<![CDATA[The research aims to find the classification types of code switching and code mixing in twivortiare 2 novel then describe the influencing using types of code switching and code mixing in the novel. Descriptive qualitative method are used as the methodology in this research which means classify types of code switching and code mixing every sentences clearly through the dialogue of the novel. The research focused on the types of code switching (inter-sentential, intra-sentential, and tag-switching) and types of code mixing (insertion, alternation, and Congruent Lexicalization) while combine with influencing of used it. The results of the research many utterance are most of utterance using code mixing – insertation and code switching – intra-setential. ]]>

<![CDATA[The research aims to determine the effect of vocabulary mastery on students' English descriptive writing skills and the impact of reading habits on students' English descriptive writing skills, as well as the effect of vocabulary mastery and reading habits together on students' English descriptive writing skills. The population in this study was students of class X State Senior High School in Cibinong and the sample was 120 students. The sampling technique was processed using a simple random sampling method. Descriptive statistical methods were used in this research. The research instrument used was a questionnaire on students' vocabulary mastery, reading habits, and a descriptive text writing skill test. Data analysis used SPSS version 25, the significant level of = 0.05. The requirement analysis use normality test, homogeneity test, two-way ANOVA. The result of this research is vocabulary mastery by the value of sig. = 0.77 < 0.05 does not have a significant effect on students' descriptive text writing skills, reading habits have a significant influence on students' descriptive text writing skills by the value of sig. = 0.01 < 0.05 and there is no significant effect of vocabulary mastery and reading habits on students' writing skills by the value of sig. = 0.01 < 0.265.]]>

<![CDATA[The objective of this research is to find out how multiple personality of dr. Jang Choel shown in Partners for Justice Movie Season 2 and the cause of the multiple personality disorder. This research uses descriptive qualitative method and library research. The writers found out that the real personality of dr. Jang is kind a warm person, but he will show his other personality which is dr.K if he remembers his childhood traumatic. The cause of his multiple personality disorder is physical abuse that performed by his mother. He also experienced traumatic of closed and dark place because he always locked by his mother in the bathroom when he made a mistake.]]>

<![CDATA[The objective of this research is to find out and analyze the types of conversational implicature and the maxim violation in Beauty and the Beast movie. Beauty and the Beast movie was directed by Bill Condon and released in 2017. The method used to conduct this research is descriptive qualitative method. To analyze the types of conversational implicature and the maxim of violation, the writers retrieved the theory from P.H.Grice. Grice states that there are two types of conversational implicature and there are four maxims in cooperative principles. The result of this research indicates that: (1) There are two types of conversational implicature occured in Beauty and the Beast movie; those are generalized conversational implicature and particularized conversational implicature. The most common types of conversational implicature that occur in Beauty and the Beast movie is generalized conversational implicature, (2) There are four maxim which violated in Beauty and the Beast movie; those are maxim of quality, quantity, relation and manner. The most violated maxim in Beauty and the Beast movie is maxim of quantity.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of learning motivation and vocabulary mastery of the argument text writing skills of students, the influence of learning motivation of the argumentative text writing skills of students, the influence of vocabulary on the argumentative text writing skills of students.This study used survey method. The subjects were all students of class XII in private senior high school in Kabupaten Serang. Data was collected by distributing a questionnaire and giving examination to writing. The data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination and regression analysis. Statistical test using the T test and F test study was conducted in November 2015 - January 2016.The results showed: (1) there is a significant effect of vocabulary mastery and learning motivation towards writing skills of argumentative English text. This is proven by the Sig = 0.018 < 0.05 and 7.749 Fμ, (2) there is a significant influence on the vocabulary skills of argumentative English text. This is proven by the Sig value by 0.008 < 0.05 and 3.953 tμ, (3) there is a significant influence on the learning motivation towards writing skills of argumentative English text. This is shown by the Sig value 0.004 <0.05 and tμ 5.288.]]>

