Abstract

Glukomanan merupakan suatu bahan baku alternatif untuk bahan dasar hidrogel yang biasanya dibuat dari turunan minyak bumi. Sumber glukomanan dapat diperoleh dari umbi porang yang tersedia melimpah di Indonesia. Salah satu metode pembuatan hidrogel adalah dengan deasetilasi glukomanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi NaOH dan rasio tepung porang murni dengan volume larutan NaOH terhadap daya gembung (swelling) hidrogel. Tahapan penelitian terdiri dari pembuatan tepung porang, pemurnian tepung porang, deasetilasi, dan analisis daya swelling hidrogel. Konsentrasi NaOH untuk penelitian ini yaitu 0,01;0,1; dan 1 M, dan variasi rasio tepung porang murni dengan volume larutan NaOH yaitu 0,01 gram/mL; 0,02 gram/mL; 0,03 gram/mL; dan 0,05 gram/mL. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh daya swelling maksimum hidrogel didapat sebesar 1162,17% pada rasio 0,03 gram/mL dan konsentrasi NaOH 0,01 M. Pengaruh konsentrasi NaOH terhadap daya swelling didapatkan semakin besar konsentrasi larutan NaOH maka daya swelling semakin kecil, sementara daya swelling pada berbagai rasio massa tepung terhadap volume larutan pada berbagai konsentrasi NaOH memiliki kecenderungan yang sama Kata kunci: deasetilasi, glukomanan, hidrogel, larutan NaOH

Abstract

 Bahan pengemas plastik yang beredar di masyarakat sulit untuk didegradasi oleh alam. Edible film dari pati umbi suweg dengan pewarna dan rasa secang sangat memungkinkan untuk meminimalisir pencemaran lingkungan, mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan umbi suweg, serta pemanfaatan secang sebagai pewarna sekaligus perisa. Tujuan penelitian ini mengetahui pengaruh penambahan ekstrak secang dan berat pati terhadap sifat mekanik edible film yang dihasilkan. Edible film dibuat dengan cara menambahkan sejumlah pati kedalam campuran air dan ekstrak secang bersuhu 70 0C dan dilakukan pengadukan selama 15 menit dengan menjaga suhu konstan pada 70 0C . Pati yang ditambahkan bervariasi 3, 4, 5, 6 dan 7 gram dalam 100 ml campuran air dan ekstrak secang. Ekstrak secang yang ditambahkan bervariasi 2,3,4,5, dan 6 ml dalam setiap 100 ml campuran. Selanjutnya larutan ditambah plasticizer gliserol sebanyak 20% (b/b pati). Larutan edible film dicetak dengan menggunakan teflon, dioven pada suhu 600C selama 8 -12 jam, dan didinginkan. Edible Film selanjutnya diuji sifat mekaniknya yaitu kuat tarik, modulus elastisitas, dan elongasi menggunakan Universal Testing Machine (UTM). Hasil penelitian didapat kekuatan tarik dan modulus elastisitas tertinggi dimiliki oleh komposisi 7 gram 4 ml ekstrak yaitu 30.73 Pa dan  422.42 Pa, sedangkan elongasi sebesar 10.63 % pada komposisi 6 gram 6 ml.Kata kunci: Edible Film, Karakteristik Sifat Mekanik, Umbi Suweg, Secang,

Abstract

Penyusutan dalam sebuah usaha atau perusahaan sangat berpengaruh besar dalam keberlangsungan pembayaran pajak terutang sebuah usaha dengan adanya jasa penilaian pada pengukuran aset tetap yang menyesuaikan dengan nilai wajar yang dimiliki oleh aset tetap, maka dalam hal ini dibutuhkannya suatu penelitian untuk sejauh mana penerapan perlakuan akuntansi aset tetap pada perusahaan dapat meringankan beban pajak sesuai dengan standar akuntansi perpajakan yang berlaku di Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat Usaha Dagang (UD) Arjuno apakan sudah menerapkan penyusutan aset tetap sesuai dengan Undang-Undang Perpajakan yang berlaku. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan cara wawancara, observasi, serta dokumentasi secara langsung pada pemilik Usaha Dagng (UD) Arjuno. Dan dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa Usaha Dagang (UD) Arjuno belum sama sekali menerapkan penyusutan aset tetap, apalagi menurut Undang-Undang Perpajakan ini dikarenakan kurangnya pemahaman pemilik tentang penyusutan dan metode penyusutan aset tetap menurut Undang-Undang perpajakan.

