Abstract

Main roads are public infrastructures that serve to connect various areas. With the increasing daily volume of transportation mode usage, infrastructure development has become a necessity, especially for land transportation facilities. HR. Muhammad Street is classified as a type 6/2 T road, with two lanes separated by a 2-meter-wide median; each lane is 2.5 meters wide for two lanes and 2 meters wide for one lane in each direction. The technique applied in this research is a quantitative method based on the PKJI 2023 guidelines. Information was obtained from both primary and secondary data. Primary data refers to information gathered from surveys, while secondary data refers to supporting information obtained from previous journals. The research findings indicate that the peak hours for vehicle U-turns are at 16:45 – 17:00 for passenger cars, 12:00 – 12:15 for heavy vehicles, and 16:15 – 16:30 for motorcycles. The peak vehicle volume occurs on Wednesday evenings from 16:00 to 18:00 WIB, where degree of saturation reaches 0.93, which falls into Level of Service E.

Abstract

Babat-Bojonegoro Road, located directly in front of the Babat Traditional Market in Lamongan, is a 2/2-UD type road with a total width of 11 meters and a lane width of 5.5 meters. This road frequently experiences congestion, especially during peak hours such as in the morning and late afternoon, due to high activity levels around the market area. This study aims to evaluate the performance of this road segment using observational methods based on the Indonesian Highway Capacity Guidelines (PKJI) 2023. The analysis shows that the highest traffic flow reaches 2,842 vehicles per hour, with a traffic volume of 1,614.2 pcu/hour. The side friction is categorized as high, with 700 events per hour. The road capacity is recorded at 2,184 pcu/hour, with a free-flow speed of 32.76 km/h and an average travel speed of 24 km/h. Travel time is around 58 seconds. The degree of saturation is 0.73, and the level of service is rated C, indicating stable flow with limited maneuverability.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the types of pavement damage, calculate the road damage index, and determine appropriate maintenance actions using the Bina Marga method. The study was conducted over a 5.6 km stretch of road, divided into 23 segments. Based on visual survey data and Average Daily Traffic (ADT), the damage index for each segment was calculated. The analysis results show that the road segments experienced varying levels of damage, with the lowest condition score recorded at 4 and the highest at 9, indicating road conditions ranging from moderate to severe. Specifically, 39.13% of the segments (9 out of 23) were categorized as having minor damage, 47.83% (11 segments) as moderate damage, and 13.04% (3 segments) as severely damaged. The recommended maintenance strategies include routine and periodic maintenance, with priority given to segments scoring below 6. The findings are expected to support local authorities in planning effective and timely road maintenance, thus enhancing road safety and user comfort.

Abstract

Project delay is one of the impacts of decreased performance, and this can result in schedule setbacks and other forms of losses that will be experienced by service providers and service users. The purpose of this research is to find the optimum duration in accelerating the duration for delays of 10%-40%. In the Airlangga University Soetandyo Building Construction Project, there was a deviation in field realization progress of -9.210% and the cause of the initial delay was deep foundation work. What if is one method or strategy that can help project delay management by adding workers and increasing working hours on jobs in the critical path that are experiencing delays. As for the 10% delay, 78 additional workers and 19 additional working hours were obtained, for the 20% delay, 223 additional workers and 25 additional working hours were obtained, and for the 30% delay, 205 additional workers and 39 additional working hours were obtained

Abstract

The Grand Eastern Surabaya housing development project is one of the housing projects owned by East Park Regensi which is the second stage of development of the Eastern Park Residence housing. The study aims to identify risks relevant to the Grand Eastern Surabaya housing construction project. The study used validity tests and reliability tests with the help of IBM SPSS software to determine the suitability of risk variables and to know the consistency of the risk variable in the Grand Eastern Surabaya housing construction project. Using the severity index and the probability impact matrix methods, it was found that there are 2 risks with very low categories, 10 risks in low Categories, 4 risks for medium categories and 6 risks of high categories.

Abstract

Margomulyo Street is in Asemrowo District, which is an area in West Surabaya that is famous for its industrial and warehouse complexes. The dense traffic of heavy vehicles such as trailers and other logistics trucks around industrial areas is the main cause of road pavement structures becoming susceptible to damage, including cracks, holes, and deformation. To maintain the pavement structure at the planned service level, a series of actions are called maintenance and repair. Therefore, to evaluate more deeply the condition of the road pavement, the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method is used. Based on the results of the visual survey, there are several damages and percentage values, namely Weathering and Raveling (46,94%), Rutting (26,35%), Alligator Cracking (11,68%), Corrugation (5,17%), Longitudinal & Transverse Cracking (3,36%), Block Cracking (3,20%), Depression (1,30%), Potholes (1,07%), Patching & Utility Cut Patching (0,66%), Bleeding (0,24%), dan Edge Cracking (0,04%). And based on the results of data analysis, the PCI value on Margomulyo Road is 56.21% (Good).
