Abstract

Keberhasilan suatu organisasi pendidikan atau universitas dalam mencapai tujuannya erat kaitannya dengan kualitas  pembelajaran daringyang sedang dilaksanakan. Tujuan untukkeberhasilan  tersebut dapat   dicapai  dengan cara memuaskan para akademisi yang masih  aktif. Studi  kasus menggunakan Forum media social dan komentar YouTube sebagai pengolahan  data  untuk  memprediksi kepuasan  pembelajaran  online di  Universitas  Terbuka. Pendekatan text mining adalah alternatif yang baik untuk menafsirkan makna komentar yang dibuat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis prediksi kepuasan layanan dari beberapa kategori. Salah satu tolok   ukurnya   yang dilakukan adalah moderasi komentar  Forum  dan  YouTube.  Metode   penelitian  yang  digunakan   adalah   empat algoritma klasifikasi machine learning dan dua algoritma Deep Learning yaitu Naive Bayes, Support Vector Machine, K-Nearest Neighbors, Decision Trees, dan Logistic Regresi, pembelajaran mendalam (Deep Learning) untuk akurasi prediksi. Total kumpulan data awal mencakup 801 data yang dikumpulkan dari 1 Oktober 2023 hingga 31 Oktober 2023. Pembersihan dan pra-pemrosesan selanjutnya menghasilkan total 249 data. Kemudian dievaluasi akurasinya dengan menerapkan algoritma klasifikasi pohon keputusan, akurasi tertinggi pada pengelolaan  data komentar Forum dan Youtube dengan nilai  akurasi tertinggi 92,0 % dengan menerapkan algoritma Decision Tree.

Abstract

Background: Students who study and work face many daily challenges such as time constraints, work and study pressures, and busy schedules that can cause stress and interfere with individual mental health. Resilience is a factor that plays an important role so that individuals can survive in overcoming problems and adapting to stressful situations. Objective: This study examines whether there is an influence of character strength on resilience in working students. Method: This type of research is quantitative with simple regression analysis that measures the magnitude of the influence between the dependent variable and the independent variable. Total respondents were 149 working students in Yogyakarta Province. Results: Character strength variables can be used as predictors of academic resilience variables. The R square value of 0.163 indicates that 16.3% of the Character strength variable can predict the level of academic resilience in the subject. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between Character strength and resilience in working students. The relationship between the two variables is positive, which means that if the Character strength in students is positive, the resilience is high, otherwise if the student's Character strength is negative, the resilience is low.

Abstract

Objective – The purpose of this research is to conduct an analysis of the interrelationships by testing hypotheses regarding the positive and significant impact of extrinsic motivation factors, affective commitment, and job satisfaction on the performance of employees at SMK PGRI 109 Tangerang, especially in the COVID-19 pandemic situation. Methodology/approach – The method used in this research is a quantitative causal approach. A total of 78 individual employees participated as respondents in this study, and the sample was drawn from the entire population. Data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SmartPLS 3.2.9 software. Findings – The results of this research indicate that there is a strong and significant relationship between extrinsic motivation, affective commitment, job satisfaction, and employee performance at SMK PGRI 109 Tangerang. These findings are proven to be applicable both partially and comprehensively across all tested paths. Therefore, the hypotheses regarding the positive and significant influence of these three factors on employee performance can be accepted. Novelty/value – The findings provide deeper insights into the factors influencing employee performance, namely extrinsic motivation, affective commitment, and job satisfaction. With a better understanding of this relationship, management has the opportunity to design strategies aimed at enhancing employee performance through increasing extrinsic motivation, affective commitment, and job satisfaction. Moreover, this research also contributes novel insights to the literature on the relationships among the mentioned factors.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have a significant contribution to national economic growth, but still face various obstacles in business management, especially in the aspect of business communication. Good communication skills are very necessary to build strong relationships with customers, increase competitiveness, and expand marketing networks. Business communication is the activity of conveying and receiving information in the business environment carried out by business actors with various parties related to their business activities. Ability in business communication is an important aspect that plays a role in the success of a business because it can be applied at every stage of business operations, from production to marketing. Problems that MSMEs often face in business communication with customers include lack of response to questions and complaints, low readiness in handling criticism, limitations in building good relationships with customers, and lack of efforts to maintain consumer loyalty. These obstacles reflect weak direct interaction with customers, which in the end can affect the perception and sustainability of the business. The lack of skills and understanding related to business communication among MSMEs in Meruya Selatan Subdistrict can become an obstacle in the development of their business, especially if it is not supported by appropriate and effective communication strategies. Therefore, this activity aims to increase the competency of MSME players, both in terms of understanding and skills in business communication, in order to support the development and sustainability of their businesses in the digital era.

