Abstract

Aktifitas fisik yang tidak memadai pada anak usia sekolah dapat menimbulkan masalah tumbuh kembang di masa depan. Rendahnya aktivitas fisik diikuti dengan tingginya kasus obesitas yang dapat meningkatkan risiko masalah kesehatan. Program berjalan kaki dan bersepeda ke sekolah dirancang sebagai alternatif program penanggulangan masalah rendahnya aktivitas pada anak. Penelitian dilakukan secara quasi eksperimen selama 3 bulan terhadap 100 siswa sekolah dasar di kota Depok. Hasil implementasi menunjukan program ini memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap perubahan IMT siswa (P value=0,004) dan peningkatan kebiasaan dari 1x/minggu di minggu pertama observasi, dan meningkat sampai 4x/ minggu dengan kemaknaan perubahan signifikan (P value=0.000). Program ini dapat diterapkan menjadi program kebugaran sekolah bagi siswa yang bertempat tinggal radius ± 3 Km dari sekolah. Bersepeda memberikan pengaruh yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan berjalan kaki dalam penurunan IMT pada anak. Kebiasaan berjalan kaki dan bersepeda ke sekolah terbukti dapat meningkatkan aktivitas fisik pada siswa dan memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap penurunan IMT siswa dengan obesitas.

Abstract

The Exposure to The Promotion of Dairy Substitute for Breast Milk and Maternal Motivation As a Factor for Exclusive Breastfeeding. The importance of exclusive breastfeeding has promulgated in health programs, laws, and regulations by Indonesia's Government. However, the rate of exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia is still low, especially in DKI Jakarta. This research conducted to determine the correlation between maternal motivation to breastfeed exclusively in DKI Jakarta. This type of research is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. Retrieval data performed on 100 mothers who have babies aged between 7 to 24 months in DKI Jakarta using the consecutive sampling method by filling out an online questionnaire. From this research, it obtained that there was there is a significant correlation between maternal motivation with exclusive breastfeeding (p0,000>α0,005) with OR=6,7667 (95%CI:2,702-16,947) where the high motivation in giving breast milk 6.77 times more potential to be able to give her baby exclusive breastfeeding.

Abstract

Abstract Injuries are global health threat because 7% of deaths are caused by injuries. The results of basic health research (2013) showed that the incidence of injuries that occurred at home as much as 36.5%. Behavioral factors that include knowledge, attitudes and skills of family and school-age children related to injury prevention affect the incidence of injury in school-aged children. Injury prevention strategy is done with the Symbol Model using video animation involving family. This study aims to provide an overview of the application of Model Sandi (Simbol Andi) in the prevention of injury to the family. The design of this study is a case study. The number of research samples are 10 families taken through purposive sampling technique. This research was conducted for 6 months. The results of the study showed that there was a change of knowledge, attitudes and skill of the family as well as the increasing of family independence level. Intervention Model Sandi is expected to be one of the approaches of family nursing interventions in solving the problem of risk of injury in school-aged children.

Abstract

Introduction: Indonesia reported the first case of COVID-19, the coverage of routine immunization to prevent diseases in children such as measles, rubella, and diphtheria is decreasing. For example, diphtheria, pertussis and tetanus (DPT3) and measles and rubella (MR1) immunization coverage rates were reduced by more than 35% in May 2020 compared to the same time period in the previous year. Objective: To analyze the fulfillment of immunization coverage during the Covid-19 pandemic. Method: The method used is a systematic review taken from various sources from several online databases at the University of Indonesia library, including Pro quest, Science Direct, Scopus, and Emerald Insight, literature searches using keywords by determining inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: From the online database search results obtained, 10 journals were taken for analysis, the results of information about the impact of immunization coverage on children during the COVID-19 pandemic, and conducted an analysis of the published literature so that the impact of decreasing immunization coverage during the COVID-19 pandemic occurred thoroughly in various countries. This is due to national-scale restrictions in each affected country. Conclusion: Based on a systematic review of articles containing information about the impact of immunization coverage on children during the COVID-19 pandemic, and synthesizing the published literature so that the impact of decreasing immunization coverage during the COVID-19 pandemic occurred in various countries.

