Abstract

Abstract: The problem which occur in Indonesia is strongly related with level of society morality and education field particularly in elementary school is one of contributor of this problem, started from robbing, bullying, sexual harassment, even violence act which cause the death.  This matter is tendency of moral decadence which occur in Indonesian youth.  There are ten indication of moral decadences tendency in students which is deserved to get attention and action from various people in order the change happen toward the better.   To overcome that problem, character education is one way or means to improve student’s moral particularly in elementary school.  Constitution or Ministry Regulation and President Instruction also discuss about character education which is should be taught and modeled. In implementing character education, guidance or principle is needed in order that character education can work effective. In addition, the method and model which are used in teaching character education need to be noticed.Keywords: Character Education, Moral Decadence Abstrak: Problematika yang terjadi di Indonesia sangat berhubungan erat dengan tingkat moralitas masyarakat, dunia pendidikan khususnya di sekolah dasar merupakan salah satu penyumbang dari problematika tersebut, mulai dari pencurian, bullying, pencabulan, bahkan sampai tindak kekerasan yang mengakibatkan kematian. Hal tersebut merupakan gejala dari dekadensi moral yang terjadi pada generasi muda Indonesia. Ada sepuluh indikasi gejala dekadensi moral pada peserta didik yang perlu mendapatkan perhatian serta tindakan dari berbagai pihak agar terjadi perubahan ke arah yang lebih baik. Guna menanggulangi permasalahan tersebut pendidikan karakter merupakan salah satu cara atau sarana untuk memperbaiki moral siswa khususnya di sekolah dasar. Adapun dalam Undang-undang dan Peraturan Menteri serta Instruksi Presiden (Inpres) juga membahas mengenai pendidikan karakter yang harus di ajarkan dan diteladankan. Dalam melaksanakan pendidikan karakter diperlukan suatu petunjuk atau prinsip agar pendidikan karakter dapat berjalan efektif. Selain itu perlu juga memperhatikan metode serta model yang digunakan dalam mengajarkan pendidikan karakter.Kata kunci: Pendidikan Karakter, Dekadensi Moral

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability of students to think critically. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the Controversial Issues (CI) learning model in improving students' critical thinking skills. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method. The study design used Nonequivalent [Pre-Test and Post-Test] Control Groups Design (NCGD). The research samples were fourth grade students of SDN 4 Metro Timur, SDN 5 Metro Timur, SDN 8 Metro Timur, and SDN 10 Metro Timur, 60 students were used as the experimental class and 60 students were used as the control class. Data collection tools in the form of sheets about students' critical thinking skills. Data collection techniques in the form of tests, namely pretest to measure the initial ability of students' critical thinking skills and posttest to see the final ability. Based on the results of the study concluded that the effectiveness of the use of the Controversial Issues learning model affects the critical thinking skills of class IV elementary school students, so that students' critical thinking skills in the experimental class are much better when compared to the control class that has conventional learning. Abstract

The influence of Implementation of Methods of Problem BasedLearning to Improve Understanding Basic Concepts of Social Sains andCritical Thinking Skills Students. The aim of this study is to find out theinfluence of problem based learning (PBL) method in enhancing student’scomprehension of Social Science basic concept and student’s critical thinking ability. This study used quantitative approach with experimental quasi method. The design of study using Nonequivalent Control Groups Design (NCGD). Based on the study result, conclusions are obtained that there is difference in understanding of Social Science basic concept and critical thinking ability between students who taught by using PBL method inexperiment class with students who taught by conventional learning in control class. Thus, students in experiment class understand more about Social Science basic concept from each social science. In addition, the children thought more critical by PBL method, because with PBL requires students more confidence to the results of the facts of the concrete learning of public opinion.Pengaruh Penerapan Metode Problem Based Learning dalamMeningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Dasar IPS dan Kemampuan BerpikirKritis Siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen. Desain penelitian menggunakan Nonequivalent Control Groups Design (NCGD). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pemahaman konsep dasar IPS dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa antara siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran menggunakan metode PBL pada kelas eksperimen dengan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional pada kelas kontrol. Sehingga siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih memahami tentang konsep dasar IPS dari masing-masing ilmu sosial. Selain itu, anakanak berpikir lebih kritis dengan metode PBL, karena dengan PBL menuntut siswa lebih percaya kepada hasil fakta-fakta pembelajaran yang konkret dari pada opini public.

Abstract

Moral development in children is the process of children learning about moral and ethical values, therefore the influence of parents' attention on children will affect their moral development. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parental attention on the moral development of early childhood. The type of research conducted at Kindergarten Rejo Asri in this study was qualitative with a case study approach. As for data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and document analysis. And to test the validity using source and technique triangulation. Based on the results of research conducted at Perintis Rejo Asri Kindergarten, it can be concluded that children who experience a lack of parental attention result in children's moral development. Children who get enough attention will have a big impact on the character and moral values that children have in the future. Therefore parents are the main caregivers and role models for their children, and they also need to pay adequate attention to the moral development of their children by providing good values, providing proper supervision, and modeling good behavior consistently.