Abstract

PT. Sinar Asia Perkasa (e-Print) merupakan perusahaan manufacture yang bergerak di bidang tinta printer, kertas foto, toner dan ribbon. Perusahaan ini telah berdiri sejak tahun 2000. Gaya kepemimpinan Manajer Marketing E-print dalam melakukan komunikasi baik kepada staf maupun kepada customer. Interaksi simbolik adalah suatu aktivitas yang merupakan ciri khas manusia yakni komunikasi atau pertukaran simbol yang diberi makna. Semua interaksi antar individu manusia melibatkan suatu pertukaran simbol. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana Gaya kepemimpinan Manajer Marketing E-print pada internal (staf marketing) dan eksternal (customer). Paradigma yang digunakan adalah Post Positivisme dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif analisis. Hasil penelitian ini Manajer Marketing e-print gaya komunikasi “the controlling style” dan “The equalitarian style”. Kesimpulan penelitian bahwa Gaya komunikasi Manajer Marketing e-print ialah gaya komunikasi “the controlling style”. Manajer Marketing e-print menekankan komunikasi satu arah (one way communivation) yang menimbulkan kesan mengendalikan, serta mempersuasi orang lain. Namun di lain kesempatan menggunakan komunikasi “The equalitarian style”.

Abstract

This research addresses the decline of public trust in philanthropic institutions in Indonesia after the misuse of donation funds in 2022. The case affected the Yayasan Badan Wakaf Al-Qur’an, which faced a decrease in donation revenue in 2023. The organization conducted an internal evaluation, and the researcher examined employee performance through competence, compensation, and job stress. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of competence and compensation on employee performance with job stress as a mediating variable. The researcher conducted this study in 2024 on 150 employees of Yayasan Badan Wakaf Al-Qur’an. The sample consisted of 110 employees who were selected using the Slovin formula. The researcher applied a quantitative method with a causal associative approach. The researcher collected primary data through online questionnaires and analyzed the data using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) in SmartPLS4. The findings show that competence significantly improves employee performance and reduces job stress. Compensation does not influence job stress and does not influence employee performance. Job stress significantly decreases employee performance. Competence indirectly improves employee performance through job stress, but compensation does not show any indirect effect. These results highlight the importance of strengthening competence to improve employee performance in nonprofit organizations.

Abstract

This study aims to assess and segment graduate student satisfaction in the Master of Management Program at UMB, focusing on academic services and teaching quality, using a data-driven approach through K-Means clustering and Decision Tree classification. The K-Means method successfully identified three distinct satisfaction clusters: Very Satisfied, Satisfied, and Dissatisfied. From an HRD perspective, this segmentation provides strategic insights into how students perceive institutional service delivery—spanning administrative processes, supporting infrastructure, and interaction quality across service units. These insights reflect the internal customer experience, which is critical in managing human capital performance within higher education institutions. The clustering results were further examined using a Decision Tree to identify key attributes driving satisfaction levels. Factors such as clarity in professional certification procedures (K55), responsiveness of certification services (K56), and management service quality (K78) emerged as dominant predictors of satisfaction in the service domain. In the teaching domain, lecturer empathy (K03) and responsiveness (K01) were shown to significantly influence student engagement and academic trust—two core components in HRD models for faculty performance. These findings suggest the need for targeted capacity-building programs, soft skill enhancement, and infrastructure development. By integrating student feedback into ongoing HR practices and quality assurance mechanisms, institutions can foster a more human-centered, responsive, and effective educational environment.

