Abstract

This research was motivated by the challenges of parents in taking care of their children when facing the coronavirus pandemic happening globally. This makes conditions change in various sectors. The implementation of “Work from Home” and “School from Home” is a government policy to break the chain of the coronavirus. The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between parenting self-efficacy and parenting stress on parents to support early children playing at home. The research design was quantitative simple correlation. The population in this research were parents having young children in Bandar Lampung City. The sample of this research was selected by simple random sampling technique. The results showed that there was a significant negative relationship between parenting self-efficacy and parenting stress on parents in accompanying early childhood playing at home. So, if the parenting self-efficacy of parents is high, it can reduce the parenting stress when accompanying children to play at home. Based on these findings, this study suggests (1) further research should be done on a larger subject, (2) further research can compare between parents inservice and preservice training parenting, (3) Researchers can look for other factors as stressors for parents in parenting early childhood at home.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dalammpembelajaran menggunakan sumber belajar dongeng sains. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas rendah (kelas 2) di salah satu sekolah negeri di Kabupaten Pringsewu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah action research atau penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu; 1) perencanaan; 2) pelaksanaan; 3) pengamatan; dan 4) refleksi. Alat pengumpul data pada penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi penilaian kinerja guru dan lembar observasi penilaian keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis datamkualitatif dan analisis data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan menggunakan dongeng sains dalam kegiatan belajar dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihar dari meningkatnya nilai rata-rata keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada Siklus I sebesar 65 dengan kategori “cukup” (C) meningkat pada Siklus II sebesar 79, 5 dengan kategori “baik” (B+). Kata kunci: Dongeng sains, keterampilan, dan berpikir kritis.

Abstract

This research aimed to develop a picture-story book based on scientific approach through the discovery learning method to improve students’ creative thinking and collaborative skill. This research was a research and development which adopted a model proposed by Borg Gall which step including (1) research and information collecting, (2) planning, (3) developing preliminary product, (4) prelimi-nary field testing, (5) main product revision, (6) main field testing, (7) operational product revision, (8) operational field testing, (9) final product revision, and (10) dissemination and implementation. The subject consisted of 50 students from the experimental class and 25 students from the control class. The result showed that (1) the picture-story book based on scientific approach through discovery learning method developed valid for use based on expert assessment and test result at the school with “very good” category, (2) the picture-story book based on scientific approach through discovery learning method could be used to improve students’ creative thinking and collaborative skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran sains melalui Flipped-Problem Based Learning (FPBL) berbantuan Zoom Meeting dan e-campus pelita bangsa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan melibatkan subjek penelitian sebanyak 86 mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Pelita Bangsa. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data kualitatif interaktif meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran sains melalui FPBL berbantuan Zoom Meeting dan e-campus yang dilakukan melalui sintaks orientasi masalah, mengorganisasikan pembelajaran, investigasi, pengembangan dan presentasi, serta analisis dan evaluasi dapat membantu mahasiswa mengakomodasi keempat dimensi sains yaitu sikap, proses, produk, dan aplikasi. Selain itu, pembelajaran menjadi lebih fleksibel dan sesuai dengan gaya belajar mahasiswa, serta membantu membantu mengurangi penggunaan kuota dengan mengkombinasikan pembelajaran secara sinkron dan asinkron. Adapun kendala pembelajaran yang dihadapi yaitu membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama dan apabila mahasiswa tidak menguasai pengetahuan dasar yang harus dipelajari secara asinkron dapat menghambat pembelajaran tatap muka secara sinkron.

Abstract

Tujuanapenelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahuiapengaruh penerapan model discovery learning berbantu LKS (Lembar Kinerja Siswa) untukameningkatkan HOTS (High Order Thingking Skills) siswa. Jenismpenelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan metode quasi eksperimen non-equivalent control group design. Sampel dalamapenelitian ini berjumlah 39 siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan nontes. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa soal tes untuk mengukur HOTS siswa dan lembar observasi untuk melihat keberhasilan pembelajaran menggunakan model discovery learning berbantuan LKS. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan regresi linear sederhana dan data nontes dianalisismsecaraadeskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai F hitung 7,53 > F tabel 4,45, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model discovery learning berbantuan LKS berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan HOTS siswa.

