Abstract

Project based learning merupakan model pembelajaran yang menggunakan proyek atau kegiatan sebagai media untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran geografi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran geografi Kelas XI IPS 1 SMA Bina Karya Halmahera Selatan. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPS 1 SMA Bina Karya Halmahera Selatan tahun ajaran 2022/2023 yang terdiri dari 23 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan aktivitas siswa dan rubrik tingkat kreativitas siswa dengan menggunakan analisis rumus persentase. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang diperoleh kreativitas siswa dari siklus I dan II dengan menerapkan model project based learning diperoleh nilai presentase siklus I skor 36,96% dengan kriteria cukup baik dan pada siklus II skor 65,00% dengan kriteria baik aktivitas guru pada siklus I presentase sebesar 80,00% dengan kriteria baik dan meningkat pada siklus II skor 98,00% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Dari pengolahan tingkat dan terjadi perbedaan disetiap siklus pembelajaran, Artinya terdapat peningkatkatan tingkat kreativitas siswa dengan penerapan model project-based learning (PBL) dari sebelumnya.

Abstract

This article examines the use of social media to support the learning process at SMP Negeri 12 Tidore Islands City. This research aims to determine the influence of social media on student learning motivation. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, data collection techniques are interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this research found that the use of social media really supports learning at SMP Negeri 12 Tidore Islands City, students are very enthusiastic in collaborating on teaching materials with online media, students are more enthusiastic about following online tutorials, students find it easier to learn, teachers are providing education to students to use social media wisely, with social media, teachers and students can interact in learning activities anywhere and at any time. In this way, educational interactions are created between students and teachers which can strengthen student motivation so that students have a sense of enthusiasm for studying more actively. So that the use of social media will have an impact on students as a good communication medium. This method of using social media can be used as initial capital to increase effective educational communication between teachers and students as well as educating students. Moreover, if other subject teachers also do the same thing to build closeness with students and direct students to educational communication that takes place outside of school learning hours. Abstract

A lecturer's responsibility in implementing the University’s three main purposes for the benefit of society is community service. Community service is considered necessary as a means to bridge the gap between the campus and the community, in this case, the geography teachers in Ternate City who are members of the MGMP Geography Teacher Community of Ternate City, who often carry out activities centered at SMAN 4 Ternate City. To improve the competencies of geography teachers, it is considered necessary for lecturers from the Geography Education Study Program, FKIP, Universitas Khairun to conduct training on creating digital thematic maps using GIS applications. The advantage of thematic maps lies in the fact that standard rules as applied in topographic maps are not strictly adhered to. Thematic maps are more straightforward, and the subjectivity of the mapmaker is highly influential. The training method used was a presentation method followed by demonstration and practical training. The research results indicate that the training on creating thematic maps using GIS effectively improved teachers' knowledge and skills in creating thematic maps. This is evidenced by the increase in the average pre-test and post-test scores of the training participants, as well as a positive change in the partners' attitude towards the use of GIS in learning.

