Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari tentang metodepenentuan jenis pelarut senyawa-senyawa organik berdasarkan kajiantermodinamika kimia melalui pendekatan pemodelan molekul dan eksperimen dilaboratorium. Penelitian ini terdiri dari eksperimen melalui pengamatan tekananuap total dan kajian simulasi kompuier menggunakan program Gaussian dengan metode SCF dan DFT. Berdasar hasil penelitian diperoleh beberapakesimpulan sebagai berikut: Interaksi diantara molekul-molekul benzena -toluena mengikuti hukum Raouli, interaksi diantara molekul-molekul benzena -etanol dan asetonitril - metanol tidak mengikuti hukum Raoult, model assosiasiyang terjadi diantara molekul-molekul benzena - etanol adalah [C6H6(CHJCH20H)3] dan campuran asetonitril methanol adalah [CH3CN(CH30H)2] dan [CH3CN(CH30H)4J, selisih energi interaksi antarmolekul menggunakan simulasi kompuier program Gaussian dengan meiodeDFT dari pasangan-pasangan molekul: benzena - toluena sebesar -3.413kf lmol,benzena - etanol sebesar -11.027 kf/mol , benzena - rneianol sebesar -16.541kJ!mol , asetonitril - methanol sebesar -30.456 kJ!mol , dan asetonitril - etanolsebesar -27.305 kf /mol, dan panjang ikatan aniar molekul menggunakansimulasi komputer program Gaussian dengan metode DFT dari pasangan-pasangan molekul: benzena - toluena sebesar 3.43442 A, benzena - etanolsebesar 3.99295 A, benzena - metanol sebesar 2.27763 A, asetonitril - methanolsebesar 1.97414 A, dan asetonitril - etanol sebesar 1.99295 A.

Abstract

Abstract: Analysis of chemical teaching materials for class X SMA/ MA on the discussion of the role of chemistry in daily life. The purpose of this study was to analyze the concept labels and the suitability of teaching materials to the K13 curriculum on the role of chemistry in everyday life and identify those that would cause misconceptions in chemistry books. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The instrument used to obtain the data is the Concept Analysis Table which is adapted to the KD in the K13 curriculum syllabus and reviews that will lead to conceptual errors. The results showed that the number of concept labels analyzed was 20 concept labels in total, the concept labels in book A and book B which corresponded to the 2013 curriculum syllabus were 14 and 18 respectively. The same concept labels between book A and book B amounted to 12, and the concept labels that are only found in book B are 5 and all are in accordance with the K13 curriculum syllabus. Reviews that give rise to conceptual errors in book A contained in the concept label The Nature of Chemistry. While in book B, there are no errors that have the potential to cause misconceptions. This also affects students who will cause misconceptions if the teaching materials used are incomplete in explaining the concepts even though the teacher can explain in detail.Keywords: analysis, textbook, the role of chemistry in lifeAbstrak: Analisis bahan ajar kimia kelas X SMA/MA pada pembahasan peran kimia dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk menganalisa label konsep dan kesesuaian materi ajar terhadap kurikulum K13 pada materi peran kimia dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan mengidentifikasi yang akan menimbukan kesalahan konsep pada buku kimia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data adalah Tabel Analisis Konsep yang disesuaikan dengan KD pada Silabus kurikulum k13 dan ulasan yang akan menimbulkan kesalahan konsep. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Jumlah label konsep yang dianalisis berjumlah 20 label konsep secara keseluruhan, label konsep pada buku A dan buku B yang sesuai terhadap silabus kurikulum 2013 masing-masing berjumlah 14 dan 18. Label konsep yang sama antara buku A dan buku B berjumlah 12, dan label konsep yang hanya terdapat pada buku B berjumlah 5 dan semua sesuai terhadap silabus kurikulum K13. Ulasan yang menimbulkan kesalahan konsep pada buku A yang terdapat pada label konsep Hakikat Ilmu kimia. Sedangkan pada buku B tidak ditemukan adanya kesalahan yang berpotensi mengakibatkaan miskonsepsi. Hal ini juga berpengaruh pada siswa yang akan menimbukan  miskonsepsi jika bahan ajar yang digunakan kurang lengkap dalam menjelaskan konsep-konsepnya walaupun guru bisa saja menjelaskan secara detail.Kata Kunci: analisis, buku teks, peran kimia dalam kehidupanDOI:10.23960/jppk.v10.i3.2021.11