Abstract

E-KTP (KTP-el) is a state document that must be owned by every citizen who has been aged 17 years or has married or been married. every citizen has only 1 E-KTP card in which there is a Population Identity Number (NIK). NIK became the sole identity number for public service affairs (Law Number 24 of 2013 About Amendment To Law Number 23 of 2006 About Population Administration). However, the implementation of E-KTP is still not maximized, one of the problems is the lack of socialization and information on E-KTP to citizens. As the result of a poll conducted by e-ktp.com up to the beginning of 2016, it was found that 58.0% of people complained about the lack of socialization and information on E-KTP, and only 3.0% -9.0% expressed satisfaction with the socialization and information which exists. In fact, until the middle of 2016 there are about 22 million inhabitants scattered in various areas that have not done recording E-KTP. Therefore the authors try to make multimedia animation in the form of public service ads to provide education and explain how the process of making and the E-KTP for the community. The design of multimedia animation using Luther-Sutopo version of multimedia development method with 6 stages is concept, design, collecting material, assembly, testing and distribution.

Abstract

Model Desa Konservasi (MDK) merupakan pilot project pemberdayaan masyarakat di sekitar kawasan konservasi yang  dimaksudkan sebagai upaya perlindungan dan pelestarian kawasan konservasi dengan melibatkan masyarakat secara partisipatif agar tercipta hubungan yang harmonis antara kelestarian kawasan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat sekitar kawasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai implementasi Program Model Desa Konservasi yang selama ini terlaksana di Taman Wisata Alam Lejja. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptifkualitatif dalam membahas fenomena yang terjadi dalam proses implementasi Program Model Desa Konservasi yang selama ini terlaksana di Taman Wisata Alam Lejja. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa implementasi program pemberdayaanmasyarakat di melalui Program Model Desa Konservasi  secara umum dinilai belum berhasil. Rendahnya tingkat produksi dan pemanfaatan peralatan yang tidak digunakan secara maksimal oleh KTH Anggrek . Oleh karena itu perlu meningkatkankapasitas SDM pendamping sehinggamampu membangun kerja sama dengan berbagai pihak baik instansi terkait maupun antar anggota dalam kelompok itu sendiri.

Abstract

This community service is carried out together with the Gayo Lues District Education Office. The purpose of this activity is to improve the speed counting skills and junior high school teachers in Gayo Lues, so that each teacher can become an agent of change in improving students' fast counting skills. The implementation of the activity began with a pre-test, discussion of partner problems, mentoring and training, review and evaluation by giving rewards to participants who get the best score. The results of the initial pre-test showed that the math teachers' ability to count quickly in Gayo Lues district was still low, where only 22.5% of the teachers were able to solve the questions according to the time given. However, after training and mentoring, more teachers were able to solve quick arithmetic questions according to the set time (75%). Although the level of accuracy is still low.

