Abstract

Desa Wisata Cisaat, Subang, Jawa Barat memiliki potensi alam yang cukup untuk menjadikannya tujuan wisata yang menarik. Dukungan terhadap konsep desa wisata perlu ditingkatkan melalui partisipasi masyarakat dalam bidang seni, sehingga Desa Cisaat dapat menampilkan daya tarik alam dan seni yang menggugah rasa indah. Dalam menghadirkan aspek seni di Desa Cisaat, diperlukan keahlian dari penduduk setempat. Kekayaan seni yang ada di Desa Cisaat saat ini masih memerlukan upaya pengembangan, mengingat potensinya yang sangat besar. Komunitas di desa ini memiliki populasi yang signifikan dari kalangan anak-anak dan remaja, yang secara potensial bisa berperan penting dalam mengembangkan Desa Cisaat menjadi destinasi wisata yang unggul. Tantangan yang dihadapi di sini adalah keterbatasan jumlah individu yang memiliki pengalaman dan pengetahuan di bidang musik. Pembelajaran seni di Desa Cisaat masih bersifat tradisional, dengan pengetahuan seni yang diwariskan dari generasi tua hanya kepada anggota keluarga. Banyak di antara generasi muda yang belum memiliki kemampuan bermain musik, mereka hanya menjadi penonton pasif dan tidak terlibat dalam aktivitas seni yang ada di desa ini. Melalui program pengabdian, masyarakat diberi pelatihan dalam keterampilan musik, yang pada gilirannya akan membuka peluang bagi pengembangan komunitas dalam bidang seni dan pariwisata. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif dalam memperkaya sektor budaya dan seni di Desa Cisaat, serta berkontribusi terhadap perkembangan desa sebagai destinasi wisata yang menarik

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menghasilkan data kepercayaan masyarakat Bali terhadap mitologi Kala Rahu, mitologi Kala Rahu ini akan direpresentasikan melalui bentuk visualisasi tari yang mengulas tentang gerhana bulan yang mengisahkan setiap kejadian tersebut adanya pertemuan Kala Rahu dan Dewi Ratih Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penciptaan karya tari ini adalah metode “Moving from Within: A New Method for Dance Making” berdasarkan buku yang telah diterjemahkan oleh I Wayan Dibia yang berjudul Bergerak Menurut Kata Hati. Tahapan pengambilan pijakan gerak yang dipergunakan berpijak pada unsur-unsur gerak keseharian dan tari Legong. Gerak keseharian yang diambil seperti bermain. Gerak tari legong, tari Legong mempunyai beberapa motif gerak, motif gerak yang diambil antara lain adalah agem, ulap-ulap, ngeseh, ngumbang. Karya candra graha dikemas dengan format video pengambilan gambar dance film yang memudahkan penonton untuk melihat dari berbagai sudut pandang, yang akan ditayangkan secara daring. Dengan memilih menggunakan dua penari dengan berbagai peran, anak-anak, nenek-nenek, Dewi Ratih, Kala Rahu, Batara Guru, dan Batara Narada. Pemilihan penari meliputi keseragaman postur dalam peran yang dibawakan dan teknik gerak penari. Hasil Kesimpulan dari penelitian dapat melakukan kegiatan eksplorasi gerak dengan mengguanakan data yang telah didapatkan.

Abstract

The Creation of Ngies Dance in the Buang Jong Traditional Procession of the Sawang Tribe with the Footing of the Kedidi Dance Using the Form Within Alma M Hawkins Method, Thesis (Final Choreograph), Dance Education Study Program, Faculty of Language and Arts, State University of Jakarta.This dance work raises the story of a traditional ritual that exists in one of the villages in Bangka Belitung, precisely in the Kumbung Village of South Bangka Regency, namely the Buang Jong Ritual, where throwing garbage means the boat can be interpreted as throwing jong the same as throwing the boat. The method used in this dance work Alma M Hawkins’s method from her book Moving from Within through the stages of experiencing, expressing, seeing, feeling, imagining, manifesting, forming, and evaluating. This dance work reveals how the ritual of throwing Jong was carried out through a new dance work with the footing of the Kedidi Dance movement. This work is the result of a personal observer packaged in a video with new dance moves and music.

Abstract

Bullying is a situation where a person or a group of people abuse their power. Saleh is taken from the name of the inspirational figure, Raden Saleh Syarif Bustaman. Rundung Saleh depicts a story of bullying experienced by Raden Saleh Syarif Bustaman. The correlation of the title and the story of bullying experienced by Raden Saleh is that bullying still happening nowadays. The "Rundung Saleh" dance work is based on the basic movements of the keurseus dance and daily movements using the Alma M Hawkins creation method. The process and results of the embodiment of the dance work is presented in dance film format, which is the result of movement variations through a cinematic process and animated by natural elements or technological manipulation. Therefore, this dance work "Rundung Saleh" is using a shooting techniques according to the concept of stage arrangement or decorative room. The presentation of the dance work uses a dramatic dance type and a double cone dramatic design with a symbolic representational presentation mode.

