This study aims to determine the feasibility and student responses, from the development of a Discovery Learning- Based Module that is integrated with scientific literacy. The subject of this research is a module based on the Discovery Learning learning model which is integrated with scientific literacy. The object of this research is the material of chemical equilibrium. This type of research is a development that refers to the ADDIE model. This study uses non-test instruments, non-test instruments used in the form of Validation Sheets that have met the BSNP standards, namely aspects of the feasibility of content, presentation, language and graphics by the validator and student response questionnaire sheets with a scale of five categories. The results of the feasibility validation show that the development of discovery learning-based modules is integrated with scientific literacy in chemical equilibrium material. The average percentage of media expert validators' assessments on content feasibility is 87.32%, presentation feasibility is 88%, language eligibility is 85.28%. And for the average percentage of media assessment on the feasibility of graphics is 93.50% and language feasibility is 88.86%. And on the results of the average percentage of student responses to the attractiveness aspect of 89.6%, the material aspect of 90.6%, the language aspect of 92.6%.

This study aims to analyze the feasibility of using Lectora inspire learning media based on BSNP criteria; the effect of the discovery learning model on learning outcomes and learning outcomes; and the correlation between motivation and learning outcomes with the discovery learning model using the learning media Lectora inspire. This research is development research using adaptation measures in the ADDIE approach. The research in the implementation phase of using Lectora inspire learning media was carried out with Pre-Experiment Designs in the form of One-Group Pretest-Posttest Designs. The sample selection used a purposive sampling technique. The sample studied was 41 students from SMA Negeri 7 Medan. The instruments used were student learning outcomes tests, modified BSNP questionnaires, and student learning motivation questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that through the development of learning with Lectora inspire learning media using discovery learning models on chemical bonding materials: the average feasibility of using Lectora inspire learning media on all BNSP criteria is a very feasible category (content feasibility = 3.75; language eligibility = 3.79; and presentation feasibility = 3.70); its use has an effect on improving student learning outcomes (with an N-gain score of 0.80); learning achievement obtained with the discovery learning model using the learning media Lectora inspire is higher than the KKM with an average posttest score of 88.21; and students' learning motivation correlated significantly with their learning outcomes.

This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) research that aims to develop a problembased learning (PBL) module integrated with science literacy on reaction rate materials. The subject of this study is an integrated PBL-based module of science literacy. The object of this study is the material of the Chemical Reaction Rate. This study refers to the steps, Borg and Gall but is limited to 5 steps or stages. The steps begin with data and information collection, PBL-based module development planning, initial product development, initial field trials, and revision of trial results. The modules that have been developed are validated by 3 material expert validators and 3 media expert validators. Then, the module was tested on 2 teachers and class XI-IPA 2 students totaling 30 students of SMA Negeri 7 Medan. Meanwhile, to see the attractiveness of the module, a data collection method was carried out using a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The results showed that the PBL-based module integrated science literacy on chemical reaction rate materials declared eligible after validation by obtaining an average percentage of material experts of 84.63% with a valid / feasible category and an average percentage of media experts of 84.41% with a valid / feasible category. And it was declared interesting after obtaining an average percentage of teacher responses of 93.45% with a very interesting category and an average percentage of student responses of 86.77% with a very interesting category.

This study aims to determine the linear and significant relationship between mathematical ability and chemistry learning results; chemical analytical abilities and learning result: association between students' chemistry learning outcomes and mathematical skills and chemical analysis abilities. This type of research is causal research with a quasi-experimental research design. Students in this study were given tests in the form of mathematical ability instruments, chemical analysis abilities, and buffer solution tests. This study found a linear and significant relationship between mathematical ability and students' learning outcomes, a linear and meaningful relationship between chemistry analysis ability and students' learning outcomes, and a significant relationship between mathematical knowledge and chemistry ability.

