Abstract

The covid-19 pandemic has exacted on the global economy, including in Indonesia. The GDP growth rate was reported to be minus 2,07 percent in 2020. South Sulawesi is one of the provinces affected by the covid-19 pandemic. This research tried to examine the influence of Sharia bank financing on Gross Regional Domestic Product before and during the covid-19 pandemic in South Sulawesi. This paper seeks to empirically explore the impact that Sharia bank financing had on the Gross Regional Domestic Product of five cities/districts in the South Sulawesi region (Makassar, Parepare, Bone, Palopo, and Maros) before and during the covid-19 pandemic. The analysis method in this research has used the Weighted Least Square (WLS) regression testing simple. Data were analyzed using panel data for 2017-2021 derived from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) sites and the Central Statistics Agency of South Sulawesi (BPS) sites. This paper proves that Sharia Bank financing has had a positive and significant influence on the Gross Regional Domestic Product of South Sulawesi before and during the covid-19 pandemic, especially in five Regencies/Cities such as Makassar, Maros. Parepare, Bone, and Palopo.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the social and economic landscape around the world, increasing poverty levels and economic uncertainty. In this context, this study adopts a longitudinal approach and a digital economy perspective to analyze the post-pandemic poverty phenomenon. With a focus on Surabaya City, East Java, this study identifies poverty trends, patterns of access to and use of digital technology, and their impact on people's income and welfare. The results show significant fluctuations in poverty levels, with digital technology playing a role in increasing income and access to health and education services. Correlation analysis confirms a negative relationship between the use of digital technology and poverty rates. The findings highlight the importance of investment in technology infrastructure, digital literacy training, and digital inclusion policies to ensure the benefits of digital technology are equitably distributed across society. In conclusion, this study illustrates the important role of digital technology in addressing post-pandemic poverty, providing important insights for public policy and community development practice.

Abstract

This socialization aims to increase brand awareness of MSMEs at Lego-Lego Centre Point of Indonesia, Makassar. This research combines qualitative and quantitative approaches, with the qualitative method involving literature review, interviews with MSME owners, and on-site observations, while the quantitative method involves visitor surveys and statistical analyses. The results show that culinary MSMEs in Lego-Lego CPI Makassar have low brand awareness, with many MSME owners not understanding the importance of branding strategies and marketing aspects. However, the socialisation conducted succeeded in improving their understanding of brand awareness as well as providing practical skills in managing branding. The use of social media, collaboration with influencers, and attractive product packaging proved effective in increasing brand awareness. Based on the results of this study, it is concluded that increasing brand awareness is very important for culinary MSMEs in Lego-Lego Centre Point of Indonesia. Socialisation involving digital marketing strategies, collaboration with influencers, and attractive product packaging can help MSMEs increase their brand awareness. It is recommended that MSMEs allocate sufficient resources for marketing and branding activities and continue to develop knowledge and skills in managing effective branding strategies. Thus, it is expected that culinary MSMEs in Lego-Lego CPI Makassar can develop more rapidly and become major players in the culinary tourism industry..

Abstract

Artikel ini berangkat dari penelitian problematika pergesaran budaya lokal dari penerapan masyarakat khususnya di Desa Marannu, Kecamatan Mattirobulu, Kabupaten Pinrang. Hal ini disebabkan munculnya pemahaman agama dan budaya tidak tersinkronisasi, sehingga artikel ini berupaya menggali pemahaman masyarakat terkait budaya serta berupaya menanamkan nilai moderasi pada Masyarakat. Penelitian ini tergolong penelitian kualitatif lapangan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Community Based Researc yang terdiri dari empat fase laying foundation, planning, information gathering and analysis dan acting on finding. Data dari penelitian ini berupa data primer yang bersumber wawancara, FGD, observasi dan data pendukung. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan, masyarakat Desa Marannu masih terbatas dalam memahami relasi budaya dengan agama, tentu dipengaruhi kualitas pendidikan serta adanya pola al-warasah seperti: mappanre temme, mappalili dan lain-lain. Bahkan berimplikasi pada pergeseran budaya masyarakat. Adapun upaya penguatan pemahaman budaya dalam bingkai moderasi beragama dengan memberi stimulan berupa transformasi pemikiran melalui diskusi terkait moderasi beragama khususnya dalam tinjauan teks agama yang terdiri dari tawassut, tawazun, tasamuh, i’dal, musawah, dan syura serta contoh budaya dan agama yang saling bersinergi dalam tradisi masyarakat Bugis.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of cash flow, net profit, and dividend policy on stock prices in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) companies from 2019 to 2023. The research method uses a quantitative approach with multiple regression analysis. The study results show that Cash Flow positively and significantly affects the Stock Price of companies listed in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) for 2019-2023. This is evidenced by the t-count value (2.389) > t-table (2.080) and the significance value of 0.026 < 0.05., Net Profit has been proven to positively and significantly influence the stock price. This conclusion is supported by the t-count value (2.603) > the t-table (2.080) with a significance of 0.016 < 0.05. The Spearman correlation also shows a strong positive relationship (0.712) with a significance of 0.000. The IV policy shows a positive and significant influence on the Stock Price, as evidenced by the t-count value (2,510) > t-table (2,080) and the significance of 0.020 < 0.05. The Spearman correlation showed a strong positive relationship (0.683) with a significance of 0.000. Moreover, simultaneously, the three independent variables significantly affected the Stock Price. This is shown by the value of F-count (18.147) > F-table (3.07) with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.717 shows that the three independent variables can explain 71.7% of the stock price variation. In contrast, 28.3% is explained by other factors outside the research model that have satisfied all classical assumptions, including normality, multicollinearity, autocorrelation, and heteroscedasticity. The Chi-Square test also confirmed a significant relationship between all independent variables and the Stock Price. Thus, it can be concluded that this research model is valid and reliable in explaining the influence of cash flow, net profit, and dividend policy on stock prices in companies listed in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII).

