Abstract

In this research, scheduling ad plays on a commercial radio station. Ad plays In this study, scheduling of advertisements was carried out on a commercial radio station. Ads are shown every day from Sunday to Saturday. There are two types of playing time, namely prime time and regular time. Prime time (pt) is 06-10 and 16:00-20:00, while regular time (rt) is 05-06, 11:00-15:00 and 21:00-24:00. The number of ad playback slots is 3 slots per hour and thus for pt time there are 15 slots, where at 16 to 20 hours there are 15 slots, so in total at pt time there are 30 slots per day and for rt time there are 15 slots and 21 hours -23 there are 3 clocks x 3 slots makes 9 slots. So in total at re time there are 27 slots. Prime time rules apply, namely the hours when the general public (listeners) have the greatest opportunity to listen to the radio, namely between 6:00-10:00 in the morning and 16:00-20:00 in the evening. The number of broadcasts of the same advertisement in one day is limited to prime time, which is 5 times, while for regular time it is 8 times. The radio scheduling process is carried out using a genetic algorithm which consists of the processes of chromosome initialization, selection, crossover and mutation. A chromosome represents the chromosomal matrix, namely Ad, Day and Time code. Each chromosome will be evaluated based on its fitness value which is calculated based on the number of penalties that occur on each chromosome in an individual. Where penalty 1 is the number of ad screenings more than once at a time while penalty 2 is the ad playing not at the specified type of time. The results of this study are to produce the best ad schedule by scheduling all ad data, the day and time of ad playing.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based expert system application using the Certainty Factor method to diagnose pests and diseases in rice plants. The system is designed to assist farmers, particularly in the Barus Subdistrict, Central Tapanuli Regency, in identifying and addressing pest and disease issues that frequently affect rice crops. The development process includes analysis, design, implementation, and testing of the application. Testing results indicate that the application successfully identifies pests and diseases with an accuracy rate of 95%, based on comparisons with manual diagnoses provided by experts. Additionally, the application is user-friendly, allowing farmers to easily select symptoms present in their rice plants and receive accurate diagnoses and appropriate solutions. The user-friendly interface further enhances the ease of use. This study differs from previous research in terms of the types of pests, symptoms, solutions, and the research location.

Abstract

Abstract: Modern education integrates technology to enhance learning methods and 21st century skills. In this context, the application of decision support systems (DSS) such as Fuzzy Mamdani and Weighted Product (WP) is important to increase efficiency and objectivity in student majors. This research focuses on the implementation of SPK at SMAN 1 Barumun, Padang Lawas Regency, with the aim of overcoming challenges in assessing complex criteria and uncertainty in decision making. The Fuzzy Mamdani method was chosen because of its ability to handle uncertain data and ambiguity, while WP was used to combine criteria weights in the evaluation. The web-based system being developed is expected to increase the accuracy and efficiency of student majors. Comparison with previous research that only used WP shows that this approach offers a more comprehensive solution by integrating both SPK methods. This research aims to provide more accurate recommendations and support the optimal development of student potential, as well as improve the majoring process with a more sophisticated and efficient system. Keyword: Decision Support Systems, Departments, Students, Fuzzy Mamdani, Weighted Product Abstrak: Pendidikan modern mengintegrasikan teknologi untuk meningkatkan metode pembelajaran dan keterampilan abad ke-21. Dalam konteks ini, penerapan sistem pendukung keputusan (SPK) seperti Fuzzy Mamdani dan Weighted Product (WP) menjadi penting untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan objektivitas dalam penjurusan siswa. Penelitian ini fokus pada implementasi SPK di SMAN 1 Barumun Kabupaten Padang Lawas, dengan tujuan mengatasi tantangan dalam penilaian kriteria kompleks dan ketidakpastian dalam pengambilan keputusan. Metode Fuzzy Mamdani dipilih karena kemampuannya dalam menangani data yang tidak pasti dan ambiguitas, sementara WP digunakan untuk menggabungkan bobot kriteria dalam evaluasi. Sistem berbasis web yang dikembangkan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan akurasi dan efisiensi penjurusan siswa. Perbandingan dengan penelitian sebelumnya yang hanya menggunakan WP menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan ini menawarkan solusi yang lebih komprehensif dengan mengintegrasikan kedua metode SPK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan rekomendasi yang lebih akurat dan mendukung perkembangan potensi siswa secara optimal, serta meningkatkan proses penjurusan dengan sistem yang lebih canggih dan efisien. Kata kunci: Sistem Pendukung Keputusan, Jurusan, Siswa, Fuzzy Mamdani,                    Weighted Product