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kesesuaian bahan ajar kimia siswa kelas XI SMA/MA sederajat dan mendapatkan bahan ajar inovatif dan interaktif berbasis konstektual pada materi termokimia untuk siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan bagian dari metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). Bahan ajar yang telah dikembangkan selanjutnya dinilai oleh beberapa validator ahli. Angket dipilih sebagai instrumen untuk menentukan kesesuaian bahan ajar siswa kelas XI SMA/MA dan pengumpulan data hasil validasi yang dilakukan validator. Dari hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa masih terdapat ketidaksesuaian bahan ajar pada materi termokimia yang digunakan dengan siswa kelas XI SMA/MA dan bahan ajar inovatif dan interaktif berbasis konstektual pada materi termokimia yang dikembangkan berada dalam kategori sangat valid tidak perlu direvisi.Kata kunci : Bahan Ajar, Inovatif dan Interaktif, Konstektual, Yermokimia, R&D

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dan menentukan adanya hubungan motivasi terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan sampel 30 orang siswa Kelas X Semester genap MAN 2 Padangsidempuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen tes objektif dan non tes berupa angket. Analisis data dengan menggunakan program SPSS 22 for windows pada tingkat signifikan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis visualisasi hasil perhitungan kimia komputasi pada materi larutan elektrolit dan nonelektrolit dengan persentase peningkatan hasil belajar sebesar 85,64% (tinggi). Hubungan antara motivasi belajar siswa terhadap hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan bahwa korelasinya sebesar 0,595 (korelasi sedang).

Abstract

A research has been conducted to analyze the effect of remedial application on the learning outcomes of high school class XI students on Hydrocarbon material with the aim of knowing: (1) learning outcomes of students who do not apply remedial, (2) learning outcomes of students after remedial treatment, (3) the effect of remedial application on learning outcomes, and (4) students' perceptions of hydrocarbon learning. The results showed that: (1) the average value of the pretest was 62.22. (2) After remedial treatment for 4 times (5 times posttest) the results were obtained: posttest 1 with an average of 75.28, posttest 2 with an average of 72.22, posttest 3 with an average value of 78.18, posttest 4 with an average of 90, and posttest 5 with a value of 70. (3) the effect of remedial on student learning outcomes can be seen from the decrease in students who take remedial classes and also the average value that increases gradually for each remedial class conducted. (4) Based on the results of the questionnaire given, it can be concluded that students in both experimental classes like learning chemistry. This shows that students' motivation towards learning chemistry is quite good.

