Abstract

Serangan hama WBC dapat mengakibatkan kerugian yang sangat besar bagi petani. Intensitas serangan dapat mencapai lebih dari 90% atau gagal panen (hopperburn). Penanaman padi Varietas Unggul Tahan Wereng (VUTW) merupakansalah satu upaya penanganan hama WBC. Oleh karena itu tujuan penelitian  adalah mengevaluasi respon pertumbuhan dan intensitas serangan WBC pada tiga varietas padi yang diinvestasi dengan tingkat kepadatan populasi yang berbeda. Penelitian didesain dalam pola faktorial dengan rancangan dasar Rancangan Petak Terpisah (RPT) yang terdiri atas dua faktor. Faktor pertama Varietas sebagai petak utama (PU) yang terdiri atas tiga taraf yaitu Inpari 33 (V1), Tarabas (V2), dan Mekongga (V3). Faktor kedua tingkat kepadatan populasi WBC sebagai anak petak (AP) yang terdiri atas lima taraf yaitu lima ekor WBC (P1), 10 ekor WBC (P2), 15 ekor WBC (P3), 20 ekor WBC (P4) dan kontrol tanpa populasi WBC (P0). Setiap perlakuan diulang tiga  kali sehingga total unit percobaan ada 45 pot. Variabel yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan maksimum, dan Intensitas serangan WBC. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada interaksi antara semua variabel yang diamati. Semakin tinggi jumlah serangga yang diinvestasi maka semakin rendah tinggi tanaman 86,00 cm pada kombinasi varietas Mekongga dengan jumlah 20 ekor WBC/rumpun, sebaliknya kombinasi varietas Tarabas dengan tanpa investasi WBC memberikan respon tinggi tanaman tertinggi. Sebaliknya pada variabel jumlah anakan varietas Tarabas dengan 20 ekor WBC/rumpun menghasilkan jumlah anakan terendah 5,33 anakan. sedangkan kombinasi inpari-33 tanpa WBC menghasilkan jumlah anakan tertinggi 12,33 anakan. Intensitas serangan WBC yang tertinggi terjadi pada kombinasi varietas Tarabas dengan jumlah WBC 20 ekor/rumpun  yang mencapai 45%. Hal yang menarik terjadi pada kombinasi Inpari-33 dengan 10 WBC/rumpun intensitas serangan 0% dan berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan lainnya, sebaliknya dua  varietas lainnya yang diuji menunjukkan adanya intensitas serangan WBC meskipun masih sangat rendah. Nampaknya varietas Inpari-33 memberikan respon pertumbuhan yang lebih baik ketika diinvestasi dengan WBC, sedangkan varietas Terabas memberikan respon pertumbuhan yang rendah serta tingkat serangan WBC paling tinggi. Kata Kunci: Padi, Kepadatan populasi, WBC, intensitas serangan,

Abstract

This article seeks to elucidate the assimilation of the Islamic and customary law within the Tolaki community in Konawe, Southeast Sulawesi. The Islamization of Tolaki society follows a dialogic-integrative model, similar to other Eastern Indonesian societies like Gowa-Tallo, Bone, Ternate, and Buton. This is a qualitative research and applies the philosophy of history and Islamic education for data analysis. The methods of data collection include interviews, documentations, and observations. According to this study, the majority of Tolaki people prefer Islam as their religion. The integration of the Islamic law and custom in Tolaki society is highly robust, evident through the kalo sara procedure serving as a symbol of the amalgamation of Islam and culture. The Tolaki community practices the Islamic law, which is seen in the customary fines imposed on individuals who commit customary infractions. The model of Islamization of the Tolaki community can be described as dialogical-integral. This means that the process of Islamization starts with the Sultanate and then extends to the wider community. From an Islamic educational standpoint, the process of Islamization starts with the Sultanate and progresses to the establishment of various Islamic educational institutions, including Religious Teacher Education. Subsequently, several Islamic boarding schools emerge, transforming societal perceptions towards Islamic educational institutions. Presently, there is a growing trend of the Tolaki people migrating to the mainland as a result of the favorable climate in Islamic institutions. Furthermore, the graduates of these schools are making tangible contributions to society.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Rumba-rumba Village, South Konawe Regency, the problem in this research is the effect of labor productivity on wage levels in Rumba-rumba Village. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of labor productivity on the level of wages in Rumba-rumba Village. The analytical method used is simple regression, with a total sample of 25 people. The results showed that the effect of labor productivity had a positive and significant effect on the level of wages. The simple regression formula equation can be obtained as follows: 0.735 (Y) = 0.746 (X1). Based on Table 4.9 above, it shows that the regression coefficient value of the labor productivity variable (b1) is positive, namely 0.746, meaning that for every 1 unit increase in labor productivity, it will increase the wage rate by 0.746 units assuming the other independent variables have a fixed value. Based on the data above, it shows that the Adjusted R2 value is 0.457 indicating that the wage level variable (Y) can be explained by the independent variable in the form of labor productivity (X1) or its value is 45.7 percent and the remaining 54.3 percent is explained by other variables outside this research model.