Abstract

Abstract Introduction: Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disorder characterized by hyperglycemia caused by B cell dysfunction, insulin resistance, or both. Indonesia and worldwide have an increasing incidence that leads to a significant socio-economic burden. The effective treatment of Type 2 DM with minimal side effects is still challenging. This research aims to identify phytochemical properties in ethanol extract of Mangifera quadrifida and the effectivity as an alfa-glucosidase inhibitor beneficial to research on the treatment of type 2 DM. Method: Mangifera quadrifida was extracted by ethanol as solvent. The phytochemical analysis is conducted by phytochemical screening methods and thin-layer chromatography (TLC). The antidiabetic properties in ethanol extract of Mangifera quadrifida is tested by inhibitory activity on alpha-glukosidase. Result: The ethanol extract of Mangifera quadrifida contains tanin, triterpenoid, flavonoid, and glycoside. TLC test on the ethanol extract of Mangifera quadrifida was detected 4 points (Rf 0,15; 0,464, 0,511; and 0,63). The IC50 to α-glucosidase of Mangifera quadrifida and the acarbose as positive control are 18,19 ppm and 4,88 ppm respectively. Discussion: Tanin, triterpenoid, flavonoid, and glycoside of Mangifera quadrifida have antidiabetic properties. The result on IC50 value in ethanol extract of Mangifera quadrifida is among the active class of antidiabetic group although the value is higher the acarbose. Conclusion: Ethanol extract of the Mangifera quadrifida has phytochemical compunds that have antiadiabetic potential. Acarbose has better IC50 to α-glucosidase compared to Ethanol extract of Mangifera quadrifida.

Abstract

Partial Discharge is one of the phenomena that occurs in the electric power system, which is characterized by the phenomenon of heat which will disrupt the insulation system. If this phenomenon is left for a long time, it will disrupt the process of distributing electricity, even stopping the process of distributing electricity. Partial discharge testing can be tested in 2 ways, namely conventional using coupling and conventional using electromagnetic methods, optical methods, acoustic methods, and chemical methods. Moisture testing in part in this study uses a non-conventional method with the electromagnetic method. The electromagnetic method used is the Rogowski Coil with ferrite and non-ferrite cores. Each Rogowski Coil core has an inner diameter of 1.2 cm, an outer diameter of 2.5 cm, a height of 2.5 cm and a total of 10 turns. The results of the partial sweat test show that the non-ferrite core Rogowski Coil responds faster than the ferrite core Rogowski Coil. As for the sensitivity level of the second core used for partial discharge testing, it can be seen that the Rogowski Coil with a ferrite core is more sensitive than the non-ferrite core with a sensitivity value of 11.63%.

Abstract

Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) merupakan Pembangkit energi alternative yang banyak digunakan pada saat ini, di mana sumber energinya tidak akan pernah habis, untuk menunjang kinerja sistem PLTS tersebut dibutuhkan akumulator yang berfungsi sebagai penyimpan muatan listrik dengan kapasitas sebesar 12 Volt, 105 Ah. dengan Low Voltage Disconnect multisistem 12 Volt sebagai protector. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisa kerja akumulator terhadap sistem protector LVD multisistem 12 Volt pada saat pengisian dan pengosongan pada pembangkit listrik panel surya. Metode yang dilakukan mulai dari proses pengisian dan pengosongan pembangkit listrik panel surya serta pengambilan data dan evaluasi. Hasil percobaan yang didapat sudah di rancang dan mampu menganalisa kerja akumulator terhadap sistem protector LVD multisistem pada saat pengisian dan pengosongan pembangkit listrik panel surya dengan kapasitas yang bervariasi.

Abstract

Several studies have predicted the molecular interactions of the active ingredient of Spirulina platensis as an anti-inflammatory compound. However, these interaction studies did not review the modulation of the NF-κB activation pathway, which involves various factors. This study demonstrated the potential of the bioactive compounds of S. platensis for modulating immune function by reducing inflammation through the inhibition of the NF-κB activation pathway. Phycocyanobilin was predicted to have good potential for molecular docking with multisubunit IκB kinase (IKK)1/IKKA, IKK2/IKKB, NF-κB-inducing kinase, and the IκBα/NF-κB complex. Furthermore, β-carotene exhibited good potential for interactions with NF-κB essential modulator/IKK and the NF-κB complex, and α-glucan had the potential for interactions with COX-2. Therefore, supplementation with S. platensisand its bioactive compounds is expected to provide optimal benefits.