Abstract

Asesmen merupakan kegiatan yang tidak terpisahkan dalam sebuah proses pembelajaran. Asesmen dan pembelajaran merupakan satu-kesatuan yang tidak bisa dipisahkan dalam kegiatan proses pembelajaran di kelas. Asesmen perlu dilakukan di dalam kegiatan pembelajaran untuk mengetahui keberhasilan dari kegiatan yang telah dirancang oleh pendidik Tujuan pembuatan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui konsep dan teori asesmen di Lembaga Pendidikan anak usia dini pada kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Asesmen pada kurikulum Merdeka memiliki 2 jenis yaitu asesmen formatif dan asesmen sumatif. Asesmen formatif dilaksanakan pada awal kegiatan dan pada saat proses pembelajaran. Asesmen formatif bertujuan untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran bukan untuk menilai perkembangan anak anak. Asesmen sumatif dilakukan pada akhir kegiatan pembelajaran, asesmen ini dilakukan pada akhir kegiatan. Pada fase Pondasi asesmen formatif dapat dilakukan satu sampai dua minggu. Acuan pelaksanaan asesmen pada fase pondasi adalah mengacu pada indikator ketercapaian pembelajaran yang telah ditentukan oleh pendidik. Asesmen pada fase pondasi dilakukan menggunakan beberapa Teknik diantaranya adalah Teknik Observasi, Kinerja, dan Portofolio. Pelaksanaan penilaian dilakukan secara autentik, yaitu penilaian yang dilakukan keadaan yang sebenarnya

Abstract

The development of domino card media at the Pembina Metro East Kindergarten was carried out because several students were not able to say the numbers 1-10 in sequence. This problem is seen when children shout out numbers together, but have difficulty when asked to name the numbers one by one. Apart from that, some children also have low numeracy skills. Teachers usually start by writing numbers without introducing symbols. This research aims to produce domino card-based learning media, testing its feasibility and effectiveness in improving the numeracy skills of young children. Using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model, this research went through the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The validation results show that the domino card media is very feasible. Validation by media and material experts provided a high percentage, while trials with teachers and students also produced positive results. Thus, it can be concluded that this domino card media is effective in helping develop the numeracy skills of young children.

Abstract

Moral development in early childhood is something that can uphold human values that are comprehensive so that they develop in society in accordance with the principles of justice, equality and mutual acceptance in their environment. Poor moral development can be caused by watching YouTube shows, such as politeness, discipline, responsibility, and honesty. The research method used in writing this scientific work is descriptive qualitative method. By using data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. YouTube shows have an impact on children's moral development, namely Negative Impact: children like to Prank / lie, lack of discipline, lack of politeness towards teachers, lack of responsibility in doing assignments. Positive impact: children want to forgive each other, help each other, behave honestly, and maintain personal hygiene.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media panggung boneka tangan dalam meningkatkan kreativitas anak usia dini di TK Dharma Wanita 1 Bumi Jaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 15 anak berusia 5-6 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kreativitas anak setelah menggunakan media panggung boneka tangan. Indikator rasa ingin tahu mencapai 46,6%, kemampuan bertanya 60%, daya imajinasi 73,3%, dan orisinalitas 80%. Sub-indikator yang diukur meliputi ketertarikan pada hal baru, antusiasme terhadap informasi dan benda baru, frekuensi dan relevansi pertanyaan, imajinasi dalam pembuatan boneka dan bercerita, serta orisinalitas dalam mengungkapkan gagasan. Pengembangan media panggung boneka tangan terbukti efektif dalam merangsang berbagai aspek kreativitas anak usia dini melalui kegiatan yang menyenangkan dan melibatkan anak secara aktif.

Abstract

Guru merupakan bagian penting dari pendidikan atau bisa juga disebut sebagai pusat pendidikan. Masalah kesehatan yang terjadi antara lain kemunduran dan kelemahan pada usia lanjut yaitu perubahan fisik, kognitif, mental dan psikologis. Salah satu perubahan kognitif yang terjadi adalah daya ingat dan perubahan daya ingat, faktor usia sangat mempengaruhi daya ingat seseorang, namun pada usia tersebut seseorang dapat terus produktif dan mempertahankan kemampuan yang ada dengan terus merangsang otak. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengaruh usia produktif guru terhadap semangat belajar anak ditinjau dari latar belakang pendidikan di TK Perintis Rejo Asri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh usia produktif guru terhadap semangat belajar anak. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, angket. Teknik validitas dan reliabilitas, deskripsi data, uji prasyarat yaitu uji normalitas, uji linieritas, model regresi sederhana, koefisien determinasi (R2), dan uji statistik t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan tes ini terdapat pengaruh usia produktif guru terhadap semangat belajar anak. Kata Kunci: Usia Produktif, Semangat Belajar

Abstract

This study aimed to improve students' learning outcomes of Social Studies by using Direct Instruction Learning Model. The Classroom Action Research was performed by engaging students of V A Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah 1 Banjarsari. Data collection technique were carried out using test and non-test techniques. The study revealed that the students' score increased from 78.17 up to 85.43. Furthermore, the use of Direct Instruction Learning Model simplified teachers for handling the learning process.