This research aims to synthesize and characterize the complex compounds Hexathiocyanatoiron(II) [Fe(NCS)6] 4- and Tetrapyridinedithiocyanatoiron(II) [Fe(NCS)2(Py)4]. The synthesis of these complex compounds was conducted in the Chemistry Laboratory, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Medan State University, while magnetic susceptibility measurements were carried out using the Magnetic Susceptibility Balance (MSB) instrument in the Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory, Bandung Institute of Technology. The complex compound synthesis involved the reaction of Iron(II) sulfate heptahydrate with Potassium thiocyanate and Pyridine compound in a 1:2 and 1:2:4 molar ratio. The synthesis process was conducted through a direct reaction method in a polar solvent. The obtained results include Hexathiocyanatoiron(II) complex compound, [Fe(NCS)6] 4-, which is pale yellow crystalline with a yield of 32.76%, and Tetrapyridinedithiocyanatoiron(II) complex compound, [Fe(NCS)2(Py)4] which is dark purple crystalline with a yield of 52.62%. These compounds exhibit a melting point of 219℃. Magnetic susceptibility measurements using the MSB instrument revealed a magnetic susceptibility of 6.69 BM (paramagnetic) for the Hexathiocyanatoiron(II) complex[Fe(NCS)6] 4-, and a magnetic moment of 5.61 BM (diamagnetic) for the Tetrapyridinedithiocyanatoiron(II ) complex [Fe(NCS)2(Py)4].

Thinking creatively is a crucial higher-order skill that students must acquire when they graduate from university. This necessitates lecturers designing and developing learning processes that actively engage students while fostering their creative thinking abilities. This study aims to develop and validate general chemistry teaching materials on organic compounds and reactions using the PjBL-STEM model and evaluate their effectiveness in improving students' creative thinking skills. The study employed the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) model. The teaching materials were designed as comprehensive books that adhered to the PjBL-STEM framework. Effectiveness was measured by analyzing improvements in students’ creative thinking abilities through quantitative testing. The results demonstrate that the PjBL-STEM-based teaching materials are valid and feasible for implementation. Their effectiveness in enhancing students' creative thinking abilities was statistically significant (t-count = 32.488; p = 0.000), with an average improvement of 42.725 ± 8.317. The development of PjBL-STEM-based teaching materials offers a valuable tool for chemistry education, effectively promoting creative thinking skills among students. This approach provides a practical framework for lecturers to design innovative, student-centered learning strategies.

This research aims to determine the analysis of the feasibility level and response of students to SAC (Smart Apps Creator) media integrated with project based learning on reaction rate material. The research method used is Research and Development with a 4D development model approach (define, design, development and disseminate). Research data collection is carried out by interviews and questionnaires or questionnaires that are distributed to teachers and students. This research was conducted at SMAS PAB 8 Saentis. The population and samples in this study are chemistry lecturers, teachers and students of grade XI 2 for the 2023/2024 academic year taken by purposive sampling of 30 people. Based on validity, it shows that the SAC learning media developed was declared valid by validators with the criteria of "Very Feasible" with an average validation score of 89.86%, then based on the results of student responses, it was obtained that the SAC learning media developed as a whole received an average percentage result of 83.81% with the criteria of "Strongly Agree". Therefore, SAC learning media integrated with the project-based learning model on the reaction rate material is suitable for use as a learning medium.

The reading and writing habits of SMAN 2 Percut Sei Tuan students are relatively low. Therefore, students' literacy and high order thinking abilities are also relatively low. The implementation of scientific literacy-based learning strategies in the form of making summaries at the end of the learning process is expected to improve students' literacy and high order thinking skills. The instruments used are tests in the form of varied multiple choices and essays totaling 8 and 2 questions. The results of data analysis show that students' initial abilities on the 9 of HOTs-Literacy indicators are very low with an average value of 28.49. The summarizing treatment at the end of the learning process succeeded in improving the ability of HOTs-Literacy students in indicators (1) identifying information and data, (2) using information and data, (3) producing explanatory models, (4) distinguishing questions that can be researched scientifically, (5) formulating hypotheses, (6) making predictions, (7) analyzing data, (8) interpreting data, (9) drawing or presenting conclusions, respectively 63.7 ; 66.7; 68.4 ; 64.0 ; 70.9 ; 70.8; 79.2 ; 81.4 and 86.3 %.