Abstract

During learning students face difficulties in understanding abstract chemistry topics. Currently there is no appropriate media to be applied in the learning process in order to increase students' abilities. Therefore, a study was conducted using macromedia flash based on computer animation to improve learning outcomes in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Medan Model schools in the Haloalkana sub discussion. This study aims to determine the effect of macromedia flash based on computer animation media on student learning outcomes in the haloalkane sub-discussion and to determine the correlation between the responses given by students to macromedia flash based on computer animation media in the haloalkane sub-discussion. The population of these two samples was taken using random sampling technique, namely class XII IPA 9 as the experimental class and class XII IPA 10 as the control class. The type of this research is quasi-experimental using the pretest and posttest models. Data collection was carried out using multiple choice instruments and response questionnaires. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was an increase in student learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class after the implementation of computer animation-based macromedia flash in the Haloalkana sub-discussion at MAN 2 Model Medan and there was a relationship between the responses given by students to computer animation based macromedia flash media in improvement of learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of 3D-based learning media and molecular animation with SAVI cooperative type on the chemistry learning outcomes of high school students in class X on the subject of electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Sunggal school. The stages of this research are: 1) giving the pre-test at the beginning, 2) the learning process, and 3) giving the post-test. The instruments used in this study were in the form of tests and questionnaires. The results showed that 3D-based learning media and molecular animation could improve student learning outcomes in electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions. The results of the percentage of student responses to 3D-based learning media and molecular animations are 92.42% which is categorized as very feasible to be applied to the learning process of electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menentukan hasil analisis kebutuhan dan kelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis metode komputasi pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit dan disajikan dengan menggunakan Macromedia Flash 8. Penelitian ini menggunakan  instrument  non  tes,  instrument  non  tes  yang  digunakan  berupa Lembar  Validasi  yang  telah  memenuhi  standar  BSNP  oleh  validator.  Hasil analisis kebutuhan diperoleh informasi bahwa tidak ada buku khusus yang menjadi buku panduan dan media yang digunakan hanya sebatas power point untuk menyajikan materi pembelajaran, penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang sangat menonton sehingga membuat siswa sulit untuk memahami materi. Dengan ada nya media pembelajaran berbasis visualisasi 3D yang disajikan dengan macromedia flash 8 akan lebih layak untuk memenuhi kebutuhan belajar dan mengajar dikelas. Persentase  rata-rata penilaian  validator  ahli  media  pada  kelayakan  isi  yaitu  87,50%,  kelayakan penyajian yaitu 86,25%, kelayakan bahasa yaitu 87,50%, aspek kontekstual yaitu 91,66%. Dan untuk persentase penilaian media rata-rata pada aspek pengaruh terhadap strategi yaitu 75,00%, aspek rekayasa perangkat lunakyaitu 80,00% dan aspek tampilan visual dan audio yaitu 85,00%. Mengenai data tersebut diketahui bahwa media pembelajaraan berbasis kimia komputasi yang disajikan dengan macromedia flash 8 layak untuk digunakan

Abstract

Abstract : The aim of the HKSA and Docking analysis was to determine the potential of curcumin analogues as antioxidants for the activity of the tyrosinase enzyme. Predictor calculations were carried out using the hyperchem application with the CNDO semi-empirical geometric optimization method Multilinear regression analysis using SPSS to find the relationship between predictors and the activity of curcumin analogue derivative compounds as tyrosinase inhibitors. The best HKSA equation model is : LogIC50  : -3.195 – (1.135 x HOMO) + (1.064 x LUMO) - (0.239 x LogP) + (0.155 x HE) With a value of R = 0,984; R­2 = 0,969; Adj R2 = 0,948; SE = 0,183; F count  = 10,209; Sign = 0,000. This equation is used to predict new compounds derived from curcumin analogs that can be used as new tyrosinase inhibitors. The parameters for selecting this compound were because it had better activity and LogIC50 values compared to the parent compound. To see the affinity between the new curcumin analogue derivative compound and the tyrosinase enzyme, docking was carried out using Autodock Tools, which was visualized using Biovia discovery studio. The docking results show that the compound 2,5-bis (4-hydroxy 3-allyl benzylidene) cyclopentanone has potential inhibitory activity on the tyrosinase receptor as an antioxidant activity because it has the same amino acid residue as the original ligand (Tyrosine) with the binding energy of the compound 2,5- bis (4-hydroxy 3-allylbenzylidene) cyclopentanone is -5.92 kcal/mol and the Ki value is 46.03 uM, which is better than the binding energy of the compound (Tyrosine) which is -4.96 kcal/mol and the Ki value is 231.77 uM.Keywords: Curcumin, Tyrosinase, Antioxidant, QSAR, Docking DOI: 10.23960/jppk.v13i2.30560

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility and student responses, from the development of learning media using computational methods. The subject of this research is molecular animation using computational methods. The object of this research is haloalkane material. This type of research is a development that refers to the ADDIE model. This study uses non-test instruments, non-test instruments used in the form of Validation Sheets that have met the BSNP standards by validators and Student Response Questionnaire Sheets. The results of the feasibility validation show that the development of animation learning media uses computational methods and is presented using Macromedia Flash. The average percentage of media expert validators' assessments on content feasibility is 88.25%, presentation feasibility is 87.5%, language eligibility is 88.25%, contextual aspects are 88.75%. And for the average percentage of media assessment on the aspect of influence on the strategy is 95%, the software engineering aspect is 92.5% and the visual and audio display aspect is 85%. As well as the results of the average percentage of student responses to learning media that is 92.6%.
