Abstract

PT Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA) melakukan kegiatan pengupasan tanah penutup dan pengambilan batubara di lahan konsesi milik PT Adaro Indonesia yang berlokasi di kabupaten Tabalong, Kalimantan Selatan. Dengan target produksi 2019 sebesar 90 juta bcm overburden dan 14,5 juta ton batubara. Lokasi penelitian terletak pada area pembuangan Altis dari front pada elevasi +114  m dpl. Kondisi kolam lumpur dapat menampung 1.800.000 juta m3 lumpur. Proses penambangan tersebut akan menghasilkan lumpur cair yang berasal dari kolam penampungan (sump) yang terdapat di lokasi penambangan, yang nantinya akan dibuang ke area pembuangan khusus (disposal). Proses pengurasan lumpur ini dalam pertambangan dikategorikan pekerjaan kritis (highrisk) karena potensi kematian (fatality) tinggi.  Beberapa rekam jejak di pertambangan salah satunya truck masuk ke dalam kolam pembuangan lumpur yang menyebabkan fatality. Disamping itu dari segi operational, untuk produtivitas hauler pada proses disposal activity hingga 72 detik. Sesuai dengan Keputusan Menteri ESDM Nomor 1827/K30/MEM/2018 dalam perencanaan pembuangan lumpur  yang terpenting adalah perhitungan stabilitas keseluruhan. Kestabilan konstruksi diperiksa dengan menentukan faktor keamanan lereng. Dibanyak kasus, perhitungan ini tidak dilakukan akibatnya tidak diketahui faktor keamanan konstruksi setelah dilakukan timbunan. Apakah area pembuangan yang didapat mampu mencegah terjadinya keruntuhan di bawah konstruksi sehingga dapat terjadi potensi masuknya truck ke dalam area pembuangan lumpur. Dari kondisi-kondisi di atas, perlu ada tinjauan teknis baru terkait kontruksi area pembuangan dan perhitungan safety factor dari kegagalan struktur tanah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan kajian teknis yang sesuai untuk proses pembuangan lumpur dan dapat meningkatkan produktivitas alat. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dan analisa data terkait kestabilan lereng maka dapat disimpulkan Design Mudpocket dapat diterapkan untuk proses pembuangan material lumpur pada kolam lumpur karena memiliki nilai SF = 1,4 dan dapat menurunkan disposal activity menjadi 53 detik serta mengurangi potensi terperosok truck masuk ke kolam karena saat proses dumping tidak bersinggungan dengan bibir jurang.

Abstract

In the implementation of a system, if the organization provides support to employees for their tasks, the employees will enjoy their work and improve performance through the use of the new system. In addition, when employees feel the same connection with their job or workplace. In mining activities, operators have the potential for high levels of fatigue because production activities are carried out 24 hours and are divided into 2 shifts. In anticipation of accidents caused by fatigue, PT Pamapersada Nusantara is currently developing technology in the unit cabin that can detect indications of operator fatigue when operating the unit. The technology in question is DMS/MH02 (Driving Monitoring System / Mata Hati 2). This research proposes to examine the role of organizational support ,work engagement between and MH02 technology in coal mining use Delone & Mclean model. The quantitative research technique is referred to as the research method. The target of this research is PT. Pamapersada Nusantara, and the research sample, which consists of 279 respondents, refers to the structural equational modelling model. From the results of the research that has been carried out, it turns out that DMS/MH02 for user satisfaction, net benefit, use from user perceptions expressed agreement regarding usability, satisfaction and usefulness for the average value of usability (DMS/MH02 use) at 3.6 while for usefulness ( net benefit) with an average of 4 and for user satisfaction it has the lowest average value, namely 3.27.For the role of organizational support in the implementation of DMS/MH02, it is proven to have a positive influence on DMS/MH02 use. The study found that there was a statistically significant effect of technical and organizational variables in management information system applications. This study led to the need to involve employees and users in the planning process for developing the information/technology system.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the improvement in student learning outcomes in PKN learning Pancasila material using the demonstration method for class II at SD DAQU Internasional Tangerang. This research is classroom action research (PTK). The subjects of this research were 25 class II students. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, test and documentation methods. The PTK model uses 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 4 stages, namely, 1) Action Plan 2) Implementation 3) Observation 4) Reflection. Data analysis techniques use student data, namely planning data, implementation data, observation data and reflection data. The research results showed that the formative test results obtained by students in the pre-cycle of 25 students only 14 students (56%) completed. In Cycle I the results were 18 students (72%) who completed. In cycle II, students' formative test results increased to 23 students (92%) who completed it. Meanwhile, 2 students who got a score of less than 70 were declared incomplete and needed to carry out follow-up action in the form of giving assignments. So that the use of the demonstration method can improve student learning outcomes in civics subjects with Pancasila material using the demonstration method for class II elementary school.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the implementation of Pancasila students' critical reasoning in science learning in class IV elementary school. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive model. Research subjects Principal, class IV teacher, class IV students at SD Daarul Quran Tangerang. Data collection uses observation, interviews and document study. The data validation process uses triangulation techniques. Data analysis uses interactive analysis consisting of data collection, reduction, data display, and conclusions. The research results show that the implementation of critical reasoning from the Pancasila Student Profile in science and science learning in class IV elementary schools shows positive results. Application of Critical Reasoning in Natural Sciences Learning through learning strategies, use of learning media, active role of teachers as facilitators and feedback, thereby creating enthusiasm and participation in students developing critical thinking skills. There are obstacles including limited time and variations in student abilities. The implications of this research provide valuable insights for educators and policy makers to continue developing and implementing critical reasoning elements from the Pancasila Student Profile in the basic education curriculum.