Abstract

Arts education is using art as a medium for character education for humans. However, there are still many who think that art is only for fun with no clear benefits. The use of art in higher education has not gone well considering the assumption that art, especially dance, is only related to movement skills. Unfortunately, it is assumed that women are better at dancing than men and that women are more "flexible" in dancing. Men who can dance are considered strange and dance is considered unable to improve cognitive or affective abilities. Actually, dance can be used as an educational character for students. The values contained in a dance can be used as an educational medium. Movement skills in arts education are not the main focus. Students do not need to be flexible in dancing, but the most important thing is the values in dance that can be conveyed to shape the student's character. In this article, the inaq tegining amaq teganang dance is used to appreciate traditional dance and as a medium for character education for students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: 1) Faktor Internal dan faktor eksternal yang mempengaruhi rendahnya minat baca di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Sultra. 2) Upaya-upaya yang telah di lakukan dalam meningkatkan minat baca di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Sultra. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif  dengan pendekatan deskritif. Metode pengumpulan data penelitian ini terdiri dari observasi, wawacara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian meggunakan analisis data Miles dan Huberman dengan beberapa tahapan, yaitu tahap reduksi data, tahap penyajian data, dan tahap penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Sedangkan subjek penelitian ini adalah pegawai di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Sultra. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Faktor internal dan eksternal yang mempengaruhi rendahnya minat baca di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara ialah berupa fasilitas sarana yang kurang memadai, perkembangan teknologi, koleksi bahan pustaka, kebutuhan anggaran, kurangnya sosialisasi dan kurang sumber daya manusia. 2) Upaya-upaya yang telah di lakukan dalam meningkatkan minat baca di Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara ialah berupa membuat kegiatan, kerjasama dengan stake holder, membentuk organisasi, peningkatan sarana dan prasarana, dan perpustakaan keliling.Kata kunci: Analisis, Rendahnya, Minat Baca

Abstract

Abstract: This quantitative causal study aims to determine the technology acceptance in the learning process among SMP/MTs teachers in Konawe, Southeast Sulawesi. Cluster random sampling was used to select the sample, considering the sampling area. The data collection was carried out through survey techniques using a questionnaire. The results show that the experience has a significant effect on perceived ease of use; both perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use have a significant effect on usage attitudes; the usage attitude, in turn, has a significant effect on the behavioral intention to use at α = 0.05. Whereas at α = 0.1, the innovativeness variable affects the perception of perceived usefulness, and facilitating conditions affect the perception of perceived ease of use. The influence of experience and facility conditions is the key for teachers to easily accept and use learning technology. Experience is also related to teachers' perceptions of the usefulness of technology in classroom learning. This requires teachers to continue to improve their skills. School leaders and policy makers are also expected to pay more attention to teacher skills and facilities that support the implementation of learning in the classroom. The more positive and interested teachers are in using learning technology, the easier it is for them to accept the technology. Abstrak: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif kausalitas yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerimaan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran pada populasi guru-guru SMP/MTs di Kabupaten Konawe Sulawesi Tenggara. Sampel dipilih menggunakan cluster random sampling, dengan memperhatikan wilayah pengambilan sampel. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan teknik survei menggunakan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman (Experience) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap presepsi kemudahan dalam menggunakan (Perceived Ease of Use); presepsi kegunaan yang dirasakan (Perceived Usefulness) dan kemudahan dalam menggunakan (Perceived ease of use) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap sikap untuk menggunakan (Attitudde toward using); sikap untuk menggunakan (Attitude toward using) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap niat/minat untuk menggunakan (Behavioral Intention to Use) pada = 0,05. Sedangkan pada = 0,1 variabel Inovasi (Innovativeness) berpengaruh terhadap presepsi kegunaan yang dirasakan (Perceived Usefulness); dan kondisi fasilitas (Facilitating Conditions) berpengaruh terhadap presepsi kemudahan dalam menggunakan (Perceived Ease of Use). Berpengaruhnya pengalaman dan kondisi fasilitas menjadi kunci bagi guru agar mudah menerima dan menggunakan teknologi pembelajaran. Pengalaman juga berkaitan dengan persepsi guru akan kegunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Hal ini mengharuskan guru untuk terus meningkatkan keterampilannya. Pimpinan sekolah dan para pemangku kebijakan juga diharapkan lebih memperhatikan keterampilan guru serta fasilitas yang menunjang pelaksanaan pembelajaran di kelas. Semakin positif dan tertarik guru dalam menggunakan teknologi pembelajaran, maka semakin mudah mereka menerima teknologi tersebut.

