Abstract

Nowadays, moral education or character education is seen as something urgent. Moral education in Indonesia is inseparable from civic education. The events that occur in our county hasinspired and reminded the nation of the importance of education for the human character. Multidimensional crisis has affected the material and spiritual development of this nation. In such conditions, it is culture that is often seen to be violent, or corrupt. When there is an opportunity, there will be demonstration of anarchists, or anti- establishment. There is even an imbalance between reason and emotion. It is known that without moral education everything that is done will not bebeneficial to the nation and the country. One of the added values of character education is it can be implemented in real life. The values that have been studied in college are to be realized in life. As stated by Thomas Lickona that character education is character education by itself because itinvolves the aspects of knowledge (cognitive), feeling and action. The question is how moral values can be implemented in our daily lives? Keywords: Character education, implementation, moral values, citizens

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

The study was carried out in Pangaringan Village, which is a producer of Jenitri seeds that are shipped to China and India. The buyer sets both the price and the quality; Jenitri seeds that the buyer deems subpar are sold for extremely low prices. The purpose of this study is to expand on the health advantages of Jenitri seeds by creating accessories with a variety of styles and combining them with other locally available natural components. This study employed a participatory descriptive research design, wherein the research team creates possibilities for craftspeople to develop. The findings of the study demonstrate that other materials, including wood, stone, bone, and others, can be used to design Jenitri seeds. A distinct appearance is produced by the mix of materials with Jenitri seeds, including the accessory's color scheme. It takes constant passion and creativity to create this design in line with different societal advancements. As a result, this study highlights the value of strong moral character in Jenitri seed farmers, who are also artisans. It is implied that growers have other revenue streams, such as sales of accessories and exports of raw materials (Jenitri seeds that haven't been turned into accessories). In addition to attending seminars and exhibits, growers make the most of the interim period between planting and harvesting by putting different types of janitri seed accessories into practice.

Abstract

This study investigates the essential yet frequently ignored function of trust in data governance networks for poverty alleviation programs in Garut Regency, Indonesia, based on Actor-Network Theory (ANT). The research employed a qualitative method which included 35 in-depth interviews with government officials from Social Service, Regional Planning Agency, and Baznas together with beneficiary community members and Focus Group Discussions with Regional Government Organizations and Village Heads. The research demonstrates that poor trust between human actors (government-community) and non-human actors (Poverty Data) creates major obstacles for essential poverty alleviation programs including Non-Cash Food Assistance and the Family Hope Program. The main obstacles that emerged during the study included strong sectoral egos, uncoordinated and non-unified data systems and unclear data management transparency practices. According to ANT "translation" analysis the network faces important challenges at interest and enrollment stages which prevent successful mobilization. The research reveals two potential trust-building approaches through the productive training provided by Baznas and the local Lapad Ruhama initiative, but success depends on better coordination and community participation. The research contributes new understanding through its analysis of poverty alleviation networks using ANT while addressing a major theoretical and empirical gap about data governance in Indonesia. This study proposes three practical recommendations to boost poverty alleviation program effectiveness in Garut Regency: data integration improvement, inter-organizational synergy promotion, continuous community empowerment training and enhanced data  verification transparency through community involvement.

Abstract

Inclusive education was introduced in 2003 as a government initiative to deliver harmonious, equal, and just educational services to Indonesia's heterogeneous population. By 2022, 36,000 educational institutions had embraced it. Regulations are issued regularly to guide its implementation, including Law No. 20 of 2003 on the National Education System (Chapter IV, Articles 5 and 32), Minister of National Education Regulation No. 70 of 2009 on Inclusive Education, and Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Decree No. 56/M/2022 on Curriculum Implementation Guidelines emphasizing diversification. Examining inclusive education in elementary schools is critical to developing a viable model for its implementation in junior and senior high schools. However, field research demonstrates discrepancies between regulations and real practices. This study focuses on public elementary schools in Bandung, with both education providers and recipients. The research takes a qualitative approach, examining regulations and implementation recommendations for inclusive education in elementary schools. The findings indicate that inclusive education in public elementary schools has not been implemented following rules and guidelines.