Abstract

Indonesia terkenal dengan keanekaragaman bahan pangan, salah satunya ubi kayu yang terdapat di Maluku Utara. Ubi kayu bisa diolah salah satunya menjadi sagu lempeng dan memiliki cita rasa yang khas. Kelurahan Jaya juga memiliki olahan ubi kayu yaitu berupa sagu lempeng. Sagu lempeng di daerah ini memiliki varian berbeda dengan sagu lempeng di daerah lain. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran ibu rumah tangga dalam meningkatkan perekonomian keluarga melalui usaha sagu lempeng di Kelurahan Jaya, Tidore Utara, Kota Tidore Kepulauan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dan jumlah responden 10 orang dengan kriteria sudah berpengalaman memproduksi sagu lebih kurang selama 3 tahun. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa peranan ibu rumah tangga melalui usaha sagu lempeng di Kelurahan Jaya, mampu meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga dan digunakan untuk kebutuhan keluarga.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the Project Based Learning (PBL) learning model in increasing the activeness of class X students of MA Darul Khairaat Tafamutu, Ternate City in Geography subjects. Student activeness during the learning process is an important factor that influences the success of learning, but so far the activeness of students in class X is still relatively low. The PBL model was chosen as an innovative solution because it places students as the center of learning through active involvement in projects relevant to Geography material. This study uses the classroom action research (CAR) method which is implemented in several cycles. Data were collected through observations of student activeness, interviews, motivation questionnaires, documentation, and assessment of learning outcomes. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively to measure the increase in student activeness and response to the application of PBL. The results of the study showed that the application of the Project Based Learning learning model significantly increased student activeness in the Geography learning process. Students became more enthusiastic, actively asked questions, discussed, and collaborated in completing projects. In addition, learning motivation and understanding of Geography concepts also increased. Obstacles encountered during implementation can be overcome by improvements in each learning cycle.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the development of the Popogu Cave tourist attraction in Sangowo Barat Village, East Morotai District, Morotai Island Regency. The subjects of this study were the Head of Sangowo Barat Village, the owner of the Popogu Cave tourist attraction land, Bumdes Sangowo Barat, the people of Sangowo Barat Village and visitors to the Popogu Cave tourist attraction, who were made the subjects of the study as many as eighteen people. The research method used was a qualitative descriptive method. Based on the research data, it shows that in the interview results regarding the development of the Popogu Cave tourist attraction in Sangowo Barat Village, it can be seen from three aspects, namely management, form of development, inhibiting factors. In the management of the availability of facilities at the Popogu Cave tourist attraction, it is still very limited, therefore, it has not been managed properly, then the form of development still maintains its natural beauty so that sustainable development has not been carried out optimally, while the inhibiting factors are the lack of attention from related agencies and have not made improvements to accessibility to the location of the Popogu Cave tourist attraction in Sangowo Barat Village, East Morotai District, Morotai Island Regency.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Jiko Malamo tourism site in the Takome sub-district. The objectives of this research include: (1) knowing the role of local culture in tourism development, and (2) describing the impact of local culture on tourism development. The research was conducted in a qualitative form with descriptive analysis. The results showed that the role of local culture in jiko malamo tourism can be seen from changes in several existing cultural elements, including the development of local community knowledge systems, emergence of new livelihoods, recognition of language diversity, technological advances, formation of social organizations, emergence of commercialization of hospitality, shifts solidarity values, as well as the emergence of horizontal conflicts between local communities. The tourism management strategy in Takome Village still leads to the type of cooperative solidarity, while the pattern of community relations is in accordance with the characteristics of the community which is marked by a strong culture of mutual cooperation, consensus in decision making, and life that still has a traditional rural nuance.

Abstract

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana efektivitas pemberdayaan dana desa dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat desa jiko kecamatan mandioli selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Matland untuk mengetahui efektivitas dana desa, yaitu tepat kebijakan, tepat pelaksanaan, tepat target, tepat lingkungan serta tepat proses. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang dilaksanakan di  Desa Jiko Kecamatan Mandioli Selatan secara khususnya. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, mengkaji dokumen dan arsip, serta observasi. Validitas  data  menggunakan  triangulasi  sumber.  Teknik  analisis  data menggunakan model analisis interaktif.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, efektivitas pemberdayaan dana desa Jiko dinilai tepat. Dari “lima tepat” menurut Matland, diperoleh hasil bahwa; Tepat Kebijkan, dengan adanya kebijakan dana desa masyarakat Jiko telah menerima dan menikmati manfaatnya. Yakni akses masyarakat Desa jiko dalam sehari-hari lebih mudah. Tepat Pelaksanaan, bahwa pemerintah desa Jiko telah melakukan kerjasama yang baik dengan masyarakat, pemerintah kota/kabupaten dan pihak swasta. Tepat Target, bahwa pemberdayaan yang dilakukan telah sesuai dengan target di APBDes. Tepat Lingkungan, koordinasi yang dilakukan pemerintah desa Jiko dengan masyarakat dan pemerintah kota/kabupaten telah baik. Serta di lingkungan eksternal  kebijakan  media  massa  telah  memberikan  infomasi  terkait pembangunan-pembangunan di Desa Jiko. Sedangkan di Tepat Proses, Pemerintah kabupaten/kota, kecamatan hingga desa sudah memahami maksud dan tujuan pemberdayaan Dana Desa. Pemberdayaan Dana Desa ini diterima dan dilaksanakan sesuai dengan tujuan dari pemberdayaan dana desa. Kata Kunci : Efektivitas, Dana Desa, Kesejahteraan
