Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan minat berwirausaha masyarakat tana toraja melalui pemberdayaan dengan kegiatan wirausaha. Wirausaha adalah proses mengidentifikasi, mengembangkan, dan membawa visi ke dalam kehidupan. Visi tersebut bisa berupa ide inovatif, peluang, cara yang lebih baik dalam menjalankan sesuatu. Hasil akhir dari proses tersebut adalah penciptaan usaha baru yang dibentuk pada kondisi risiko atau ketidakpastian. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah dengan pelatihan membuat keterampilan dalam membuat produk dari bahan buah kunru, yaitu sukade yang diawali dari pengenalan alat dan bahan dilanjutkan dengan pembuatan sukade buah kunru. Setelah kegiatan selesai dilakukan pendampingan termasuk evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis komparatif antara minat berwirausaha sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan dengan Paired Samples Test didapatkan nilai sig. (2- tailed) adalah 0.008 < 0.05 (α = 5%). Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa ada pengaruh kegiatan pemberdayaan dengan kegiatan wirausaha dalam meningkatkan minat wirausaha masyarakat tana toraja. Kata Kunci: masyarakat; sukade buah kunru; kegiatan usaha; minat wirausaha. ABSTRACTThe purpose of this activity is to increase the interest in entrepreneurship in the Tana Toraja community through empowerment with entrepreneurial activities. Entrepreneurship is the process of identifying, developing and bringing a vision into life. That vision can be innovative ideas, opportunities, better ways of doing things. The end result of this process is the creation of new ventures that are formed under conditions of risk or uncertainty. The method used in this activity is training to make skills in making products from kunru fruit, namely sukade which begins with the introduction of tools and materials followed by making kunru fruit sukade. After the activity is complete, assistance is carried out including activity evaluation. The results of this activity are based on the results of the comparative hypothesis test between the interest in entrepreneurship before and after the activity with the Paired Samples Test, the sig value is obtained. (2-tailed) was 0.008 <0.05 (α = 5%). This shows that there is an influence of empowerment activities with entrepreneurial activities in increasing the entrepreneurial interest of the Tana Toraja community. Keywords: society; kundur fruit sukade; business activities; entrepreneurial interest.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTepung sagu adalah tepung yang berasal dari teras batang pohon sagu. Tepung sagu biasa digunakan sebagai salah satu bahan baku kue atau penganan lainnya. Pembuatan kue, sagu biasanya digunakan sebagai bahan pengental karena tepung ini bersifat lengket. Tepung sagu kaya dengan karbohidrat (pati) namun sangat miskin gizi lainnya. Ini terjadi akibat kandungan tinggi pati di dalam teras batang maupun proses pemanenannya. Sagu merupakan makanan pokok bagi masyarakat Indonesia seperti Maluku, Papua yang tinggal di pesisir dan banyak dijumpai di daerah Sulawesi Selatan khususnya di kota Palopo, dan Kabupaten Luwu yang dikenal dengan nama Sagu. Sagu dimakan dalam bentuk papeda, semacam bubur, atau dalam bentuk-bentuk yang lain. Sagu sendiri dijual sebagai tepung curah maupun yang dipadatkan dan dikemas dengan daun pisang. Selain itu, saat ini sagu juga diolah menjadi kue berbagai rasa seperti sinole. Jika usaha ini ditekuni dengan baik, maka akan memberikan kontribusi pendapatan bagi masyarakat Luwu dimasa pandemi Covid-19. Untuk itu, dalam memberikan kontribusi kepada masyarakat, semoga dengan adanya edukasi pengolahan sagu ini, mampu memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat bahwa sagu bisa diolah menjadi berbagai varian rasa sehingga hal ini menjadi referensi bagi masyarakat agar dapat memanfaatkan Sumber Daya Alam yang ada di daerahnya yaitu sagu menjadi nilai ekonomi. Kata Kunci: tepung sagu; sinole; penambahan ekonomi. ABSTRACTSago flour is flour that comes from the terrace of the sago palm tree. Sago flour is commonly used as a raw material for cakes or other snacks. In making cakes, sago is usually used as a thickening agent because this flour is sticky. Sago flour is rich in carbohydrates (starch) but very poor in other nutrients. This occurs due to the high starch content in the stem terraces and the harvesting process. Sago is a staple food for Indonesian people such as Maluku, Papua who live on the coast and can be found in South Sulawesi, especially in the city of Palopo, and Luwu Regency which is known as Sago. Sago is eaten in the form of papeda, a kind of pulp, or in other forms. Sago itself is sold as bulk flour or compressed and packed with banana leaves. In addition, at this time sago is also processed into cakes of various flavors such as sinole. If this business is weel pursued, it will contribute to income for the people of Luwu during the Covid-19 pandemic. For this reason, in contributing to the community, hopefully with this education on sago processing, it will be able to provide an understanding to the community that sago can be processed into various flavors so that this becomes a reference for the community so that they can take advantage of the existing natural resources in their area, namely sago. economic value. Keywords: sago flour; sinole; economic income.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the analysis of the factors that influence customers to make mudharabah deposits at Islamic banks in the city of Palopo. The data collection method used is direct questionnaires which are distributed directly to customers at Bank Muamalat Palopo City. The population in this study were all customers of Bank Muamalat Palopo City and the determination of the sample using the slovin formula technique with a total sample of 98 respondents. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis shows that the profit sharing ratio and promotion costs simultaneously have a significant effect on mudharabah deposits at Bank Muamalat Palopo City.