<![CDATA[The research aims to know the student’s ability to write English essays using recount text through online media learning conducted ten students in the tenth class of Rumah Belajar Yayasan Cinta Anak Bangsa (RB-YCAB). The research does online media learning; virtual synchronous learning for material explanation and self-directed asynchronous learning to do the exercises. The research is using qualitative research methods. The data is obtained through several observations and some trials to get results of pre-test and post-test scores. The results show that: (1) Recount text through online media learning helps students’ writing skill can be incredibly effective. (2) Learning recount text through online media learning is coherent and help students in sharpening their memories. (3) Writing ability can improve by the results of the improvement in pre-test and post-test scores. Based on those improvements of a student’s writing ability using recount text through online media learning at Rumah Belajar Yayasan Cinta Anak Bangsa (RB-YACB) is effective.]]>

<![CDATA[The COVID-19 pandemic has made the government to issue a policy that all teaching and learning activities are carried out through online learning. Changing the face-to-face learning process into an online learning process is a challenge for teachers. Teachers are required to present an interactive online learning process like they usually do in face-to-face learning. This study aims to examine the students’ perception of using media mentimeter and google classroom in learning listening at Bina Sarana Informatika University. This research was conducted using quantitative methods. The sample of this study was third semester students in the listening for specific purposes course . Data collection was done through questionnaire. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for teachers in choosing media in online learning and for improving the quality of the online learning.]]>

<![CDATA[The analysis aims to find how sexual harassment appears, impacts sexual harassment, and feminism influenced the main character in Camp X-Ray movie. The method of this analysis is the descriptive qualitative method. The writer uses the sexual harassment theory by Kirillova and the feminism theory by Wicaksono dkk. The data about sexual harassment are taken from Camp X-Ray movie directed by Peter Sattler. The result of this analysis is sexual harassment appears, impacts of sexual harassment are frustrating. Feminism in this film focuses on fighting for women’s rights. <![CDATA[Learning media in the digital era must be aligned with technological developments. The learning media chosen must be interesting and attached to students. The Tik Tok application is currently popular with many people, including the students of administrasi bisnis department, Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika. Departing from these reasons, the researchers took the initiative to implement the Tik Tok application as a medium interesting and fun learning in delivering material in English for Business courses. This study aims to find out how effective the Tik Tok application is in improving the speaking skills of students majoring in business administration at the Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika. Qualitative method is used for analyzing the recorded video on Tik Tok application that were produced by the students as well as processing of questionnaires on student views regarding the use of tick tock media in learning in English for Business courses. The result indicated that the use of the Tik Tok application is considered quite effective in developing students' speaking skills. This can be seen from the results of the recordings sent to lecturers, students are more relaxed and not tense when speaking English using Tik Tok. This was also corroborated by the results of filling out the questionnaire which stated that the Tik Tok application was an innovation in learning English, which made students more relaxed and enjoyed the teaching and learning process and eliminated the mindset that learning English is difficult. ]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to analyze the use of artificial intelligence platforms that can be used to convey writing subjects. This research used a mixed-method design that combines quantitative and qualitative approaches. This research aims to test the effectiveness of AI in teaching writing involving 30 high school students around the Kalideres RPTRA as samples. Quantitative data is obtained through pre-tests and, post-tests and surveys to measure English writing skills and students' perceptions of using AI in learning writing. Qualitative data was obtained through interviews. The findings of this research show that Artificial Intelligence technology can used as a medium in developing English language learning for students, especially writing skills. This research applies AI platforms, namely Gencraft and ChatGPT. The research results show an increase in writing skills after using AI. These findings support that using AI is effective in learning English, especially writing skills. The data analysis results show that the output Sig = 0.00 means that the pre-test and post-test averages differ. The application of Gencraft and ChatGPT media is effective in improving student's writing skills. Learning effectiveness with Gencraft and ChatGPT media can also be seen from the average pre-test score of 71,47 and post-test of 46,81, which shows that learning outcomes have increased. Observations made during the learning process using Gencraft and ChatGPT media revealed that the average student's writing ability was in a good category and was improving, as evidenced by the students' work in writing descriptive texts.]]>