Abstract

Nowadays, reading activities have become boring and uninteresting activities for students. One of the schools efforts to foster students' interest in reading is by forming a reading corner in the corner of the classroom. The reading corner in this madrasah ibtidaiyah is decorated with Islamic nuances so students are more active in reading and reminding them that first revelation that Rasullulah got was the command to read. This study aims to analyse the effect of Islamic reading corner and reading interest on reading literacy in madrasah ibtidaiyah. This type of research is a correlation type quantitative research that aims to see the relationship between the variables of Islamic reading corner, reading interest, and reading literacy. The population in this study was in the madrasah ibtidaiyah of the setu cluster, setu sub district, the sample was at MI Nurul Falah Muncul, totalling 54 fourth grade students. The sampling technique in this study used simple random sampling technique and analysis technique in this study used multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results showed that T test of the Islamic reading corner variable with reading interest had a significant and positive effect on reading literacy. While from the results of the F test, the Islamic reading corner and reading interest have a significant and positive influence on the reading literacy of grade IV students at MI Nurul Falah. Based on these results it can be concluded that the Islamic reading corner and reading interest have an effect on student reading literacy in MI.Dewasa ini kegiatan membaca menjadi kegiatan yang membosankan dan tidak diminati oleh siswa. Maka dari itu salah satu upaya sekolah untuk menumbuhkan minat membaca siswa dengan membentuk pojok baca yang berada di dalam sudut kelas, pojok baca yang berda di madrasah ibtidaiyah ini dihiasi dengan nuansa islami agar siswa semakin giat dalam membaca dan mengingatkan bahwa wahyu pertama yang Rasullulah dapat adalah perintah membaca. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pojok baca bernuansa islami dan minat baca terhadap literasi membaca di madrasah ibtidaiyah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif tipe korelasi yang bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antar variable pojok baca bernuansa islami, minat baca, dan literasi membaca. Populasi pada penelitian ini berada di madrasah ibtidaiyah gugus setu kecamatan setu, sampel berada di MI Nurul Falah Muncul yang berjumlah 54 siswa kelas IV. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik simpel random sampling. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan yaitu hasil uji T variabel pojok baca bernuansa islami dengan minat baca mempunyai pengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap literasi membaca. Sedangkan dari hasil uji F pojok baca bernuansa islami dan minat baca mempunyai pengaruh signifikan serta positif terhadap literasi membaca siswa kelas IV di MI Nurul Falah. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan pojok baca bernuansa islami dan minat baca berpengaruh terhadap literasi membaca siswa di MI.

Abstract

Many vocational schools have been bringing their educational practice closer to industry along with the concept of Teaching Factory (TEFA) to adjust the students’ skills as close as the industry demands. The implementation of TEFA based curriculum in one of vocational higher education in Surabaya for all subjects including English subject has been performed since 2019. In English classes, the Teaching Factory-Based Strategy covers two methods: product-based learning and flipped classroom. This research aims to explore the implementation of TEFA-based strategy and the two methods by revealing students' perceptions and responses on the strategy. This research is descriptive qualitative research in which data were obtained through questionnaires and interviews. The students observed were from 4 different study programs in this PPNS. The results of this study show positive perceptions of students toward TEFA – based strategy implemented in the classroom even though there are some obstacles faced by both students and lecturers. Hopefully this research can contribute practically to English teachers who are adopting TEFA in English language teaching.

