Abstract

This study aims to determine the suitability of teaching materials in the textbook Senang Belajar Matematika 4 with the ability of students' mathematical understanding which is the reference in this analysis is an indicator of mathematical understanding ability. This research is a descriptive analysis type of research by taking the object of textbook Senang Belajar Matematika 4 as the data source. The data collection technique uses observation by filling out the observation sheet. Data analysis using content analysis and documentation analysis. Based on the results of this study, it shows that the teaching materials contained in the textbook Senang Belajar Matematika 4 are compatible with indicators of mathematical understanding, namely: 1) re-conveying the concepts that have been learned, 2) classifying objects based on the requirements that must be met to form a concept, 3) applying the concept in a systematic form, 4) presenting the concept in mathematical form, and 5) connecting a concept with other concepts. The textbook Senang Belajar Matematika 4 also refers to the 5M in the 2013 curriculum scientific approach.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuihasil belajar kognitif siswa sebelum dan sesudah memakai model example non example serta bagaimana aktivitas pembelajaran gugu ketika menggunakan model tersebut.Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar kognitif siswa sebelum diterapkannya model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe examples non examples nilai rata-rata keseluruhan siswa hanya mencapai 42 yang berarti bernilai rendah. Dan hasil belajar setelah menggunakan tipe example non example di siklus 1 menjadi 73 yang berarti predikat baik, dan pada siklus 2 menjadi 86 dengan predikat sangat baik. Begitu juga dengan aktifitas guru dan siswa meningkat pada setiap siklusnya.Hasil observasi aktivitas guru pada siklus I sebesar 84% artinya baik, pada siklus II menjadi 97% artinya sangat baik, sedangkan untuk aktivitas siswa pada siklus I sebesar 77% artinya baik, pada siklus II sebesar 95% artinya sangat baik.

Abstract

Learning Fiqh in class IV MI Hayatul Islam Cileat was monotonous which affected to lower cognitive learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the Probing Prompting type of Cooperative Learning can improve students' learning outcomes. This research was Classroom Action Research. The results of the mean score before using Probing Prompting was 57.72. In the first cycle, the teacher's activity was 79.99% while the second cycle was 89.99%. The students' activities in cycle I 79.99%, cycle II 89.99%. Student cognitive learning outcomes after using the Cooperative Learning model type Probing Prompting Learning cycle I 70.34 cycle II 82.27. The accomplishment in Cycle I 54.54%, Cycle II 95.45%. The study concluded that the Cooperative Learning type Probing Prompting model could improve student cognitive learning outcomes in fiqh subjects.

Abstract

This research-based on the findings that elementary school students already have mathematical critical thinking skills but have not reached the whole stage of the skills. Critical thinking skills of mathematics is essential for students because critical mathematical thinking can solve the problems and as a consideration to make decisions. This research aims to: (1) explore the critical thinking skills of mathematics of the subject of the volume of cubes and beams; (2) to determine student's difficulties in solving mathematical critical thinking skills test questions on the subject of the volume of cubes and beams. The research used a case study method of 28 students in one of the Islamic elementary schools in Bandung Regency. The data collected in the form of qualitative data obtained through tests of mathematical critical thinking skills, interviews, and document analysis. Data analysis techniques used thematic analysis by analyzing students' learning trajectory. The results showed that most students were still in the low category in the ability of critical thinking. As for the difficulties experienced by students, namely in providing simple explanations and working on problems that are not systematic. For this reason, the improving of students' mathematical critical thinking skills need further research.

Abstract

Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini guna meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa dalam mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI) menggunakan strategi firing line. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang berlangsung dengan dua siklus, dimana pada masing-masing siklus meliputi beberapa langkah, diantaranya perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, serta refleksi. Dalam penelitian ini yang dijadikan sebagai subjek yaitu siswa kelas V-B MI Plus Darul Hufadz Jatinangor yang berjumlah 38 orang siswa. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yakni strategi firing line dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI), hal tersebut terlihat dari nilai rata-rata hasil belajar kognitif siswa serta persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal. Nilai rata-rata siswa pada tahap pra siklus sebesar 36,53 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal 0%, pada siklus I nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 71,37 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal 63,16%, sedangkan pada siklus II nilai rata-rata siswa sebesar 81,79 dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal 84,21%. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membentuk solusi baru untuk memecahkan permasalahan dalam aktivitas pembelajaran terutama pada mata pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI).

