Abstract

This article is motivated by the number of teachers who still use the lecture method of learning or often called the conventional method so that the learning process becomes less effective. The main purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the guided group discussion learning model on the geography learning outcomes of class XI students at SMA N 1 2X11 Kayutanam. The method used in this research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental type of research (Quasi Experimental). The results of hypothesis testing carried out using a t-test with a significance level of 0.05, the obtained tcount ttable is 2.076 2.01. The results of the pre-test showed that the two classes had similar initial abilities, namely 69.72 in the control class and 69.2 in the experimental class. the post-test results showed that the experimental class got a higher average than the control class, which was 80.2 and the control class with an average score of 76.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh suhu dan tekanan terhadap kesetimbangan termodinamika dalam proses steam reforming pada reaksi gas alam. Proses ini penting dalam produksi hidrogen melalui reformasi metana dan uap pada kondisi suhu dan tekanan tinggi, menggunakan katalis NiO. Reaksi kimia yang terjadi meliputi reaksi eksotermis dan endotermis yang dipengaruhi oleh perubahan entalpi dan tekanan. Prinsip Le Châtelier digunakan untuk memprediksi pergeseran posisi kesetimbangan akibat perubahan kondisi sistem. Penelitian ini mengonfirmasi bahwa suhu dan tekanan secara signifikan memengaruhi hasil produk dan laju reaksi pada proses reformasi gas alam. Melalui analisis termodinamika menggunakan persamaan Van't Hoff, perubahan entalpi reaksi dihitung untuk memberikan wawasan lebih dalam tentang efisiensi produksi hidrogen dalam reaksi shift dua tahap. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan dalam pengembangan metode produksi hidrogen yang lebih efisien dengan memaksimalkan pemanfaatan energi dan sumber daya.

Abstract

Religious moderation is one of the priority programs in strengthening religious life in Indonesia. The Community Service Program (KKN) students of Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara (UINSU) 2025 play an important role in implementing the values of religious moderation through socio-cultural approaches. This article discusses the involvement of UINSU KKN students in Karo traditional practices in Gurukinayan Village, Karo Regency, as an effort to strengthen tolerance, respect local wisdom, and build interfaith dialogue. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The findings show that student participation in traditional activities such as customary ceremonies, mutual cooperation, and cultural dialogue has successfully created a harmonious space for interfaith encounters. This illustrates that the integration of Islamic values as rahmatan lil ‘alamin with local wisdom can strengthen religious moderation. Moreover, student involvement demonstrates how social interaction can serve as a medium of character education that instills empathy, respect for differences, and willingness to collaborate across religious and cultural boundaries. This experience also encourages students to become agents of social change capable of linking Islamic values with local realities. The findings further emphasize the importance of collaboration between universities, traditional leaders, village authorities, and religious figures in creating social harmony. Thus, KKN is not only understood as a community service program, but also as a strategic medium to cultivate a culture of peace, strengthen social solidarity, and preserve local traditions amidst modernization and globalization.
