Abstract

This community service aims to introduce financial literacy programs for early childhood. Literacy education is important for early childhood so that they are accustomed to financial management well in the future. In Indonesia financial literacy education is still something that is very rarely done, both in the family and school circles, the provision of education about financial literacy has not been done seriously and planned. Service is expected to benefit the knowledge of simple financial management for early childhood through the "saving" pattern. Dedication material is focused on how to introduce the concept of money, utilization and when to do shopping. Financial literacy education will be conducted for pre-school and elementary school children aged 5 - 12 years from study group students and playing in Waena Bupers formed by students majoring in accounting. The teaching method is carried out by the mentoring method by the Teaching Team. The teaching method uses simulation and learning using financial literacy education film media as well as the movements and songs of Ayo Menabung. The simulation of saving is done by practicing saving using piggy banks that are distributed to students. Assistance from the teaching team is carried out continuously with the introduction of financial literacy education that can benefit early childhood and will benefit themselves, their families and society in the future.

Abstract

This community engagement activity is concerning workshop on the preparation of regulations for the establishment of procurement service units and regulations on the implementation guidelines for the procurement of goods/services in Papua Province. The regulatory workshop is expected to facilitate and smooth the work process of procurement service unit and other related parties as the provider of goods and service providers both in the process of accountability and monitoring and evaluation of goods and services provider activities. The participants of this activity are around 85 people. Then, the result of this activity is expected in preparing regent regulation concerning establishment of service/procurement service unit from each regency and follow-up in the form of socialization in each regency in Papua Province.

Abstract

In order to improve teacher competence, PTK traning activities are carried out for high school teachers in Jayapura Regency and Jayapura City. Classroom Action Research (CAR) training activities using experimental methods using pretest and posttest design, the purpose of using this method is to ensure that this training can provide increased competence for partisicipants while participating in the training. The results of different tests showed that there was a significant difference in knowledge of 0,000 in the time before and aftar the provision of training materials. These results show that providing material stimulus about PTK can improve the competence of teachers in conducting classroom action research to achieve improved performance in teacher performance reporting. This activity aims to be able to foster scientific understanding and understanding of teachers about PTK, support teachers in writing PTK proposals, and teachers are expected to manage and analyze PTK results data, as well as be able to produce research reports and scientific publication.

Abstract

Several previous studies provide evidence that Classroom Action Research benefits teachers in improving a deep understanding of students’ thinking and learning, making changes to the teaching and developing teacher’s professional process, improving self-confidence in teaching ability and changing insights about teaching and learning and renewing commitment to the teaching profession. Currently the problem that occurs is that some teachers have not been optimal in conducting and producing good class action research reports, as well as creating articles sourced from class action research activities carried out that can then be published through scientific journals. In order to improve the competence of teachers to be able to produce a scientific paper that can be used as publication article of scientific journals carrying out class action research training activities for high school/vocational teachers in the Jayapura Regency and Jayapura City. Trainig Data Analysis Class Action Research uses the practical method of data analysis using SPSS analysis tools, the purpose of using this method is to ensure that this training can provide increased competence and understanding for participants during the training.

Abstract

This community service aims to provide knowledge about digitalization in the field of taxation and business for UMKM in Jayapura. The change in the business world towards the era of information technology is a progress that has been going on for approximately 10 years. The Covid-19 pandemic has made business activities change so fast and allowed all lines of business to develop, including UMKM sector. Introducing digitalization and taxes is important for UMKM to prepare themselves to develop their business potential. The process of financial recording and reporting, digital business design and the benefits of being a taxpayer are the main materials provided for UMKM. Public services are focused on three materials, namely tax digitalization literacy, financial digitalization literacy, and business digitalization. Tax literacy introduces UMKM to the benefits of taxes and the procedures also methods of becoming a taxpayer. Business literacy focuses on the introduction of information technology-based financial records and business digitalization. The participants of this service are UMKM in Jayapura City and Accounting students who are doing KKN and become UMKM companions. The teaching method is carried out online with 48 participants then the mentoring process is carried out by KKN students to ensure that the material presented can be applied in the efforts of UMKM members. Through learning methods that are delivered directly to experts in their fields and followed by a mentoring process, knowledge transfer occurs and UMKM can develop their businesses.

Abstract

Every development in the village/village requires a lot of money. According to Law No. 6 of 2014, village funds are funds sourced from the Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) intended for villages that are transferred through the district/city Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) and used to finance governance, implementation, development, community development, and community empowerment. According to Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW), corruption cases in the village budget sector were the most cases, there were 46 corruption cases in the village budget sector out of 271 corruption cases in 2019. Village budget corruption was recorded to give state losses of up to Rp. 32.3 billion. Village’s Revenue and Expenditure Budget is an annual financial plan of the village government approved by the Village Consultative Body (Bamuskam). Village Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APB Kampung) consist of Village Revenue, Village Expenditure, and Village Financing which are presented in accordance with the Village APB format in accordance with Permendagri 113 of 2014. Village Budgeting Training for the Apparatus of the Asei Kecil Village Government Office in Jayapura Regency uses an experimental method using a practical method of identifying and compiling a village budget and a direct confirmation method in the form of simple questions related to the importance of village financial management in encouraging the welfare of the village community. Abstract

Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are one of the economic drivers that play an important role in the Indonesian economy. One of the common problems faced by MSME players is financial, such as a lack of understanding and awareness of the importance of financial planning and management (Raharjo et al., 2022). Often viewed as a complex concept, financial management is an important driver of growth for MSMEs. By engaging in financial planning and management, MSME owners can clearly understand the financial health of their business over a certain period. However, some MSME players still consider financial management to be scary and insignificant. The community service program (PKM) is a proactive initiative to empower MSMEs, especially those selling areca nut in Entrop Village, Jayapura City, to master finances and utilize financial technology. Program activities, which include knowledge sharing and hands-on training in financial management and the use of financial technology, are designed to equip MSMEs with the tools they need to thrive. The conclusion that can be drawn from the Fintech Application-Based Accounting Recording Training for Papuan Sirih Selling MSMEs in Entrop Village, Jayapura City, is to increase the knowledge and understanding of Papuan Sirih Selling MSMEs to grow and be able to record business finances and support the sustainability of their business well.
