Abstract

CV Laksana as a bus carrosserie company has an increase in number of employees resign from the company year to year. The highest number of employees resignation occurred in the body & frame division. The number of body & frame employees that come out is caused on body & frame division the type of work performed is heavier, the air temperature is hotter and the risk of workplace accidents is higher when compared to other divisions. To preserve employees, CV Laksana needs to take notice to factors that can affect employee job satisfaction. This study aims to determine the level of employees job satisfaction reviewed by compensation and work environment by comparing the importance of employees and performance of company. The type of research used is descriptive research and sampling uses probability sampling with a accidental sampling of 74 respondents. Data collection uses a questionnaire. This study uses quantitative analysis with validity test, reliability test with the help of Microsoft Excel and SPSS version 23. Data is analyzed using Importance-Performance Analysis. The results of this research shows that all indicators provide satisfaction to employees but there are still indicators that are considered important but performance of company is not good enough.

Abstract

Tujuannya dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tentang proses ekranisasi yang terdapat pada novel Assalamualaikum Calon Imam karya Madani ke dalam film Assalamualaikum Calon Imam karya Findo Purnowo HW karena dalam proses ekranisasi tersebut banyak pengurangan adegan, penambahan adegan maupun perubahan-perubahan variasi di dalam film. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif karena di dalamnya mendeksripsikan tentang bentuk ekranisasi novel Assalamualaikum Calon Imam karya Madani ke dalam film Assalamualaikum Calon Imam karya Findo Purnowo HW. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, kepustakaan dan baca catat. Dari hasil yang diperoleh, terdapat 97 pengurangan adegan di dalam film, 14 penamabahan adegan di dalam film dan 3 perubahan bervariasi di dalam film tersebut.

Abstract

This research aims to synthesize and characterize the complex compounds Hexathiocyanatoiron(II) [Fe(NCS)6] 4- and Tetrapyridinedithiocyanatoiron(II) [Fe(NCS)2(Py)4]. The synthesis of these complex compounds was conducted in the Chemistry Laboratory, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Medan State University, while magnetic susceptibility measurements were carried out using the Magnetic Susceptibility Balance (MSB) instrument in the Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory, Bandung Institute of Technology. The complex compound synthesis involved the reaction of Iron(II) sulfate heptahydrate with Potassium thiocyanate and Pyridine compound in a 1:2 and 1:2:4 molar ratio. The synthesis process was conducted through a direct reaction method in a polar solvent. The obtained results include Hexathiocyanatoiron(II) complex compound, [Fe(NCS)6] 4-, which is pale yellow crystalline with a yield of 32.76%, and Tetrapyridinedithiocyanatoiron(II) complex compound, [Fe(NCS)2(Py)4] which is dark purple crystalline with a yield of 52.62%. These compounds exhibit a melting point of 219℃. Magnetic susceptibility measurements using the MSB instrument revealed a magnetic susceptibility of 6.69 BM (paramagnetic) for the Hexathiocyanatoiron(II) complex[Fe(NCS)6] 4-, and a magnetic moment of 5.61 BM (diamagnetic) for the Tetrapyridinedithiocyanatoiron(II ) complex [Fe(NCS)2(Py)4].

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the impact of Discovery Learning model implementation through a Science-Technology-Society (STS) approach on creative thinking skills among middle school students. A quantitative pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest method was utilized. The study was conducted on a sample of 14 students from Muhammadiyah 4 Porong Middle School, with the instrument being a test of creative thinking skills. Data were gathered through pretest and posttest scores, analyzed using N-Gain test. The result, an N-Gain score of 0.38, indicated a moderate effect of the Discovery Learning model via the STS approach on the students' creative thinking skills. The skills were divided into four indicators: fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Post-intervention, fluency exhibited the highest improvement, followed by flexibility and elaboration, while originality showed the least progress. Despite certain limitations in originality and detail-oriented thinking, the study still provided strong evidence for the efficacy of the combined Discovery Learning and STS approach in enhancing students' creative thinking abilities, endorsing its broader application in education settings to foster creativity. Highlights: Discovery Learning model coupled with the Science-Technology-Society (STS) approach moderately improves students' creative thinking skills. Among the four assessed creative thinking indicators, fluency and flexibility displayed significant improvement. Despite the less notable progress in originality, the combined model's overall positive impact endorses its broader application in education settings. Abstract

Background: Caries is one of the most common dental diseases. Caries prevention by improving dental health has become a major goal in the world of dentistry.Topical application of fluoride is one of the most effective ways to prevent caries.Glass ionomer cement and fluoride varnish has the effect of preventing dental caries because these materials release fluoride. There is no better treatment for demineralization than prevention itself. One of these steps is the combination of dental restorative materials with the application of topical fluoride as an additional source of fluoride.Method: A total of 32 permanent premolar teeth samples, immersed in artificial saliva before and after the application of fluoride varnish and glass ionomer cement. The measurement of fluoride levels in saliva was carried out using a spectrophotometric tool.Result: Independent T-test results obtained sig. below 0.05 indicates that there are differences in the level of fluoride levels between the fluoride varnish group and the glass ionomer cement.Conclusion: Fluoride varnish and glass ionomer cement can increase fluor concentration in saliva