Abstract

Bertambahnya jumlah perusahaan financial technology (fintech) yang terdaftar di Otoritas Jasa Keuangan mengartikan bahwa industri ini semakin dilirik karena  dibutuhkan dalam sistem perekonomian di Indonesia. Namun perkembangan Fintech P2PL telah menimbulkan beberapa risiko. Pertama, ada risiko gagal bayar, karena tidak ada jaminan atau persyaratan kontak fisik. Kedua, ada risiko yang terkait dengan keamanan data (risiko cyber), tata kelola, dan privasi pelanggan dan juga karena kerentanan sistem dan penyalahgunaan data, baik sengaja atau tidak sengaja. Ulasan yang terdapat pada kolom komentar Google Play dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber data yang dapat di oleh dengan data mining. Penelitian ini akan menganalisis mengenai permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan beberapa ulasan tentang  Fintech P2PL  apikasi Koinworks pada ulasan di Google Play Store serta menentukan hasil akurasi analisis sentimen yang dihasilkan algoritma Decision Tree, K-Nearest Neigbor dan Support Vector Machine. Adapun manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membantu manajemen aplikasi Koinworks mengenai opini positif atau negatif dari pengguna aplikasi serta dapat  memberikan bukti  secara  empiris  untuk  teori  yang  berkaitan sehingga  dapat  dijadikan  sumbangan  pemikiran untuk pengembangan teori berikutnya. Algoritma SVM dengan Cross Validation + Parameter Optimization menghasilkan Accuracy 91,03% precision tertinggi yaitu dengan 96,73%% , recall 85,34% dan AUC  tertinggi yaitu 0,986 yang termasuk dalam excellent classification. AbstractThe increasing number of financial technology (fintech) companies registered with the Financial Services Authority means that this industry is increasingly being looked at because it is needed in the economic system in Indonesia. However, the development of Fintech P2PL has created several risks. First, there is a risk of default, because there are no guarantees or physical contact requirements. Second, there are risks associated with data security (cyber risk), governance, and customer privacy and also because of system vulnerabilities and data abuse, whether intentionally or unintentionally. Reviews contained in the Google Play comments column can be used as a data source that can be shared with data mining. This research will analyze the problems related to some reviews about the Fintech P2PL Koinworks application on reviews on the Google Play Store and determine the results of the accuracy of sentiment analysis produced by the Decision Tree algorithm, K-Nearest Neigbor and Support Vector Machine. The benefits of this research are to help the management of Koinworks applications regarding positive or negative opinions of application users and can provide empirical evidence for related theories so that they can be contributed to the development of subsequent theories. SVM algorithm with Cross Validation + Parameter Optimization produces Accuracy 91.03% of the highest precision with 96.73 %%, 85.34% recall and the highest AUC of 0.986 which is included in excellent classification.

Abstract

Soft skills are skills related to personality and individual characteristics that are difficult to measure quantitatively. Communication is one of the skills that is very important in the work environment. These skills contribute to creating an open and friendly atmosphere and ensure that the resulting performance is clearer and more focused. Students' inability to build productive communication can hinder the smoothness of the internship process at the practice location. Conflicts between colleagues and human resources can create disharmony in company operations. The Student Creativity Program (PKM) aims to provide training. By obtaining soft skills training in the form of productive communication skills, students are expected to be able to: (1) focus on solutions, not problems; (2) get used to using positive and motivational sentences; (3) focus on the goals to be achieved; and (4) be visionary, with an orientation towards the future rather than the past. The method applied is online training for students participating in the MSIB program. The training implementation consists of three stages: material delivery, training, roleplay, and assessment. The result of this training is more organized material, which ensures students gain in-depth understanding and skills in effective communication. The participants' responses to this coaching and training showed that 100% felt that the training provided motivation and was fun to learn, especially prospective internship students because this training was very effective online.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the effect of authentic leadership and work engagement on employee performance using the intervention variable PT Tritama Jaya Wisata. The research method used was quantitative, using saturated samples taken from 45 respondents from all company employees. Analysis was carried out using structural equation models and Partial Least Squares (PLS) software. The research results show that leadership and work involvement have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with an indirect influence on the competency variable.