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to map the crime rate of motorcycle theft in Aek Batu Village, Torgamba District, Labuhanbatu Selatan Regency, using the K-Means Clustering algorithm. This mapping system was developed to classify areas based on crime-prone levels, facilitating preventive actions and security improvements in the region. The data used includes motorcycle theft reports processed into numerical datasets as input for the algorithm. The clustering results classify areas into three categories: high, medium, and low crime levels. The implementation of this system is expected to provide clear information to the public to increase awareness and minimize crime risks. Keyword: K-Means Clustering, Crime Mapping, Motorcycle Theft, Data Mining, Regional SecurityAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan tingkat kriminalitas pencurian sepeda motor di Desa Aek Batu, Kec. Torgamba, Kab. Labuhanbatu Selatan menggunakan algoritma K-Means Clustering. Sistem pemetaan ini dibangun untuk mengklasifikasikan wilayah berdasarkan tingkat rawan kejahatan, sehingga mempermudah pengambilan langkah preventif dan peningkatan keamanan di daerah tersebut. Data yang digunakan mencakup laporan pencurian sepeda motor yang diolah menjadi dataset numerik sebagai input algoritma. Hasil clustering menunjukkan pengelompokan wilayah ke dalam tiga kategori: tinggi, sedang, dan rendah tingkat kriminalitas. Implementasi sistem ini diharapkan memberikan informasi yang jelas kepada masyarakat untuk meningkatkan kewaspadaan dan meminimalkan risiko kejahatan. Kata kunci: K-Means Clustering, Pemetaan Kriminalitas, Pencurian Sepeda Motor, Data Mining, Keamanan Wilayah.

Abstract

This study examines public perception of the performance of Indonesia’s Vice President in 2025 by utilizing opinion data from social media X/Twitter. The research addresses the lack of up-to-date quantitative insights into public sentiment polarity following the inauguration, particularly regarding Gibran Rakabuming Raka, whose appointment has sparked mixed reactions. The objective of this study is to classify sentiments as positive or negative and to evaluate the performance of the classification model on a corpus of user posts. The dataset consists of 898 tweets collected using the hashtags #wapres, #Gibran, and #WapresGibran. Data processing involved cleaning the text, converting all characters to lowercase (case folding), tokenization, normalization, removal of stopwords, and stemming. Feature representation was carried out using Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF), while modeling was performed with the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm. Results show 647 tweets with positive sentiment and 251 tweets with negative sentiment, indicating a generally positive tendency while maintaining some diversity of opinion. The SVM model achieved an accuracy of 80.68%, demonstrating reliable performance on high-dimensional textual data. These findings provide a concise overview of public opinion that can serve as a reference for policymakers and government communication strategies. The study’s main contribution lies in offering empirical evidence from social media on sentiment dynamics toward the Vice President’s performance, while also highlighting the effectiveness of combining TF-IDF and SVM in contemporary political sentiment analysis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan metode Dempster-Shafer (DS) dalam mendiagnosis penyakit paratifoid pada ayam. Paratyphoid, yang disebabkan oleh Salmonella enterica serovar Paratyphi, memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap kesehatan unggas dan produktivitas peternakan. Proses diagnostik sering terhambat oleh kesamaan gejala dengan penyakit lain, membutuhkan metode yang mampu menangani ketidakpastian. Metode DS dipilih karena dapat menggabungkan bukti dari berbagai gejala untuk meningkatkan akurasi diagnostik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian dan Pengembangan melalui tinjauan pustaka, pengumpulan data melalui observasi lapangan dan wawancara ahli, desain sistem, implementasi berbasis web menggunakan PHP dan MySQL, dan pengujian sistem. Data penelitian terdiri dari 12 gejala primer paratyphoid. Sistem ini diuji dengan 25 kasus uji dan mencapai tingkat akurasi 85% dibandingkan dengan diagnosis ahli. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa metode DS secara efektif mengelola gejala yang tidak pasti. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan efisiensi diagnosis penyakit unggas dan berpotensi mengurangi kematian ternak.