Abstract

This study seeks to examine educators' communication tactics in instruction to enhance the development of students' critical thinking abilities. This study employs a qualitative methodology utilizing Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis paradigm to investigate three primary dimensions: texts, discursive practices, and social practices. Data were gathered from lesson plan documents, transcripts of classroom exchanges, and instructional materials at the secondary school level. The findings indicate that teachers predominantly employ directive and evaluative communication strategies, however there are encouraging signs of incorporating open-ended inquiries and rhetorical techniques that promote elaboration. Nonetheless, these techniques have not been uniformly implemented throughout the research population. Furthermore, the research of discursive practices uncovered conflicts between the requirements of an exam-centric educational framework and the necessity to cultivate students' critical thinking abilities. The study revealed that discourses regarding standardization and the integrative role of education impact learning at the level of social practice. This research significantly enhances the comprehension of communication strategy dynamics in education and provides recommendations for the reform of educational policy and teacher professional development. The findings are pertinent for equipping pupils to navigate the complexities of the modern world by fostering critical thinking abilities.

Abstract

Masyarakat di Kelurahan Sendana mayoritas pekerjaannya adalah petani. Disisi lain, letakKelurahan Sendana yang sangat strategis di mana merupakan salah satu kelurahan yang ada di KotaPalopo yang berpengaruh baik terhadap bidang pertanian. Letak geografisnya yang berada dilerengpegunungan membuat banyak tumbuhan yang dapat tumbuh di daerah ini termasuk pohon pisangyang masih banyak ditemukan di daerah ini. Melihat peluang yang ada di Kelurahan Sendana inimengenai pemanfaatan pohon pisang, KKN-T Universitas Muhammadiyah Palopo Posko 15berinisiatif untuk mengadakan pelatihan pembuatan keripik dari bonggol pisang. Metode yangdigunakan dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah sosialisasi dan praktik. Sosialisasi tersebutdilakukan agar masyarakat memahami bahwa pemanfaatan bonggol pisang sebenarnya dapatdilakukan untuk meningkatkan perekonomian. Sedangkan praktik yang dilakukan untukmemberikan pengalaman langsung kepada masyarakat tentang bagaimana cara mengolah bonggolpisang, dimulai dari bagaimana cara mendapatkan bonggol pisang, proses pembuatan, pengemasanbahkan metode dan strategi strategi pemasaran.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the contribution of lifestyle, price perception, and product quality to purchasing Oppo mobile phones at the Mulia Cell Store, Palopo City, Indonesia. The study population includes all Oppo consumers at the store, with a sample of 30 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques. This study uses a quantitative approach, with data collection techniques through observation, questionnaire distribution, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS version 26. The results of the study indicate that, (1) lifestyle has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, (2) product quality does not have a significant effect, (3) price perception has a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions, and (4) simultaneously, the three variables have a joint effect on purchasing decisions. This study provides a practical contribution for business actors, especially Mulia Cell Store owners, in developing marketing strategies adjusted to consumer lifestyles, price perceptions, and product quality to improve purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This research investigates how socio-cultural learning process influences students’ experience during and after the COVID-19 pandemic which subsequently influencing their E-Learning performance. 