Abstract

This study explores the transformation of the concept of qitāl within the historical discourse of Qur’anic exegesis, particularly in relation to verses often associated with warfare. The issue has gained increasing relevance in the context of Islamophobia and widespread misconceptions that frequently link Islam to violence. By employing a genealogical approach to Qur’anic exegesis, this research aims to trace the transformation of the meaning of qitāl from the pre-Qur’anic era to contemporary exegesis. The findings reveal that while qitāl initially referred to physical combat with a brutal connotation, it evolved into a concept imbued with moral and spiritual dimensions within Islamic teachings. This shift continued across the exegetical discourse from the classical to contemporary periods, where qitāl no longer solely emphasizes physical warfare but encompasses non-physical struggles that contribute to discussions on social justice and global peace. This transformation has been shaped by various social and political contexts, as well as by the agents involved. These influences indicate an ongoing dynamism in Qur’anic interpretation, reflecting its adaptation to global developments, particularly in response to Islamophobia and the narratives that associate Islam with violence.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan kegiatan keagamaan dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan spiritual siswa di MAN 1 Konsel. Metode Penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tekhnik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan model Milles dan Huberman, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; 1) Kegiatan keagamaan di MAN 1 Konsel sudah berjalan sesuai dengan apa yang telah diprogramkan atau direncanakan sebelumnya. Adapun kegiatan mingguan yaitu sholat dhuha berjama’ah, sholat zuhur berjama’ah dan membaca al-Qur’an. Kegiatan mingguan yaitu Majelis ta’lim, pidato bahasa Arab, tahfidz, kaligrafi, tilawah dan sholat jum’at. Kegiatan tahunan yaitu peringatan hari besar Islam seperti peringatan maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW, Isra’ Mi’raj Nabi Besar Muhammad SAW dan pesantren kilat di bulan suci Ramadhan; 2) Kegiatan keagamaan yang dilaksanakan diawasi oleh setiap wali kelas atau guru piket yang bertugas. Sholat dhuha dilaksanakan secara bergantian setiap kelas karena daya tampung masjid yang kurang memadai, begitupun untuk sholat zuhur berjama’ah didahulukan yang perempuan kemudian laki-laki; 3) Kendala yang dihadapi sekolah dalam menerapkan kegiatan keagamaan adalah rasa malas yang dirasakan oleh peserta didik, siswa yang sering terlambat, masjid yang masih dalam tahap renovasi dan adanya pandemi Covid-19

Abstract

his paper aims to understand the meaning and essence of usury in the Koran, thus providing a complete understanding to distinguish transactional practices that have prevailed in the Arab community, including the sale and purchase and to understand the Qoran solutions to combat the practice of usury. Using descriptive analysis method with socio-historical approach to interpretation, verses that discuss usury, analyzing and linking (absurd) between verses on usury. The first result, that usury question is ad'afan mudh'afatan happens to contain elements of economic practices ekploitasi. secondly, usury actors experience the chaos and confusion in life and last the Qoran offers charity (including alms) as a concept ta'awwun (help) to those in need