Abstract

Tahapan usia remaja identik dengan pembentukan identitas diri pada tugas perkembangan sosial dimana keluarga sebagai lingkungan sosial utama bagi remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan perkembangan sosial remaja di SMP Taruna Bhakti Depok menggunakan desain deskriptif korelatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan 293 sampel yang terdiri dari kelas VII dan VIII SMP dengan teknik pemilihan sampel proportioned stratified random sampling. Instrumen Pola Asuh yang digunakan diadaptasi dari kuesioner penelitian Mashoedi serta instrumen Perkembangan Sosial yang disusun oleh peneliti. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan perkembangan sosial remaja (p=0,000) dengan kesimpulan remaja dengan pola asuh demokratif berpeluang memiliki perkembangan sosial sesuai dibandingkan dengan tipe pola asuh lainnya. Oleh karena itu, diharapkan agar mahasiswa, pelayanan dan profesi keperawatan dapat bekerja sama dengan instansi terkait dalam memberikan edukasi dan motivasi kepada orang tua dalam meningkatkan peran orang tua terhadap perkembangan sosial remaja.  Kata kunci: Remaja, pola asuh, prkembangan sosial Abstract Influence of Authoritative Parenting Pattern on Adolencence Social Development. The stage of adolescence is identical with the self-identity building in the task of social development whereas family plays role as the main social community for them. This research aims to understand the relationship between parenting pattern and the social development of adolescents in SMP Taruna Bhakti Depok by using correlative descriptive design. This study uses 293 research samples consisting of class VII and VIII SMP with sample selection technique proportioned stratified random sampling. The parenting pattern instruments are adapted from Mahshodie’s while the research and adolescent social development questionnaire compiled by researcher. The result of the analysis shows that there is a relationship between parenting pattern and adolescent social development (p = 0,000) with the conclusion that adolescents with democratized parenting pattern tend to have the appropriate social development category compared with other parenting types. Therefore, it is expected that students, services and nursing professions can work together with school agencies to be able to provide education and advocacy to parents related to the role of parenting to the social development of adolescents. Keywords: Adolescent, parenting style, social development

Abstract

Pandemik Covid 19 menyebabkan anak usia sekolah mengikuti pembelajaran secara online di rumah. Pembelajaran online meningkatkan durasi anak duduk di depan layar handphone atau laptop. Kondisi ini menyebabkan anak menjadi jaran bergerak sehingga durasi latihan fisik berkurang selama di rumah. Latihan fisik yang tidak teratur dapat menjadi salah satu faktor peningkatan berat badan anak. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan sebagai bentuk promosi kesehatan latihan fisik dalam asuhan kelompok anak usia sekolah dengan gizi lebih dan obesitas dalam masa pandemi Covid 19. Sejumlah 31 anak sekolah dasar di Kelurahan Limo, Kota Depok mengikuti kegiatan promosi kesehatan secara daring dan luring sebanyak 8 sesi selama bulan Maret-Juni 2021. Hasil akhir kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai mean pengetahuan dari 5,71 menjadi 8,26 dan keterampilan latihan fisik dari 5,29 ke 7,45 setelah promosi kesehatan. Pengabdian masyarakat yang telah dilakukan dapat menjadi rekomendasi untuk perawat komunitas untuk bekerja sama dengan pihak sekolah dalam mengembangkan program latihan fisik di rumah  kesehatan  pada anak usia sekolah dalam masa pandemi.

