Abstract

Healthy lifestyle is a lifestyle with attention to factors - certain factors that affect health, such as diet and exercise. The purpose of this research is to identify how the efforts of patients hypertension to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Methods this research uses descriptive design. The population in this research were all patients with hypertension in Poly UPTD Kesehatan Kecamatan Sukorejo Blitar total of 220 people, the number of samples in this study were 33 respondents and using purposive sampling technique. Data collection is done by giving questionnaires. Time of data collection was conducted on 20 June 2013 to 02 July 2013. The results showed that for 57.6% (19 respondents) had a good effort, 39.4% (13 respondents) had enough attempts, and 3% (1 respondent) had less effort. Recommendations from this study are expected to continue to provide health services well and provide health education to the public about healthy lifestyle that should be done for patients with hypertension

Abstract

Chronic renal failure (CRF) is a public health problem in the world and is now recognized as common diseases with risk of hemodialysis therapy. Hemodialysis can have an impact to the patient quality of life. The aim of the research was to describe the patient quality of life with renal failure underg hemodialysis at Mardi Waluyo Blitar hospital. The research used a descriptive research design. The population was all patients with renal failure which registered in Hemodialysis of Mardi Waluyo Blitar hospital on October-December 2014 as many as 84 patients. The sample was 34 patients selected by accidental sampling. The data collection was conducted on March 30th – April 4th, 2015. The data collecting used questionnaires of The World Health Organization Quality of Life (QoL WHO) which described physical health, psychological, social relationships, and environment. In general the quality life of renal failure patient underrgo hemodialysis in bad category was 55.9% (19 patients). This condition was due to a chronic disease and its complications potentially stressors including renal failure patient. Stressors that arise caused by environmental conditions, psychological state, and physical health. The study recommended that health services were expected to provide comfortability, improve maintenance functions, improve interpersonal relationships, and counseling.

Abstract

Shelter is an action that uses binding or isolation. In the city of Blitar the number of ODGJ as many as 447 people, while in the village of Kepanjen Kidul there are 117 people with mental disorders, 3 of which carried pemasungan. Good knowledge will make the deprivation of shelter action. The purpose of the study illustrates the family knowledge about the release of ODGJ stalks in the working area of UPTD Pukesmas Kepanjen Kidul Kota Blitar. This research method using descriptive design. The population in this study is the family who has severe mental disorder as many as 117 people and the sample size is 30 people with purposive sampling technique. Data collection was done by using questionnaire. The data were collected on January 28 - March 31, 2017. The research results showed that family knowledge was less than 76.7%. Recommendations for UPTD Pukesmas Kepanjenkidul and cadres as sources of information and expected mental cadres and health workers to provide KIE to ODGJ families about the liberation of the pavement to reduce and prevention of shelter action.

Abstract

Personal hygiene is a necessity of every person including people with mental disorder. People who are able to fulfill his needs during lives at home is family. The main personal hygiene that needs to be fulfilled is the hygiene of the body and the welfare of the physical and psychological. Research purposes was to know the family effort to fulfilling for personal hygiene of people with mental disorder. The research design used descriptive. The research population were families who have’s members with mental disorder who are registered at public health center of Kepanjen Kidul of Blitar City. Samples size were 30 families selected by purposive sampling. Time of data collected on the Mei 31st until July 30th, 2017. The result showed that the family effort was as good as 24 families (80.0%), enough as much as 5 families (16.7%), and less as much as 1 family (3.3%). Personal hygiene of person with mental disorder needs that are the needs of dress and toilet. Recommended to maintained of family efforts to fulfill of his personal hygiene need using health education by health provider.

Abstract

DOTS strategy is a short-term treatment guide with direct supervision by supervisor taking medicine for tuberculosis patients. Supervisors should know, understand, and be able to distinguish between mild and severe side effects of anti-tuberculosis drugs. The failure of Tb treatment depends on supervisor taking medicine. Currently, never been known the perception of supervisor taking medicine about tuberculosis medication side effect. The purpose of the study to know the perception of the supervisor taking medicine about side effects for clients Tb treatment program in Blitar City. The research design used a descriptive. These result studies show the perception supervisor taking medicine about the side effects as much as 54.5% is the right category and as much as 45.5% is the wrong category. The right category perception may be the supervisor taking medicine ever receive information of tuberculosis medication side effect at the public health center while take a drug. Recommendations for health workers are providing appropriate information to the supervisor taking medicine can be improved with technique counseling and training so that improve knowledge and expertise in the management of medication side effects.
