Abstract

With today’s technological development, human activities are becoming more and more easy to do, as sales and sales activities have been broken down with what is called "e-commerce. E-commerce is an attempt to conduct trade transactions between sellers and buyers using the Internet. The development of information technology, especially in the field of the Internet, is a driving factor in the development of e-commerce. Using information technology, e-commerce can be used as a solution to help manufacturers face competitors. The objective of this final task is to create an e-commerce information system on the product of Duo Serangkai, which is a means of marketing and sales to develop business in the sale and purchase of products online that contains information about the product as well as the product ordering process. When designing this system, the authors use the concepts of object-oriented programming (OOP) and the unified modeling language (UML). The E-Commerce Information System that was used in this study performed admirably. Thus, it can be implemented by the product in terms of promotion and online sales, as well as managing all product data, report data, and user data..

Abstract

Zulfan Rezqullah shop is a shop that sells various kinds of goods and building materials which was established in 2018, in the shop providing various kinds of equipment and building materials needed in the construction sector. Currently the Zulfan Rezqullah building shop still uses a manual system, starting from transactions, reports, entry and exit of goods and stock of goods is still manual and when serving some customers who buy goods in large quantities and with large nominalsthey still use notes, because the amount of data has accumulated and takes up a lot of space and uses paper making it difficult to find. Making an application at Zulfan Rezqullah's web-based building shop using system design and database design, User Experience User Interface design, using PhpMyAdmin and as a data storage medium, this system is made to be used by the admin. the researcher took the initiative to design a User Interface User Experience design for the sales application at the Zulfan Rezqullah building shop to make interactions between users and products easier, effective, and fun and also for users to access applications at the Zulfan Rezqullah building shop.

Abstract

Tourism is a vital economic sector in Indonesia, including in Jambi City, which contributes significantly to regional income and increasing employment. However, the management of tourist visit data at the Jambi Provincial Culture and Tourism Office is still done manually, making it difficult to obtain accurate information on tourist trends and their preferences. These constraints include the limitations of modern information technology and the lack of application of data analysis methods such as clustering, which hinders the effectiveness of strategic decision making. This study proposes the application of the K-Means clustering method to group tourist visit data based on characteristics such as tourist origin, purpose of visit, and type of destination. The Orange data analysis tool is used to accelerate the analysis and visualization process, resulting in in-depth and strategic insights. With the integration of Orange and Python, data analysis can be more flexible and tailored to needs. This approach is expected to improve the management of tourist visit data, help identify tourist patterns, and support more effective tourism development in Jambi Province.

Abstract

Geographic Information System (GIS) is a system that is made quite interactive and can integrate spatial data, this technology system technology can allow information about the distribution of traditional and modern markets in Kerinci district. The existence of a market in an area is able to improve the economy and regional income. in Kerinci regency there are many traditional markets spread across several sub-districts in Kerinci regency. Currently, information about the location of traditional markets is still very little and not much information about the market is presented in the form of digital maps, because of that, researchers aim to design and build a web-based Geographic Information System (GIS) application that can provide information about the location point of the nearest traditional market in Kerinci Regency. In this Traditional Market Geographic Information System (GIS) research, researchers used Qualitative methods with a Descriptive approach, descriptive research aims to make descriptive systematic, factual and accurate about the facts in a particular area with waterfall modeling as a Geographic Information system development methodology.

Abstract

This study aims to design a UX Dashboard for analyzing the user experience of the Lazada app. UX methods, such as data collection and user experience analysis, are integrated. Findings from data analysis are utilized to create a dashboard providing a comprehensive overview of user experience, covering navigation, product search, checkout processes, and customer support. The dashboard enables monitoring changes in user experience and evaluating the impact of improvements. The results are expected to offer valuable insights for the Lazada development team to enhance the application and contribute to understanding UX practices in the e-commerce context and the development of user experience dashboards.

Abstract

User experience is a science that studies how to design and change a user's feelings, perceptions and behavior towards a display, service and performance of a product, system or service. User experience (UX) assesses how satisfied and comfortable a person is with a product, system and service. The user interface is one of the factors that determines the increase in traffic on a website. Because users interact with programming logic through the user interface. And the design of the user interface itself is very important considering that the more effective and efficient a design is, the more comfortable the user will be to linger on the website. The user interface is one of the most important factors in building a website. E-commerce is a dynamic set of application technologies and business processes that connect companies, consumers and certain communities through electronic transactions and trading of goods, services and information that is carried out electronically. The UI/UX on the Batik Duo Serangkai Jambi e-commerce website is to provide a solution to enhance the transparent postage feature, display popular products, increase information about product color and size, and create a visual experience that spoils the eyes for customers.

