Abstract

This UMKM juara program targets participants from entrepreneurs in West Java who are willing to commit to progress and development in the business sector. UMKM will move up a class and utilize technology in business, especially information technology for a wider market. Therefore, a digital public relations publication strategy is needed to produce messages that are easy to understand and effective in delivery to the public. This study aims to analyze the digital public relations strategy in the socialization of the UMKM juara program at the West Java Provincial Cooperative and Small Business Service (DISKUK). This study is a qualitative study using primary data sources, namely the DISKUK JABAR public relations staff. The Instagram account and DISKUK JABAR technical guidelines are secondary data sources. The primary data are the results of interviews with the DISKUK JABAR public relations department. Secondary data is the uploads from the DISKUK JABAR Instagram account. This study used a digital public relations strategy from Holtz (2009) which includes the goals, strategy, objectives, and tactics. The results of the study show that DISKUK JABAR has implemented a digital public relations strategy. The SWOT results show that the stages of the digital public relations strategy have been implemented. Meanwhile, the digital public relations strategy that is still lacking is the strategy and objective stage. This is due to the lack of socialization in activities regarding the accompanying curriculum and the limited human resources in monitoring and evaluation assistance. Therefore, it can cause the implementation of the UMKM Juara program to be less effective

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of dictionaries as repackaged information products at the Library of Universitas Perintis Indonesia. The research employed a qualitative approach using observation and interviews with librarians. The findings reveal that although both physical and digital dictionaries are available and in good condition, their utilization remains low. Dictionaries are only used when required for practical courses and are rarely accessed otherwise. Factors contributing to the low usage include limited promotion, insufficient information literacy, and the lack of integration between the dictionary collection and the academic curriculum. This situation results in the suboptimal contribution of dictionaries to students’ learning processes and information literacy. The study recommends strategies to increase dictionary utilization through active promotion, curriculum integration, information literacy training, and continuous evaluation. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for the development of academic library services, particularly in optimizing repackaged information products to support the learning needs of health science students.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of government policies, especially the Ministry of Education and Culture and Research, in distributing the Indonesia Smart Card (KIP) Lecture scholarship funds to recipient students. KIP Kuliah is regulated in Law No. 12/2012 on Higher Education and strengthened by Presidential Regulation No. 62/2021, which emphasizes the state's commitment to ensuring access to higher education for underprivileged students. However, the implementation of this policy still faces various obstacles, especially the delay in disbursement of funds which has an impact on the administration of tuition payments at universities. This study uses a normative juridical research method, which highlights the factors that cause delays, such as complicated bureaucracy, unclear information, slow campus administration processes, and student non-compliance with channeling bank rules. In addition, the wide scope of recipients and the long data collection mechanism also slowed down the disbursement process. The results show that the effectiveness of the KIP Lecture fund distribution policy is strongly influenced by the synergy between the government, universities, and students in complying with established procedures. Improving bureaucracy, increasing coordination, and educating students are the keys to optimally achieving the objectives of the KIP Lecture program

Abstract

Each country forms its own state system. So each country has varying characteristics, this is in accordance with the conditions that affect the country itself. From a historical, cultural, social, and political perspective. Understanding the state system of another nation requires comparison. This study will compare the government systems of Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam and the principles of their distribution of power. This study uses normative juridical research techniques to disseminate relevant rules or laws and literature such as mass media, bold journals, expert opinions, and books. Although located in Southeast Asia, Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam have separate governments. According to the 1945 Constitution Article 4 paragraph (1), the president is the head of state and head of government in Indonesia, and the king or sultan holds absolute power in Brunei Darussalam. Indonesia follows the trias politica Division of power and checks and balances with equal power for the legislative, executive, and judicial institutions to supervise and unify each other. Brunei Darussalam also has executive, legislative, and judicial institutions, but all obedience is due to the Sultan, particularly the executive and legislative branches, in which the Sultan participates in these authorities. The system of government and the division of power serve to maintain the relationship between citizens and the state. This is crucial for making governance more efficient and effective. In the context of a constantly evolving world, these two countries must continually adapt to current developments and improve the quality of governance to achieve the well-being of their citizens.