Abstract

This community service aims to provide assistance in creating the best urban environment for child development through community awareness. Activities carried out through several stages include ensuring the existence of a physically and socially strong community, the existence of a community that has clear and firm rules, the existence of a community that allows providing opportunities for children and ensuring educational facilities that provide opportunities for learning and their environment and world. . This socialization is motivated by the many findings in families (early children and their caregivers) around the world, especially those who live in poverty or in informal operations, need services that are more accessible, families face poor public transportation, unhealthy food, poor sanitation, insufficient health care, and a lack of affordable child care. These problems can hinder the intellectual development and personality of children. Therefore, it is necessary to plan and design family-centered urban areas, not only to build many playgrounds, but more than that, such as; public transportation, public facilities, health facilities, protection facilities, care, education and public spaces that are safe, clean, and free for small children and families to play together. The service was held in Way Hui Village, South Lampung with a total of 20 participants

Abstract

One of the key factors that affects a child's development is their level of  health and nutrition. Health and nutrition are very important because it can support optimal growth and development.  Children need balanced nutrition to stay healthy and have optimal development. The intention of this activity is to educate the public and conduct workshops on the advantages of a healthy diet for kids' growth and development.  The target of this training is mothers who have early childhood (0-8 years) who are in Way Hui Village.  Three steps are taken to resolve a problem, these are; 1) Stage of initial; 2) Stage of implementation; and 3) the last stage.  The evaluation activity is carried out for every stage by collecting and concluding data. The results of the correlation test showed that there were differences in skill abilities before and after the training given to parents. This is evidenced by the difference in the average  pretest score of 48.33 and the average  posttest of 80.33.  By increasing the value of the posttest, It showed that a person's abilities and skills can be developed through existing knowledge and followed up with training that supports improving the expected skills.

Abstract

Asesmen merupakan kegiatan yang tidak terpisahkan dalam sebuah proses pembelajaran. Asesmen dan pembelajaran merupakan satu-kesatuan yang tidak bisa dipisahkan dalam kegiatan proses pembelajaran di kelas. Asesmen perlu dilakukan di dalam kegiatan pembelajaran untuk mengetahui keberhasilan dari kegiatan yang telah dirancang oleh pendidik Tujuan pembuatan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui konsep dan teori asesmen di Lembaga Pendidikan anak usia dini pada kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Asesmen pada kurikulum Merdeka memiliki 2 jenis yaitu asesmen formatif dan asesmen sumatif. Asesmen formatif dilaksanakan pada awal kegiatan dan pada saat proses pembelajaran. Asesmen formatif bertujuan untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran bukan untuk menilai perkembangan anak anak. Asesmen sumatif dilakukan pada akhir kegiatan pembelajaran, asesmen ini dilakukan pada akhir kegiatan. Pada fase Pondasi asesmen formatif dapat dilakukan satu sampai dua minggu. Acuan pelaksanaan asesmen pada fase pondasi adalah mengacu pada indikator ketercapaian pembelajaran yang telah ditentukan oleh pendidik. Asesmen pada fase pondasi dilakukan menggunakan beberapa Teknik diantaranya adalah Teknik Observasi, Kinerja, dan Portofolio. Pelaksanaan penilaian dilakukan secara autentik, yaitu penilaian yang dilakukan keadaan yang sebenarnya

Abstract

The existence of the Merdeka Curriculum policy poses various challenges and obstacles for educators. With these various challenges and obstacles, educators, and school principals want training and assistance in preparing teaching modules in accordance with the independent curriculum policy through in-house training (IHT) activities. The purpose of carrying out this activity is so that the training participants have insight, understanding and can compile and apply teaching modules at the elementary school (SD) level. The methods used to achieve these goals are lectures, discussions, problem solving, and practice. The form of evaluation carried out in this service activity is divided into 4 stages, namely initial, process, final, and impact evaluation. The results of this activity are 1) in the initial evaluation, teachers have never made teaching modules, but in preparing lesson plans they are quite skilled; 2) in the IHT process, teachers began to understand the planning and learning process expected in the implementation of the independent curriculum; 3) the end of the IHT activity shows that teachers begin to understand the preparation of CP-TP-ATP as outlined in the teaching module; 4) this activity has an impact on reactivating the learning community in schools to share best practices in preparing lesson plans.
