Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategy for preparing the Madrasah Activity and Budget Plan (RKAM) based on the results of the Education Report Card evaluation at MAS Al-Ihsan Boarding School Riau. The method used is descriptive qualitative through observation, interview, and documentation study techniques. The results show that the RKAM preparation process begins with the implementation of Madrasah Self-Evaluation (EDM) conducted every September, involving various stakeholders such as the principal, treasurer, vice principals, administrative staff, operators, and school committee. RKAM has been based on the Education Report Card, where quality evaluation data is used as the basis for determining program and budget priorities. Fund allocation is calculated based on the number of students at IDR 1,500,000 per student per year, which is then distributed according to the operational needs of the madrasah. Monitoring is carried out periodically through weekly, monthly, and semester reports, with supervision from the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Nevertheless, there are still deficiencies in the RKAM document, such as the absence of success indicators, implementation timelines, root cause analysis, and identification of main problems. This study recommends systematic document improvements to continuously improve the quality of planning and budget accountability.

Abstract

This study aims to explore technology-based motivation strategies in enhancing employee performance, particularly in the digital era and within the context of Islamic educational institutions. Using a library research approach and reviewing the latest academic sources, the findings reveal that digital tools such as performance dashboards, e-reward platforms, and online evaluation systems can significantly improve employees' intrinsic motivation and work ethics. These strategies are reinforced by motivation theories such as expectancy theory (Vroom) and goal-setting theory (Locke & Latham), and contextualized with Islamic values including amanah (trust), muhasabah (self-evaluation), and uswah hasanah (exemplary leadership). Digital work systems not only improve efficiency but can also function as spiritual instruments that strengthen sincerity and intention in work. This study implies that digital transformation must be framed within ethical and spiritual values to ensure meaningful and humane work motivation.

Abstract

Conflict is an inherent aspect of organizational life, including within Islamic educational institutions. While often viewed negatively, conflict can foster innovation and performance improvement if managed effectively. This study aims to identify appropriate conflict management strategies for Islamic educational institutions through a literature review of conflict and negotiation theories. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, utilizing library research from various academic sources. The findings indicate that strategies such as SWOT analysis, win-win solutions, and integrative negotiation can be harmonized with Islamic values such as tabayyun (clarification), islah (reconciliation), and ukhuwah islamiyah (Islamic brotherhood). The integration of modern management theory with Islamic principles proves effective in facilitating fair, constructive, and sustainable conflict resolution. These insights are expected to serve as practical guidance for educational leaders in managing conflicts wisely and professionally.

Abstract

Madrasah Self-Evaluation (EDM) is one of the essential instruments within the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) that functions to measure, map, and continuously improve the quality of education in madrasahs. In practice, however, EDM implementation is still frequently regarded as a mere administrative activity, resulting in evaluation outcomes that have yet to be optimally utilized as a basis for decision-making and institutional development planning. This study aims to analyze the strategic role of EDM in optimizing madrasah quality assurance. The research method employed is library research, with data analyzed through content analysis techniques. The findings indicate that EDM plays a strategic role as an instrument for quality mapping, identification of institutional strengths and weaknesses, and a foundation for the preparation of the Madrasah Work Plan (RKM) and Madrasah Work and Budget Plan (RKAM). Furthermore, EDM supports data-driven decision-making, the strengthening of a quality culture, and continuous improvement in educational management. Optimization of EDM implementation can be achieved through enhancement of human resource competencies, strengthening of the Madrasah Quality Assurance Team, utilization of digital technology, and increased stakeholder participation. Accordingly, EDM functions not merely as an evaluative instrument, but also as a critical strategy in realizing effective, accountable, and quality-oriented madrasah governance on a sustainable basis.