Abstract

Covid 19 cases began to appear in Indonesia in early 2020, the government imposed a Distance Learning (PJJ) policy for elementary to college students during the pandemic. This policy leads to several changes related to the students’ learning methods including its learning motivation. Parents or guardians play an important role in the continuity of learning during a pandemic. This study aims to explore the role of parents in fostering student learning motivation during the covid-19 pandemic. The method used is the Mixed Method with concurrent embedded strategy. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documents. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and by creating thematic codes for the responses of the participants. The result shows that the role of parents in growing motivation to learn at MI is very influential on students' learning motivation because the higher the student's learning motivation, the higher the role of parents in it. The obstacles experienced by parents in motivating students are influenced by the condition of students, the busyness of parents, environmental factors, lack of parental knowledge of the material being taught, and the internet network.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application on the word method to the beginning reading ability of grade 1 students in the Indonesian language subject. This study applies the word method with the indicators used, namely reading letters, distinguishing initial sounds, reading meaningful words, and reading comprehension. This study uses a class action research method (CAR). Data collection techniques used are in the form of observation, tests, and documentation. The subjects of this study were 16 students in grade I SDN Babakan 04 who were in Babakan village, Karangpucung sub-district, Cilacap district. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that 1) Students' initial reading ability before the application of the word method was still in the very poor category with an average of 51.56 students' initial reading ability and 37.5% classical learning completeness percentage with the “Less Once”. 2) The results of students' initial reading ability after the application of the word method, from those before the application of the word method got an average of 51.56 with a percentage of 37.5% to 74.21 with a percentage of 81.25% after two cycles of using the method say.

Abstract

The ease of Science and Technology must be balanced with digital literacy skills because it is one-factor affecting student learning achievement. Digital literacy functions to have the ability to access, manage, understand, and evaluate information safely and quickly through digital technology to become wiser. This study aims to look at students' digital literacy skills and learn achievement and determine how much influence digital literacy has on student learning achievement. The research method used is a correlation with a quantitative approach, and the sample is taken from classes IV, V, and VI, with as many as 50 students. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire for digital literacy and documentation for learning achievement. Then the data analysis technique used the product-moment correlation test. The results of this study indicate that students are good at understanding digital literacy. Students' understanding of digital literacy on internet skills, such as utilizing digital technology to find information and learning resources. There is a significant positive relationship between digital literacy and learning achievement, and it is obtained that an r count of 0.440 is included in the medium category. It is shown that digital literacy skills influence 19.36% of student learning achievement, and the remaining 80.64% is influenced by other factors that are not related to this study.

Abstract

The outbreak of the Corona Virus Disease Pandemic or better known as COVID-19 has caused several changes in aspects of life throughout the world, including changes in aspects of education in Indonesia. In the educational aspect, this condition requires teachers and students to interact through online media. The basic objectives of this study are to see (1) how the use of youtube media in learning mathematics at MIN 2 Kuningan, (2) how students' higher order thinking skills in learning mathematics at MIN 2 Kuningan and (3) how the relationship between the use of youtube media on thinking skills high level of students in learning mathematics at MIN 2 Kuningan. The approach in this research is a quantitative approach. The data figures are obtained from the results of statistical analysis using SPSS 20 for windows. The method uses the correlation method with the type of quantitative descriptive research data. The research location is Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) 2 Kuningan. The results of this study (1) The use of Youtube media in learning mathematics at MIN 2 Kuningan is Potential by 69.45% in the Good category, Practical by 69.43% in the Good category, Informative by 78.86% in the Good category, Interactive by 74% in the Good category, Shearable at 74.77% in the Good category, and Economical by 67.5% in the Good category. (2) High-Level Thinking Ability of Students in Mathematics Learning in grade 5 MIN 2 Kuningan from the average student who is able to answer questions with operational verb analyze (C4) is 65.9% Good category, operational verb evaluates (C5) is 58 ,82% in the Enough category, operational work creates (C6) by 59.66% in the Enough category. (3) There is a positive relationship between Youtube media and higher-order thinking skills which are in the category of Medium relationship level of 0.476 with a relationship effect value of 22.7%.