320 valid respondents were recruited for an online survey study. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used to test the research hypotheses. This study found that socio-cultural learning has a crucial role in students’ experience. However, social-cultural Learning has a greater effect on students’ experience. Furthermore, mediator variables, students’ experience, partially mediate therelationship between socio-cultural learning and E-Learning performance. The result of the current study contributes to extend literature education field toward socio-cultural and E-Learning simultaneously. It also develops a new view into the determinants factor to influence students’ experience.

Abstract

This research offers an in-depth examination of the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classroom, with a particular emphasis on teachers' perspectives and the integration of technology. It tackles an expanding research gap concerning educators' perceptions and adaptations to AI as it becomes increasingly prevalent in global education. A systematic review of the literature and a bibliometric analysis were performed using the Scopus database on October 13, 2025, resulting in the identification of 180 records. After applying specific inclusion and exclusion criteria, 41 peer-reviewed journal articles were selected for comprehensive analysis. The analysis, facilitated by VOSviewer, highlighted significant research trends, key institutions, and thematic focal points across various educational levels. The findings indicate a significant increase in publications from 2023 to 2025, with Saudi Arabia and Vietnam identified as prominent contributors. Educators predominantly perceive artificial intelligence as a beneficial tool for personalized learning, efficient lesson planning, and formative feedback. However, concerns remain regarding ethical considerations, reliability, and pedagogical readiness. These trends reflect specific aspects of teacher perception, including technological confidence, instructional adaptability, and perceived institutional support. This review is distinguished by its integration of bibliometric mapping with thematic analysis of studies on teacher perceptions, thereby illuminating both the technological and pedagogical aspects of AI integration. The paper concludes by underscoring the implications for professional development and policy, advocating for evidence-based training frameworks that equip EFL educators for responsible and effective AI adoption.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah ditemukannya informasi ilmiah mengenai keputusan pembelian produk olah sagu dengan memperhatikan beberapa atribut yang melekat pada produk olahan sagu tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode penelitian survei, yaitu penelitian yang mengambil sampel dari suatu populasi dengan kuesioner yang digunakan sebagai alat bantu dalam  pengumpulkan data. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kota Palopo. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan di tiga tempat merupakan daerah pemasaran produk olahan sagu yang dinilai cukup menjangkau responden, yaitu Pusat Oleh oleh, Pusat Niaga Palopo dan Toko Baru. Data hasil penelitian diolah dengan menggunakan analisis multiatribut Fishbein Untuk mengetahui atribut apakah yang dominan dipertimbangkan konsumen dalam keputusan pembelian olahan sagu di kota Palopo. Hasil penelitian ini atribut yang paling dipertimbangkan dalam pembelian olahan sagu di Kota Palopo yaitu pertimbangan utama sampai terakhir oleh konsumen pada saat membeli produk olahan sagu adalah dimulai dari faktor harga, kedua faktor merek, ketiga faktor rasa, Ketiga kemudahan memperoleh, keempat tempat dan faktor kemasan menjadi faktor terakhir dalam penelitian ini.