Abstract

Barong Landung is a mythology that is believed by the Balinese people. The mythology of Barong Landung will be represented through a dance visualization that discusses the love story of King Jayapangus, Dewi Danu and Kang Cing Wie. His dance work was created to answer the problem of the original story from most of the stories circulating among the community and to answer the problem of how to create a dance work with use the mythological theme of the Barong Landung with the aim of creating a form of footing for Legong Kang Cing Wie. The method used of this dance work is the creation method of Prof. Dr. I Wayan Dibia in his book entitled "Panca Sthiti Ngawi Sani". This dance work is packaged in a dance film video format that makes it easy for the audience to see from various points of view. This dance work will be broadcast online through the YouTube channel. This dance work uses 3 dancers who play Raja Jayapangus, Dewi Danu which also acts as Kang Cing Wie and Beautiful Women.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the management system of the Reyog Ponorogo Association in Jabodetabek. The Reyog Ponorogo Association is an organization that still exists and preserves the Reyog Ponorogo in Jabodetabek. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subject of this research is the Reyog Ponorogo Association in Jabodetabek. The research is focused on the study of association management exposure. Data were obtained by direct observation techniques, in- depth interviews, and documentation studies. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The validity of the data is obtained through triangulation through the source stage, namely checking data from various sources. These sources are the results of observations, interviews, and documentation about the Reyog Ponorogo Association in Jabodetabek. This research obtained the following results; (1) The planning process in the form of making 3-month work programs and annual work programs, logos, and ADART of the Reyog Ponorogo Jabodetabek Association (2) Organizing/implementation systems that are carried out by creating organizational parts/structures with respective fields determined by the leadership, (3) The process of directing in terms of the implementation of activities that have been planned so that it goes well, (4) Control that functions to guarantee and ensure the achievement of targets set in the planning process.

Abstract

The Sumbi Raksa dance work is taken from a scene from the Legend of Sangkuriang which tells of Dayang Sumbi's inner war, namely feelings of love, longing mixed with anger, annoyance, confusion, disappointment over the fact that Sangkuriang is his child and the feeling of happiness to be reunited with his child.Sumbi is taken from the name of a figure from Dayang Sumbi and Raksa means to guard and is taken from the word rasa which means feeling. In this dance work, it tells about Dayang Sumbi who tries to protect her heart from her feelings of love and affection for Sangkuriang.The purpose of creating this dance is to convey moral and ethical values to society, how important it is for us to control our emotions and feelings in responding to a reality, even though sometimes it is not what we expect and inbreeding is not allowed because if a gene unites bad things will happen to their life.The dance work method uses Moving From Within from Alma M Hawkins. Book entitled "Moving From Within: A Method For Dancer Making" which is translated by I Wayan Dibia to become "moving according to one's heart."The dance creation techniques used include: experiencing or expressing, seeing, feeling, manifesting, imagining, and forming .

Abstract

The changes in movement and function that were once dances for welcoming ceremonies have become ballroom dances are imbued with the aesthetics of Sipato Modernism. this research focuses on: how Sipatomo uses her dance aesthetics as a teaching module for Pencasilla students to study the art of dance. the theory used in this study is teaching material theory, which is considered to be related to aesthetic theory. this study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. data collection strategies were conducted through interviews, observations and literature review and were processed according to research objectives. "9” the semantic aesthetics of the dance movement called doorway and the supporting elements such as make-up, clothing, accompaniment, venue, etc. the functions and semantic shifts of Sipato Modernism are unique curricula to realize local wisdom in Betawi culture. It is used as a teaching module in a project to empower Pancasila's students. based on the analysis results on Sipato modern aesthetics, the moral and social values that must be maintained and further developed by making it a teaching module there.

Abstract

This study examines the problem of mastering the movement quality of the Single Mask Dance because this dance has a fairly high level of complexity. The purpose of this study was to determine the form of presentation, movement techniques, and movement quality of the Single Mask Dance through Technique and Expression according to Margaret N H'Doubler's perspective. This research can be used as an opportunity for further study regarding the mastery of movement quality in other types of dance using Technique and Expression theory. The research method used is descriptive qualitative analysis and data collection techniques through interviews, observations, literature studies, and document studies. The data obtained includes: 1) the form of presentation of the Single Mask Dance which can be seen through the analysis of the structure of the movement, 2) the movement technique which includes three aspects, namely the regulation of breath, energy, and rhythm, 3) the expression presented through the movement of the mask and body movements. The results of the analysis and interpretation of the data explain that the Single Mask Dance fulfills all sub-chapters in Technique and Expression. Thus, it can be concluded that Technique and Expression can be used as an effort to master the Single Mask Dance.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of presentation of the Zapin Setapak dance in the Citra Art Studio studio. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive and analytical research types. The subjects in this study were the studio leader, choreographer and music composer in the Zapin Setapak dance. Data collection in this study was through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the Zapin Setapak Dance is a manifestation of the development of the Malay Zapin dance, as evidenced by the Citra Art Studio Studio with the owner Siti Suryani, located in the DKI Jakarta area, creating a creative Zapin Setapak dance with characteristics that have their own uniqueness and characteristics by using movements that emphasize the movements of zapin, joget, silat, and are inseparable from the touch of basic Malay motif movements with a distinctive and thick taste. This study is interpreted by Soedarsono's theory on characteristics as a form of creative dance, so that in the Zapin Setapak Dance it can provide deep insight into various elements of dance, from movement to cultural meaning.
