Abstract

In the implementation of a system, if the organization provides support to employees for their tasks, the employees will enjoy their work and improve performance through the use of the new system. In addition, when employees feel the same connection with their job or workplace. In mining activities, operators have the potential for high levels of fatigue because production activities are carried out 24 hours and are divided into 2 shifts. In anticipation of accidents caused by fatigue, PT Pamapersada Nusantara is currently developing technology in the unit cabin that can detect indications of operator fatigue when operating the unit. The technology in question is DMS/MH02 (Driving Monitoring System / Mata Hati 2). This research proposes to examine the role of organizational support ,work engagement between and MH02 technology in coal mining use Delone & Mclean model. The quantitative research technique is referred to as the research method. The target of this research is PT. Pamapersada Nusantara, and the research sample, which consists of 279 respondents, refers to the structural equational modelling model. From the results of the research that has been carried out, it turns out that DMS/MH02 for user satisfaction, net benefit, use from user perceptions expressed agreement regarding usability, satisfaction and usefulness for the average value of usability (DMS/MH02 use) at 3.6 while for usefulness ( net benefit) with an average of 4 and for user satisfaction it has the lowest average value, namely 3.27.For the role of organizational support in the implementation of DMS/MH02, it is proven to have a positive influence on DMS/MH02 use. The study found that there was a statistically significant effect of technical and organizational variables in management information system applications. This study led to the need to involve employees and users in the planning process for developing the information/technology system.

Abstract

Spare parts inventory management is very important for PT XYZ, which is one of the largest fertilizer producers in Indonesia. The cost of spare parts, especially for air compressors, constitutes a significant portion of the production cycle cost. This study aims to determine the optimal spare parts inventory value at PT XYZ by comparing the ABC analysis, fixed-time period, and reliability-centered spares (RCS) methods. The results showed that the fixed-time period method has a positive impact on company profits of Rp. 1,648,391,080 and offers better control of Class A spare parts inventory. The ABC analysis method also helps prevent inventory shortages that could disrupt company operations. However, the RCS method cannot be compared because the probability value must be determined by the company itself. In this study, demand fluctuations, lead time, reorder points, and inventory levels are also crucial considerations in determining the value of spare parts inventory. By using the fixed-time period method, PT XYZ can achieve greater profits and effectively control its spare parts inventory

Abstract

This study investigates the role of sustainable supply chain practices and risk management in enhancing manufacturing agility and operational performance, with a particular focus on the underexplored context of developing countries such as Indonesia. Data were collected from 255 managers and executives across the manufacturing, operations, logistics, and supply chain sectors using a structured questionnaire based on a five-point Likert scale. The responses were analyzed using SmartPLS. The results indicate that environmental practices positively influence both manufacturing agility and operational performance, although the effect on operational performance is relatively weaker yet remains statistically significant. Risk management emerges as a critical enabler, contributing positively to both agility and performance outcomes. Among the variables examined, manufacturing agility exerts the strongest influence on operational performance, underscoring its pivotal role in achieving competitive advantage. By integrating supply chain sustainability, risk management, manufacturing agility, and operational performance into a unified framework, this study addresses key research gaps and provides valuable theoretical and practical insights.

Abstract

Background: Startups were pivotal drivers of innovation and economic growth, yet they faced systemic challenges such as limited funding, market volatility, and skill gaps. While government policies, universities, and industries individually supported entrepreneurial ecosystems, their combined impact and mediating mechanisms remained underexplored. This study addressed this gap by introducing the Triplex Model, which investigated how governmental initiatives, academic support, and industrial participation synergistically enhanced startup performance and economic development.Purpose: Our study introduces the Triplex Model, which investigates the dynamic interplay between governmental policies, academic support, and industrial participation in driving startup performance and economic growth. It focuses on the mediating roles of innovation capacity and entrepreneurial skill enhancement within this context.Design/methodology/approach: A structural equation modelling (SEM) approach was utilized to analyze data from 762 startup founders across Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore. The study integrated Systems of Innovation Theory and the Triple Helix Model to provide a robust theoretical framework for understanding entrepreneurial ecosystems.Findings/Result: The analysis reveals that governmental initiatives, university support, and industry involvement significantly influence startup success and economic expansion through the intermediary roles of innovation capacity and entrepreneurial skill enhancement. These findings highlight the critical importance of a collaborative and synergistic approach to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. Conclusion: Our study offered valuable insights for policymakers, academic institutions, and industry leaders. It underscored the need to foster collaborative environments, align strategic initiatives with innovation-driven objectives, and strengthen entrepreneurial ecosystems to promote sustainable economic development.Originality/value: This study comprehensively examines external support mechanisms within entrepreneurial ecosystems. By synthesizing Systems of Innovation Theory and the Triple Helix Model, the study extends their applicability and bridges theoretical and practical knowledge gaps, presenting a strategic blueprint for advancing innovation-led entrepreneurship. Abstract

The implementation of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) will make an activity more efficient because it will help control operation and production processes; control can be applied appropriately and at any time (real-time). This process will undoubtedly help the company to get maximum benefits. In 2020, the world oil price was very volatile and had touched a negative level. It is predicted that the uncertainty and low oil price will continue in the next few years. PT Pertamina Hulu Energi - Offshore South East Sumatra (PHE OSES), an Indonesian national company, plans to fully apply the SCADA system in its operational and production areas, because currently most of the PHE OSES areas still use the manual system. SCADA's estimated investment value of USD 8.6 million is a major investment for the company amidst the uncertainty of oil prices. Therefore, this project must get attention starting from the preparation, installation and implementation stages. In this article, economic analysis, cost & benefit analysis, and sensitivity test to factors that can affect economic value will be carried out. An analysis will also be carried out in terms of change management. All of these analyzes will answer whether the implementation of SCADA is feasible or not. The result of this research show that this project is feasible to be implemented in PHE OSES, it meets the capital budgeting criteria and has benefit to cost ratio larger than one. Oil price and oil losses recovery are the most affecting factors in the project’s feasibility. Company must do training, socialization, and hiring of experts play the vital role in the success of this project.
