Abstract

The socialization of the use of fermented tofu dregs in the ration of the ettawa crossbreed goat as an effort to overcome the lack of feed in the dry season was carried out to the ettawa crossbreed goat breeders in Gp. Emperom District. Jaya Baru Banda Aceh City. This service activity starts from November 27, 2021 until December 2021. The form of this service activity is in the form of socialization and implementation of the use of fermented tofu dregs in dairy goat rations. The objectives of this service activity are; increase knowledge of farmers on the use of tofu dregs as animal feed. The method applied in 2 stages. Phase I, namely providing socialization in the form of; a) Presenting tofu dregs as animal feed ingredients as well as various kinds of raw materials/home industry waste or wastes from processing agricultural products available in Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar cities that can be used as animal feed ingredients. b) Presenting/explaining various kinds of appropriate technological methods to process agricultural waste into animal feed ingredients to farmers and livestock groups. c) Furthermore, breeders are provided with knowledge of the method of formulating feed ingredients into goat rations/concentrates. The outputs obtained by farmers during this service activity are; breeders get an overview of the pattern of giving tofu dregs to livestock properly and correctly starting from; the initial handling, the processing process into raw materials for animal feed, the fermentation method, and the method of formulation into the ration. In addition, farmers are equipped with an understanding of handling agricultural waste by utilizing ammonia and silage technology for ruminant animal feed as an effort to overcome feed shortages in the dry season.

Abstract

The study was conducted in Abeuk Reuling village of Sawang subdistrict, North Aceh District. The aims of this study was to determined the response of NPK fertilizer, the type of ameliorants and the interaction between both treatment of the soil physic properties and the growth of paddy rice on new paddy field. The methods of this study based on a randomized block design factorial 4 x 4 and repeated 3 times, which consists of a dose of NPK and the type of ameliorants. The results showed that the interaction of dose of NPK fertilizer and type of ameliorants is highly siginificant effect on the soil physic properties that is bulk density, soil porosity dan aggregate stability index. While the single effect of dose of NPK fertilizer and type of ameliorants is highly siginificant effect on plant growth that is plant height at 30, 45, 90 days after planting and the number of tillers per hill. Keywords: ameliorant, new paddy field, NPK fertilizer, soil physic properties

Abstract

Most of the houses owned by the community in Gampong Lam Bheu have yards and have not been used. The main problems of partners are: (1) Lack of knowledge and skills in TOGA cultivation starting from land preparation, seeding, planting and care. (2) Do not know what types of plants are included in TOGA (3). Lack of knowledge and skills in processing TOGA into herbs and other herbal medicines. (4). There is no village-owned TOGA educational park yet. Implementation activities will begin with the coordination and socialization stage, then continue with counseling on the introduction of types, benefits of family medicinal plants and making brochures. The next activity was a demonstration of the use of yards, proper cultivation of plants starting from cultivating the land, seeding, planting and maintenance, production of liquid organic fertilizers with household waste as raw materials and production of vegetable pesticides. Followed by a demonstration of the processing of TOGA into herbal medicine and herbal medicines, partners will then be facilitated in making the Village's Educational Park. Conclusion This PMM activity program is proven to have: Increased knowledge, skills and ability to understand the types and benefits of family medicinal plants, ability to understand TOGA cultivation, production of liquid organic fertilizer, and production of vegetable pesticides, as well as ability to process family medicinal plants into herbs and medicines herbal medicines that have high selling value

Abstract

Eco-print merupakan salah satu produk tekstil yang ramah lingkungan. Eco-print merupakan Teknik yang menggunakan daun, bunga dan buah yang dapat mengeluarkan warna. Kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat ini memberikan sumbangsih berupa pelaksanaan kegiatan eco-print yang memanfaatkan potensi alam di lingkungan Gampong Baro. Sasaran PKM ini adalah anak-anak di lingkungan Gampong Baro, sehingga mereka dapat mengetahui bahaya bahan pewarna sintetis dan bahan pewarna alami serta menumbuhkan literasi lingkungan. Metode yang diterapkan pada kegiatan PKM ini yaitu dengan melatih langsung anak-anak Gampong Baro dalam melakukan kegiatan eco-print secara langsung. Kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan anak-anak Gampong Baro. Luaran PKM ini adalah menumbuhkan literasi lingkungan anak-anak. Eksplorasi eco-print Teknik pounding dengan memanfaatkan daun jati, daun jarak, daun papaya, daun singkong, daun jambu biji, dan daun mangga sebagai motif utama. Eksplorasi eco-print ini akan menghasilkan karya yang unik dan mempunyai nilai kebaharuan yang tinggi. Eco-print menggunakan prinsip ekologis untuk mengurangi dampak pencemaran lingkungan akibat industri tekstil. Selain itu teknik eco-print dapat melestarikan tumbuhan dan juga alam. Dengan mengenalkan dan juga mempraktikkan eco-print melalui pelatihan pembuatan eco-print yang diikuti oleh anak-anak akan dapat meningkatkan kreativitas, keterampilan serta menumbuhkan literasi lingkungan.

Abstract

The role of vegetables in everyday life is vital as a source of vitamins for family health as well as as a family source of income. But today the number of farmlands for vegetable cultivation is decreasing for a long time, due to the increasing number of buildings and housing being built. The objective of the research is to find out a picture of the use of hydroponic vegetables, the perception of farmers and to analyze the factors that influence farmers' perceptions of the innovation of hydroponic vegetables in the City of Banda Aceh and Greater Aceh. The number of respondents in this study is 10 respondents. Sampling technique is done by saturated sampling. (sampel sensus). Based on the results of the analysis it can be concluded that the real influential variables are business experience, distribution, purchasing power and innovation, whereas the real non-influential are age and education. Based on the F test, all variables have a real influence on farmers' perceptions of hydroponic vegetable cultivation tests