Abstract

The number of imprisoned women continues to increase. Imprisonment of women affects them as perpetrators of crime and those who have relationships with and ties to them, such as children. This phenomenological study aims to explore the experience of imprisoned women in Jakarta in playing the role of mother. In-depth interviews were conducted to explore the experiences of seven imprisoned women. Through a thematic content analysis, we identified specific keywords, the results revealing the sadness, anxiety, and feelings of guilt experienced by imprisoned mothers in relation to their child-rearing. Imprisoned mothers also experience difficulties in meeting their children's needs, together with inadequate child-rearing facilities. The situation experienced by imprisoned women influences their family relationships, which can lead to family crises. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for professional collaboration between judicial institutions, community nurses, academics, and related parties, increasing the attention paid to imprisoned mothers and children affected by maternal incarceration. Abstrak Pengasuhan Anak oleh Wanita di Penjara: Kesedihan, Kecemasan, dan Perasaan Bersalah. Jumlah wanita yang dipenjara terus mengalami peningkatan. Pemenjaraan bagi perempuan tidak hanya memengaruhi perempuan sebagai pelaku kejahatan, tetapi juga pada subyek yang memiliki hubungan dan ikatan dengan perempuan tersebut, salah satunya adalah anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengalaman wanita yang dipenjara di Jakarta dalam mengasuh anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam terhadap tujuh wanita yang dipenjara. Melalui analisis konten tematis kata kunci yang ditemukan dalam transkrip wawancara disusun dalam kategori, sub tema, dan tema. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan kesedihan, kecemasan dan perasaan bersalah yang dialami oleh ibu yang dipenjara dalam pengasuhan anak. Para ibu yang dipenjara juga mengalami kesulitan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan anak dan fasilitas pengasuhan anak yang tidak memadai. Situasi yang dialami oleh ibu yang dipenjara memengaruhi hubungan dalam keluarga sehingga menghadapi krisis keluarga. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi untuk kolaborasi profesional antara lembaga peradilan, perawat komunitas, akademisi, dan elemen terkait untuk meningkatkan perhatian bagi ibu dan anak yang dipenjara yang terkena dampak hukuman penjara ibu. Abstract

The development of a child is a fundamental part of human development; this emphasizes the architecture of a person's brain formed at the beginning of life, which comes from genetic and environmental influences. There are two important factors that influence a child's development, namely genetic factor and environmental stimulation factor. Stimulation has an important role in the growth and development of children because the child's brain develops very quickly when it is stimulated. The main task of a family that determines the child's ability is on the task of family in every stage of family development. This study aims to determine the correlation between knowledge of family development tasks and the application of developmental stimulation in preschool-aged children. The research design used was quantitative research with a correlational descriptive method and a cross sectional study approach. The data obtained from 242 respondens and then analyzed using bivariate analysis (chi-square test). After analyzing the data, the results showed that the value of p=0.000 (<α 0.05). Hence, there is a significant correlation between knowledge of family development tasks and the application of developmental stimulation in pre-school-aged children. Families who have good knowledge of family development tasks have the ability to perform developmental stimulation 22.6 times greater than families who have less knowledge. Family knowledge about good family development tasks will have an impact on meeting children's needs. The children who get good stimulation could have a better impact on their development. The result of this study is expected to be the basis for Community Nurses who work in primary health services to be able to carry out promotive and preventive efforts with a family approach.

Abstract

The problem of undernutrition among toddlers is still a problem that cannot be resolved properly. The role of the family in overcoming the problem of undernutrition is very necessary because toddlers are dependent on nutritional requirements. Therefore, efforts are needed to overcome this problem by increasing the provision of appropriate nutritional education for toddlers so that toddlers avoid the problem of malnutrition. This research aims to determine the extent of the influence of providing nutrition education on mothers' knowledge and behavior in fulfilling nutrition for toddlers. The research design used a "Quasi experimental pre-post test design with control" design with 37 respondents in the intervention group and 37 control groups. This research was carried out by providing intervention to 37 families of toddlers, especially education about toddler nutrition and looking at the effect on changes in mothers' knowledge and behavior in fulfilling toddler nutrition. The nutrition education intervention was provided over 4 meetings and continued with assistance through home visits over 2 meetings. The results of the research show that there is an influence between providing nutrition education on family knowledge and behavior. This data can be used as material for consideration by community nurses in providing education about nutrition in an effort to increase mothers' knowledge and behavior in fulfilling nutrition for toddlers to avoid malnutrition problems.