Abstract

Artikel ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Hasil belajar siswa sebelum pemanfaatan laboratorium IPA di SMP Negeri 1 Wangi-Wangi, (2) Hasil belajar siswa setelah pemanfaatan laboratorium IPA di SMP Negeri 1 Wangi-Wangi, (3) Pengaruh pemanfaatan laboratorium  IPA terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA di SMP Negeri 1 Wangi-Wangi. Desain penelitin menggunakan desain one group pretest postest, artinya penilaian yang dilakukan untuk mengukur kemampuan siswa dengan cara memberikan pretest untuk mengukur penguasaan konsep peserta didik sebelum perlakuan, dan postest untuk mengukur penguasaan konsep setelah perlakuan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII E SMP Negeri 1 Wangi-Wangi. Tehnik analisis data yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (i) Hasil belajar siswa sebelum pemanfaatan laboratorium IPA memperoleh nilai rata-rata pada kelas postest yaitu 52 berdasarkan kategori hasil belajar berada pada kategori rendah. (ii) Hasil belajar siswa setelah pemanfaatan laboratorium IPA memperoleh nilai rata-rata pada kelas pretest 78,25 berdasarkan kategori hasil belajar berada pada kategori tinggi. (iii) Terdapat pengaruh positif antara pemanfaatan laboratorium IPA terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA, setelah dilakukan uji t diperoleh thitung > ttabel atau 8,33 > 2,042.Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Laboratorium IPA, SMP Negeri 1 Wangi-Wangi

Abstract

This article investigated the enduring value of esoteric wisdom in guiding spiritual seekers through contemporary challenges. Despite the fast-paced, chaotic nature of modern life, esoteric teachings offer critical solutions to existential issues that transcend cultural and historical boundaries. Employing a constructivist paradigm qualitative approach, the research aimed to understand individuals’ behaviors, perceptions, motivations, and actions. It revealed how these teachings aid in achieving inner peace, resilience, and self-awareness. Findings indicated that cultural and spiritual practices, despite being influenced by migration and economic pressures, retain core beliefs that foster identity and continuity. The study concluded that esoteric attitudes, embedded in daily life and rituals, emphasize humility, gratitude, patience, and sincerity. These values provides a solid foundation for individuals navigating modern existential challenges. By integrating these teachings into everyday life, people can cultivate a deeper sense of purpose and connection, offering valuable insights for contemporary seekers. The research underscores the importance of maintaining and revitalizing traditional spiritual practices to address the complexities of modern existence. Ultimately, the study highlights the timeless relevance of esoteric wisdom in fostering spiritual growth and resilience, helping individuals find balance and meaning amidst the uncertainties of modern life.

Abstract

This research addresses the problem of low student interest and learning outcomes in junior high school mathematics. It aims to develop a lift-the-flap mathematics book contextualized with Tolaki local wisdom and Islamic religious values and investigate its impact on students' interest and achievement. The study was conducted following the Research and Development (R&D) framework, specifically the ADDIE model comprising Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation phases for instructional design. The teaching material developed was applied to a Grade VII Junior High School class focusing on numerical topics. Results from data analysis suggested that the material demonstrated a good level of feasibility, scoring 76 percent for media feasibility and 77 percent for content feasibility. Overall, the material was well received by both teachers and students, with positive response rates of 74 percent and 85 percent, respectively. Descriptive analysis indicated a notable increase of 26.43 percent in students' interest in learning mathematics following the use of the lift-the-flap book. Moreover, inferential statistics revealed a significant improvement in students' interest and learning outcomes in mathematics after the implementation of the teaching materials contextualized with Tolaki local wisdom and Islamic religious values. The improvement was statistically significant with a p-value less than 0.05, indicating that the lift-the-flap book has substantial potential in enhancing mathematics education. Based on the results, we recommend further studies to investigate the impact of such culturally-infused teaching materials on other aspects of learning, and exploration of its applicability in other educational levels or subjects.
