Abstract

Covid 19 cases began to appear in Indonesia in early 2020, the government imposed a Distance Learning (PJJ) policy for elementary to college students during the pandemic. This policy leads to several changes related to the students’ learning methods including its learning motivation. Parents or guardians play an important role in the continuity of learning during a pandemic. This study aims to explore the role of parents in fostering student learning motivation during the covid-19 pandemic. The method used is the Mixed Method with concurrent embedded strategy. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documents. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and by creating thematic codes for the responses of the participants. The result shows that the role of parents in growing motivation to learn at MI is very influential on students' learning motivation because the higher the student's learning motivation, the higher the role of parents in it. The obstacles experienced by parents in motivating students are influenced by the condition of students, the busyness of parents, environmental factors, lack of parental knowledge of the material being taught, and the internet network.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kajian kitab Taklim Al-Muta’alim di lingkungan pesantren kaitannya dengan upaya menanggulangi krisis akhlak di kalangan remaja. Seperti diketahui bahwa remaja adalah generasi yang menentukan eksistensi bangsa kedepan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah triangulasi sumber data dan triangulasi teknik. Data yang sudah terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pesantren At-Taufiqiyah telah mengajarkan kitab Taklim Al-Muta’alim dan mengontekstualisasikan nilai-nilai akhlak dalam kitab tersebut dengan perilaku remaja saat ini. Pendidikan akhlak yang terdapat dalam kitab Ta'limul Muta'allim Thariq Al-Ta'allum karya Syaikh Burhanuddin Az-Zarnuji memiliki enam kriteria yaitu 1) Niat dalam belajar. 2) Memilih ilmu, guru dan teman. 3) Memuliakan ilmu dan ahli. 4) Kesungguhan dalam Mencari Ilmu, beristiqamah, dan cita-cita luhur. 5) Tawakal. 6) Wara.

Abstract

Islamic education has memperhati comprehensive human-kan, the Islamic education in terms of human attention-faceted; spiritual terms, in terms of sense (intellectual), and enthusiastic grow well in terms of physical and appropriate, in order to carry out the tasks that have been entrusted to humans. Attention Islam in terms of physical education is a human deliver on physical health in general, and basic knowledge about health, and care of diseases. Physical education is one of the aspects of Islamic education that need attention. Moreover, physical man will be held accountable on the Day of Judgment. Worship is conducted by humans is the right of Allah, which He has created this universe with regular system and beautiful, even Allah created man with the best of shape. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to measure the difference in the average increase in reading comprehension ability of fifth grade students in Indonesian language subjects who studied using the Extending Concept Through Language Activities (ECOLA) method with students who studied using the scientific approach. This study was a quasi-experimental study with the Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The sample of this study was students of grades V-A and V-B of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Misbah, Bandung City. The data collection technique used was a reading comprehension ability test. The data analysis technique used an independent t-test with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that students' reading comprehension ability before and after applying the ECOLA method increased by 79.90% with the interpretation category "effective". Students' reading comprehension ability before and after applying the scientific approach increased by 68.91% with the interpretation category "quite effective". The researcher concluded that there was a significant difference in the average increase in reading comprehension ability of fifth grade students who used the Extending Concept Through Language Activities (ECOLA) method and the scientific approach.

Abstract

Low Qur'an reading skills can be caused by several factors, such as lack of teacher competence, limited learning time, ineffective learning methods, and an unsupportive family environment. This study aims to determine the Qur'an reading skills of fifth grade students of MI Al-Misbah, Bandung Regency using the Al Baghdadi method. This study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) with two cycles, each cycle consisting of two actions with four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection with a mix method approach, namely qualitative and quantitative. Data were collected through observation, reading tests, and documentation. The results showed that there was an increase after applying the Al Baghdadi learning method, in cycle I, the classical completion rate of students reached 42% with a sufficient category. However, in cycle II, the classical completion rate increased to 81% with a very good category. It can be concluded that the use of the Al Baghdadi learning method is effective in improving the Qur'an reading skills of fifth grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Misbah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difference in the average results of the ability to read the Quran fifth grade students in the subjects of Al-Quran Hadith, this study uses quasi-experimental design with non-equivalent control group design. The population of this study was all fifth grade students of one of the MI in Bekasi regency for the 2023/2024 academic year. The study population was 15 experimental class students and 15 Control class students. Data collection through the ability to read the Quran. The test instruments in this study were developed by applying expert judgment. Data analyzed by T test showed that the value of t = 10.089 and the value of GIS. (2 - tailed) = 0.00 < 0.05 then Ho is rejected. This means that there is a difference in the average increase in the results of the ability to read Al-Quran fifth grade students in the subjects of Al-Quran Hadith using the method of UMMI with Iqra method. The average value of N-Gain control class is 0.28 with low criteria. While the experimental class is equal to 0.36 with medium criteria. So it can be concluded that this study using the results of the ability to read the Quran UMMI method is one alternative to make it easier for students to improve the results of reading the Quran.
