Abstract

Transparency of livestock supply chain management is still a significant problem in Indonesia due to the unavailability of data and information accessible by the stakeholders of cattle supply chains. It is difficult to obtain information for queries, monitoring, and control purposes at any node along cattle supply chains, and thus introducing some risks of insecurity and uncertainty of cattle conditions along the supply chains. Nowadays, consumers are getting smarter and more curious about selecting healthy and high-quality beef. This requires the provision of an easily and securely accessible traceability and transparency system. The aim of this research is to develop an e-traceability system for cattle supply chains. The proposed e-traceability system was developed on the basis of a web-platform that provides wide access and easy links to all actors within a cattle supply chain and stakeholders. All actors in the cattle supply chain need to be registered and the data related to cattles need to be recorded in the traceability system database for analytic and decision-making. The potential applicability of the developed e-traceability system are examined and demonstrated to highlight the benefits of the system in improving transparency and traceability cattle deliveries from land to table for better managerial tasks.

Abstract

This study examines the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in enhancing knowledge management in the online news media industry, with a focus on GOnews.id as a case study. The industry faces unique challenges, including real-time information delivery and collaboration among dispersed teams. This research evaluates the impact of AI in addressing these challenges, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing content quality. Using qualitative methods, including in-depth interviews and document analysis, the study applied a thematic approach with NVivo 12 software. The findings reveal that AI facilitates faster information access, supports team collaboration, and maintains journalistic standards through automated editing tools. However, limitations such as high infrastructure costs, employee resistance, and AI's inability to fully grasp local contexts present challenges to its implementation. The study emphasizes the importance of using AI as a supportive tool rather than replacing human creativity and judgment. Key implications include AI's potential to enhance organizational competitiveness and responsiveness to audience trends. Recommendations include investing in robust infrastructure, providing employee training, and ensuring human oversight to balance technological efficiency with editorial nuance. By addressing these issues, the study provides valuable insights for media organizations seeking to optimize knowledge management strategies and offers a framework for leveraging AI to meet the demands of modern digital journalism.

Abstract

In the digital era, e-commerce platforms such as Shopee must continually improve their user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) to enhance user acceptance and competitiveness. This study analyzes the impact of UI/UX on user acceptance of the Shopee application using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), incorporating four variables: Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU), Behavioral Intention to Use (BIU), and Actual System Use (ASU). A quantitative approach was applied, collecting data via questionnaire from a purposive sample of 90 active Shopee users in RT 002/07, Pela Mampang. Data were analyzed using SPSS 26, including validity, reliability, and hypothesis testing. The results show that PEOU significantly influences PU, while both PU and PEOU have a strong and significant effect on BIU, with PU demonstrating a slightly stronger influence. BIU also significantly affects ASU. These findings indicate that ease of use and perceived benefits are key drivers of user intention and actual usage behavior. The results provide practical implications for Shopee's design and development teams to prioritize enhancing ease of navigation, feature intuitiveness, and visual clarity to increase user engagement and system usage.