Abstract

Developing a website with a good user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) is crucial in meeting customer needs and ensuring the success of online businesses. This research examines the application of the Design Thinking method in the UI/UX design process for the Bootchin Coffee website, an e-commerce platform that focuses on premium coffee products. This study employs a qualitative approach with key stages including understanding, observation, ideation, prototyping, and testing. Data is collected through interviews with potential users, competitor analysis, and observation. Additionally, this study explores user-centered design perspectives, encompassing aesthetics, functionality, and user satisfaction. The results of the research show that the application of Design Thinking in the UI/UX design of the Bootchin Coffee website enhances user interaction with the site. A more intuitive interface design, an improved understanding of user needs, and an overall enhanced user experience are the primary outcomes of this research. User acceptance testing also demonstrates a positive response from users to the implemented changes. Thus, this research provides recommendations for web developers and business owners to adopt the Design Thinking approach in designing their websites to meet the increasing demands of online consumers for a high-quality online experience. This study is expected to contribute to the development of UI/UX design and user experience knowledge and offer practical guidance to business owners seeking to improve the quality of their websites through the application of Design Thinking principles.

Abstract

PT Surveyor Indonesia (Persero) faces challenges in managing personnel performance data, particularly in the Jambi region, due to suboptimal monitoring practices that hinder effective and timely strategic decision-making. This study aims to develop a gamified web-based application that delivers structured, interactive, and motivational performance data visualization. The research employs a Research and Development (R&D) method with a descriptive qualitative approach, encompassing need analysis through interviews and document reviews, user interface design using Figma, system implementation with Laravel, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript, and Alpine.js, and system testing within PT Surveyor Indonesia’s Jambi office. The developed application successfully integrates gamification elements such as Achievements Level/Badges and Squad Profile, alongside talent and activity management features based on performance data. The interactive visualization system, realized through dashboards, points, and level mechanisms, provides transparency and positive feedback to users. Evaluation of usability, data visualization effectiveness, and the motivational impact of gamification elements revealed positive responses from internal users. The main conclusion of this study is that implementing gamification in a web-based performance information system not only enhances employee engagement and motivation but also supports a more adaptive and sustainable digital transformation in human resource management. ABSTRAKPT Surveyor Indonesia (Persero) menghadapi tantangan dalam pengelolaan data kinerja personil, khususnya di wilayah Jambi, akibat praktik monitoring yang belum optimal dan berdampak pada efektivitas pengambilan keputusan strategis. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan aplikasi web berbasis gamifikasi yang mampu menyajikan visualisasi data kinerja secara interaktif, terstruktur, dan memotivasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, mencakup tahap analisis kebutuhan melalui wawancara dan studi dokumen, perancangan antarmuka menggunakan Figma, implementasi dengan Laravel, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript, serta Alpine.js, dan pengujian sistem pada lingkungan kerja PT Surveyor Indonesia wilayah Jambi. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi berhasil mengintegrasikan elemen gamifikasi berupa Achievements Level/Badges dan Squad Profile serta fitur manajemen talenta dan aktivitas berbasis data. Sistem visualisasi interaktif yang dibangun melalui dashboard, poin, dan level, memberikan transparansi dan umpan balik positif bagi pengguna. Evaluasi terhadap kemudahan penggunaan, efektivitas visualisasi, dan pengaruh elemen gamifikasi menunjukkan respons positif dari pengguna internal. Simpulan utama dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penerapan gamifikasi yang tepat dalam sistem informasi kinerja berbasis web tidak hanya meningkatkan keterlibatan dan motivasi karyawan, tetapi juga mendukung transformasi digital dalam pengelolaan sumber daya manusia secara lebih adaptif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Recording on the standby card or the so-called Health Alert Card (HAC) is still done manually at Jambi Sulthan Thaha Airport. This makes the work less effective and efficient in terms of time to complete work in the field. Seeing these conditions, an application is needed to assist Jambi KKP (Port Health Office) officers or employees in making a policy, therefore a Website-Based Health Alert Card (HAC) data input application for passengers at the Jambi Sulthan Thaha Airport. Which will be applied to assist Jambi KKP (Port Health Office) officers or employees in carrying out their duties to the maximum. With the Web-Based Health Alert Card (HAC) Registration Application at Sulthan Thaha Airport Jambi, it is hoped that it can assist officers or employees in inputting passenger HAC data that is still manual or still recorded as Web-based data input. That way every input data that is inputted to the computer through the Website Application will produce work that is effective, efficient and fast and safe to be stored and managed properly. Making this application is done by collecting data, system design, system analysis, and database design. Making this application program developed with PHP, the database used is MySQL. Data input needs in this application are departure data, airline data, individual admin data, and departure report data.

Abstract

Idea Shoes Laundry Shop is an entrepreneur who is engaged in the laundry/washing of shoes, all of whose activities are still using a manual system. The purpose of this research is to assist the store in designing a service information system at the Ide Shoes Store. This sales information system can help the store in terms of promoting its business to the public. The design of this information system uses a web-based method. With the design of a web profile and promotional media for this shoe laundry, it makes it easier for laundromats to introduce their business to many people.
