning more interactive and meaningful in the modern era. Moreover, some schools have limitations in physical laboratories. On the other hand, teacher skills in managing and using virtual laboratories are still very minimal. Some teachers even do not know about virtual simulations such as PhET or livewire. The purpose of this community service activity is to improve the ability of prospective teacher students to utilize science learning technology through training using virtual laboratories created by PhET (Physics Education Technology). This PkM activity was carried out on prospective teacher students at Hamzanwadi University. The number of participants was 40 people and was carried out for 4 days. There are 3 core stages of PkM activities, namely the preparation stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. The results of the activity showed that participants better understood the functions and benefits of virtual laboratories. They are also better able to create inventive and technology-based science learning plans. Participants also felt satisfied and very satisfied with the training activities