Abstract

ABSTRACT Islamic banking plays a crucial role as a financial intermediary that not only prioritizes profit but also aims to empower the economic well-being of the ummah. However, in practice, Islamic banks in Indonesia have largely focused on consumptive financing and have yet to fully engage with the microenterprise sector, which constitutes the backbone of the ummah's economy. This study seeks to reconceptualize the intermediary function of Islamic banking through a microfinance lens within the context of an economic transition era characterized by digitalization, socio-economic transformation, and widening financial access inequality. Employing a qualitative-descriptive approach through library research, the study analyzes academic literature, secondary data, and relevant policy frameworks. The findings highlight the strategic potential of Islamic microfinance in reinforcing the ummah’s economy by upholding principles of justice, sustainability, and inclusivity. The implementation of integrated Islamic microfinance models—leveraging Islamic social funds (zakat, infaq, sadaqah, and waqf) and fostering collaboration between Islamic banks and Islamic microfinance institutions (BMTs/LKMS)—can significantly enhance the effectiveness of financial intermediation. The study recommends a paradigm shift from a bank-centric to a community-centric intermediation model, strengthened microfinance regulatory frameworks, and the digitalization of microfinance services to expand outreach to underserved economic segments in a more inclusive and sustainable manner. ABSTRAK Perbankan syariah memiliki peran penting sebagai lembaga intermediasi yang tidak hanya berorientasi pada keuntungan, tetapi juga pada pemberdayaan ekonomi umat. Namun, dalam praktiknya, perbankan syariah di Indonesia masih cenderung terfokus pada pembiayaan konsumtif dan belum sepenuhnya menjangkau sektor usaha mikro yang menjadi tulang punggung ekonomi umat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merekonseptualisasi peran intermediasi perbankan syariah melalui pendekatan pembiayaan mikro dalam konteks era transisi ekonomi yang ditandai oleh digitalisasi, perubahan struktur sosial-ekonomi, dan meningkatnya ketimpangan akses keuangan. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka (library research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui analisis terhadap literatur akademik, data sekunder, dan kebijakan terkait. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pembiayaan mikro syariah berpotensi menjadi instrumen strategis dalam memperkuat ekonomi umat melalui prinsip keadilan, keberlanjutan, dan inklusi. Implementasi model pembiayaan mikro syariah yang terpadu dengan dana sosial Islam (zakat, infak, sedekah, wakaf) dan kolaborasi antara bank syariah dan lembaga keuangan mikro syariah (BMT/LKMS) dapat meningkatkan efektivitas intermediasi keuangan syariah. Implikasi dari studi ini merekomendasikan perlunya pergeseran paradigma intermediasi dari pendekatan bank-sentris ke umat-sentris, penguatan kerangka regulasi pembiayaan mikro, serta digitalisasi sistem layanan untuk menjangkau segmen ekonomi bawah secara lebih luas dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Bisnis kecil dan menengah (UMKM) akan menjadi tulang punggung perekonomian nasional yang paling baik berdasar strategi, mempengaruhi kebutuhan hidup banyak orang.Tujuan pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk mengembangkan pemahaman tentang konsep digital marketing dan untuk memaksimalkan potensi pemasaran mereka.Lokasi Pengabdian ini berada di Kecamatan Patallasang Kabupaten Gowa yaitu para pelaku UMKM hasil kebun rambutan yang biasa berjualan di kawasan tepi jalan raya. Hasil luaran kegiatan ini adalah pelaku UMKM menerima informasi dan pemahaman tentang literasi digital marketing mereka dapat belajar menggunakan teknologi dan meningkatkan omset penjualan dengan menggunakan teknologi dalam pemasaran produk mereka dan juga telah diberikan pendampingan akun sosial media instagram sebagai alat untuk melakukan pengembangan dibidang marketing.