Abstract

Abstract:One technique for locating security flaws in information systems is penetration testing. This research aims to design and implement an open-source system that integrates several penetration testing tools to assess the security of the PortalSIA UINSU website. The tools used include Paramspider, Dalfox, Cyberfox, Sqlmap, and Penblood. The system is designed to perform parameter scanning, exploitation, and automatic reporting of test results in a structured manner. The results show that out of five tested URLs, most did not reveal significant vulnerabilities, except for some connectivity issues during the SQL injection testing stage. Abstract

Community Service Program (KKN) is a form of student community service implemented as part of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. This article discusses the implementation of KKN in Pematang Serai Village, Tanjung Pura District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra, with a focus on the role of students in carrying out community service. The background of this activity focuses on how KKN students are able to synergize with the community and support community development in terms of economics, religion, and education. This activity aims to be a means for students to learn so they are able to face problems that occur in the community. The method used is a qualitative descriptive research approach. By actively involving the community in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the program, this study aims to understand in depth how the KKN program has impacted the lives of village communities. The results of this activity indicate that the role of KKN students has had significant benefits for the village community. In its implementation, this also helps students understand the needs and problems of the community directly. The Community Service Program in Pematang Serai Village, which includes the Indonesian Pious Children Festival, Tabligh Akbar, Planting Movement, Fish Seed Distribution, and Compost Making, is a real effort to realize religious moderation, improve environmental quality, and empower the community.

Abstract

Technology is developing very quickly and will continue to increase, so it plays an important role in the process of sending information or data from one device to another. The speed of transmission depends on the size of the data to be sent. Data with a larger size requires a longer delivery time. The amount of storage space required increases as more files are stored. This has led to the development of file shrinking techniques, also known as data compression techniques, with the aim of minimizing the loss of data quality after transmission and reducing the amount of storage space required. Compression techniques have several algorithms that can be used to reduce file size. As in this research, the compression process is done with the run length encoding algorithm and the fixed length binary encoding algorithm. Both algorithms have different compression results, so it is necessary to make a comparison. To make the comparison, 6 grayscale image files with *.jpg extension are used with different resolutions and compare their performance according to predetermined parameters. The compression comparison results of one image data resolution of 300 x 300 in the Run Length Encoding algorithm has a Ratio of Compression (RC) 1.038792, Compression Ratio (CR) 96.266%, Redundancy (Rd) 3.734%, Compression time 399ms, and Decompression time 297ms. While the Fixed Length Binary Encoding algorithm has a Ratio of Compression (RC) of 1.37, Compression Ratio (CR) of 73.248%, Redundancy (Rd) of 26.752%, Compression time of 3258ms, and Decompression time of 1047ms. So from these results it can be said that the better performance in compressing images is the Fixed Length Binary Encoding algorithm compared to Run Length Encoding.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) dalam menerapkan konsep desa inklusif di Desa Perkebunan Dolok, Kecamatan Lima Puluh, Kabupaten Batu Bara. Desa inklusif dicirikan oleh pembangunan yang ramah terhadap semua lapisan masyarakat tanpa diskriminasi terhadap jenis kelamin, agama, ras, etnis, atau kebutuhan khusus. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi lapangan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kehadiran mahasiswa KKN berperan dalam meningkatkan taraf pendidikan dan sosial di masyarakat Desa Perkebunan Dolok. Meskipun terdapat kendala, program kerja KKN berhasil dilaksanakan dan memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat setempat di Dusun 1, 2, dan 3. Kesimpulannya, penerapan prinsip desa inklusif dapat membantu mewujudkan stabilitas dan kemajuan sosial yang berkelanjutan dalam masyarakat.