Produksi gula aren merupakan salah satu produk unggulan dari Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan. Produk gula aren selama ini masih dalam bentuk cetakan biasa, salah satu upaya diversifikasi produknya adalah membuat dalam bentuk gula semut. Diversifikasi dilakukan melalui program diseminasi teknologi melalui dehydrator berbahan bakar gas dan optimalisasi daya saing produk sehingga mampu meningkatkan produksi dan hasil usaha. Kegiatan diversifikasi teknologi ini akan mengatasi; (1) penggunaan biaya operasional yang cukup tinggi dalam hal pengeringan dapat diatasi dengan membuat alat kristalisasi gula semut dan alat pengering gula semut, dan (2) meningkatkan nilai jual dan ketertariakan akan kemasan dapat diatasi dengan memilih teknik pengemasan dan penyimpanan gula semut yang baik. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan melalui pendampingan secara bertahap terhadap mitra. Hasil akhir kegiatan secara umum melalui deseminasi teknologi dehydrator berbahan bakar gas mampu meningkatkan produk usaha gula semut dan meningkatkan hasil usaha mitra dengan kapasitas 30 kg/jam. Pendampingan melakukan sertifikasi produk sehingga memenuhi standar kualitas untuk produk gula semut, serta pengemasan melalui penggunaan brand nama usaha dan logo, pemilihan kemasan, perijinan, dan pemasaran merupakan upaya pengembangan usaha lainnya.Keywords: Gula Semut; Dehydrator; Kristalisasi Gula Semut; Diseminasi Teknologi.AbstractPalm sugar production is one of the superior products from South Tapanuli Regency. Palm sugar products are still in the form of ordinary molds, one of the efforts to diversify its products is to make in the form of ant sugar. Diversification is carried out through technology dissemination programs through gas-powered dehydrators and optimization of product competitiveness so as to increase production and business results. This technology diversification activity will overcome; (1) the use of relatively high operational costs in terms of drying can be overcome by making ant sugar crystallization equipment and ant sugar dryer, and (2) increasing the selling value and attractiveness of packaging can be overcome by choosing a good ant sugar packaging and storage technique. The activity is carried out through gradual mentoring of partners. The final results of the activities in general through the dissemination of gas-powered dehydrator technology can increase the ant sugar business product and increase the business results of partners with a capacity of 30 kg / hour. Assistance in conducting product certification so that it meets the quality standards for ant sugar products, and packaging through the use of brand names and logos, the choice of packaging, licensing, and marketing are other business development efforts.Keywords: Ant Sugar; Dehydrator; Crystallization Ant Sugar; Technology Dissemination.

Upaya yang dilakukan adalah memberikan pelatihan bagaimana Standarisasi air minum isi ulang yang sehat dan halal pada depot air isi ulang di Kelurahan Sei Putih Barat Medan Petisah melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu: (1) Pemaparan materi tentang Standarisasi air minum isi ulang yang sehat dan halal pada depot air isi ulang (2) pendampingan sertifikasi halal depot air isi ulang, (3) Review/ Analisis terhadap pelatihan yang telah dilaksanakan serta menarik kesimpulan. Dengan diberikannya pengetahuan dan pemahaman dalam melakukan pelatihan bagaimana Standarisasi air minum isi ulang yang sehat dan halal pada depot air masak isi ulang di kelurahan Dendang Kab Langkat. Kegiatan ini telah dilakukan dengan memberikan penyuluhan dan pendampingan dalam melakukan standarisasi air minum serta sertifikasi halal kepada depot air masak isi ulang. Kegiatan ini juga membantu masyarakat dalam memodifikasi alat filtrasi air sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas air isi ulang sehingga dapat meningkatkan pendapatan depot air isi ulang. Luaran yang dihasilkan adalah menghasilkan depot air yang terstandarisasi dan halal serta artikel yang akan diseminarkan pada kegiatan seminar Nasional LPPM Unimed dan artikel di media masa online Waspada.
