Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Social Media Utilization and Business Capital on the Performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This study uses a quantitative approach with primary data collected from 230 MSME respondents through questionnaires. The results of the validity and reliability tests indicate that the research instruments used are valid and reliable. Multiple linear regression analysis shows that the Business Capital variable has a positive and significant effect on MSME Performance, while Social Media Utilization does not have a significant effect. The results of the partial test (T-Test) show that Social Media Utilization (Sig. value 0.605) has no significant effect, while Business Capital (Sig. value 0.000) individually has a significant effect on MSME Performance. Simultaneously (F-Test), both variables have a significant effect with a Sig. value of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.421 indicates that 42.1% of the variation in MSME performance can be explained by the use of social media and business capital, while the remaining 57.9% is explained by other factors outside this research model. Keywords:Utilization of Social Media, Business Capital, MSME Performance

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Digitization and Human Resource Competence on the Financial Performance of Pondok Permai Restaurant. This study uses quantitative methods with multiple linear regression analysis. The sample consisted of 60 employees randomly selected based on certain criteria. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The results showed that Digitization and HR Competence had a positive and significant effect on the Financial Performance of Pondok Permai Restaurant, both partially and simultaneously. These findings underscore the importance of digital transformation and human resource capacity building in driving the financial performance of Pondok Permai Restaurant in the digital era. The results of the hypothesis test in this study showed that the effect of digitization (the role of financial technology) on the financial performance of MSMEs (X1 → Y) showed significant results with a t-value of 4,089 > t-table 2,007. In addition, the relationship between HR competence and MSME financial performance (X2 → Y) was also proven to be significant, with t-value 7,358, and t-table 2,007. And the results of the analysis also prove that there is an indirect effect of digitization on financial performance through HR competence (X1 → X2 → Y), with an F-value of 329.463 > F-table 3.16. Overall, the results of this study strengthen the argument that the application of digital technology and the strengthening of human resources capacity is not only a trend, but a strategic need in optimizing the performance of MSMEs in the era of digital transformation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of accounting information systems and the utilization of information technology, both simultaneously and partially, on the operational performance of mobile coffee shop MSMEs in Medan. This research employs a quantitative approach using primary data collected through questionnaires distributed to 65 respondents who are mobile coffee shop MSME actors in Medan, selected using purposive sampling. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression with the model: Operational performance = 2.041 + 0.493 Accounting Information Systems + 0.807 Utilization of Information Technology + e. The results show that partially, accounting information systems have a positive and significant effect on operational performance, as indicated by a significance value of < 0.05 and a t-value greater than the t-table, and the utilization of information technology also has a positive and significant effect on operational performance with a significance value of < 0.05 and a t-value greater than the t-table. Simultaneously, both variables have a significant effect on operational performance, as evidenced by an F-value of 1617.899 with a significance level of < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.981 indicates that 98.1% of the variation in operational performance can be explained by these variables, while the remaining 1.9% is influenced by other factors outside the research model.