Abstract

This study aims to implementation of learning media can help develop student understanding in learning grade 3 mathematics. Observations in class 3 UPTD SDN Bojong 1 Tangerang in September 2024 also showed the problem of students' lack of understanding in learning mathematics on multiplication material. Nurhamidah said that students' lack of understanding of learning can affect their learning outcomes. Therefore, learning media able to be the solution to develop student understanding in learning mathematics (Sellafeni et al., 2023). For that reason, it is necessary to carry out study to identify factors that influence student understanding in learning mathematics. This research tends to identify factors that influence students' understanding of mathematics learning and develop effective learning strategies to improve students' understanding of mathematics learning, especially on multiplication material. The use of multiplication bag board media in grade 3 school basic multiplication material has a positive influence on student understanding in learning mathematics. As one of the factors, Learning media plays an fundamental role in the teaching and learning process.Teachers in learning usually employ learning media as an intermediary in delivering material to make the students understand it. This research uses the development method (Research and Development), which was developed with the ADDIE development model, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. By using the R&D method, researchers can develop innovative and effective products, processes, or systems to solve problems or meet needs. This study was held at SDN Bojong 1 Tangerang, while the subjects involved in this research were grade 3 students. The data obtained from the research subjects were collected through observation methods and student grades.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the low numeracy literacy skills of students in solving mathematical problems contained in the unit length conversion material and the lack of technology utilization in teaching materials in the classroom. One solution to overcome these problems is to develop teaching materials that integrate length unit conversion material through ICT-based kasajang teaching materials in mathematics learning. This research uses the RnD (Research and Deplopment) method with the ADDIE model in the form of Analysis, Design, Implementation, and Evalution stages. Data were collected through various techniques such as: observation, validation by a team of experts, student numeracy literacy tests, and assessment of the feasibility of teaching materials from teachers and students through interviews. The results showed that this ICT-based kasajang teaching material could meet the criteria of being very valid based on the assessment of 96% media expert validators, 100% material expert validators and 98% language expert validators. In addition, the results of the student numeracy literacy test increased after using this teaching material obtained from the comparison between the pre-test value and the pre-test value when using the kasajang teaching material. the results of the average difference using the kasajang teaching material show that the learning media is effective in improving 21st century numeracy literacy skills.

Abstract

The ability to communicate globally, both in Indonesian and English, is extremely important in the this digital technology era. Everybody who wants to succeed in the global economy must speak English to communicate globally. In order to increase the quality of human resources, the education institutions must prepare education system or curriculum that are able to produce ready-to-use human resources. This study is aimed to analyse the need of English Competence in Professional Business Communication Industries. The data were obtained from Questionnaire and Interview with PPNS users’ companies. The result showed that the ability of using English for Professional Business Communication is one of requirements to be accomplished in order to establish modern companies that are ready to compete in the worldwide scale. It was recommended that the English for Professional Business Communication could be developed in form of study program that are prepared to accommodate the international business communication.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kawasan Tambak Wedi, Kenjeran, Surabaya merupakan komunitas pesisir dengan jumlah nelayan yang cukup besar dan berada di area strategis namun rawan kecelakaan laut, kawasan tersebut termasuk dalam sekitar Alur Pelayaran Barat Surabaya (APBS). Minimnya kapal tanggap darurat menjadi latar belakang kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan solusi mitigasi kecelakaan laut melalui pelatihan kepada peserta baik secara softskill yakni berupa pembekalan materi terkait kriteria dalam proses desain kapal, material penyusun serta aspek kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3) untuk peningkatan dari segi hardskill yakni tentang proses produksi pembuatan kapal speed boat berbahan Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) sesuai rules/standart yang berlaku. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan di Politeknik Perkapalan Negeri Surabaya (PPNS) dengan melibatkan 10 orang mahasiswa asing peserta Summer Camp serta 6 orang kelompok nelayan lokal Kenjeran Surabaya dengan total peserta sebanyak 16 orang. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pengenalan desain kapal dan perancangan kapal (spiral design) material penyusun dan proses produksi, hingga pembuatan kapal secara langsung dengan menggunakan metode hand lay-up yang dilakukan selama 5 hari. Produk akhir berupa kapal speed boat sepanjang 5,05 meter ini diserahkan kepada nelayan Kenjeran sebagai sarana kesiapsiagaan maritim. Kegiatan ini juga berperan sebagai ajang kolaborasi internasional dan promosi keunggulan PPNS dalam bidang perkapalan. Pelatihan ini memberikan peningkatan pemahaman dan kompetensi teknis kepada peserta Summer Camp serta kelompok nelayan lokal dengan peningkatan nilai siginifikan terlihat dari semua indiator baik pemahaman materi dengan peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 56,6% serta peningkatan kompetensi keterampilan peserta yakni sebesar 60,8% dalam proses pembangunan kapal FRP sesuai standard yang sebelumnya hanya sebagai pengguna dan bekal untuk berwirausaha dalam bidang pembuatan kapal FRP.Abstract: The Tambak Wedi area in Kenjeran, Surabaya, is a coastal community with a significant number of fishermen and is located in a strategic yet high-risk zone for maritime accidents, as it lies near the Western Surabaya Shipping Lane (APBS). The lack of available emergency response vessels highlights the urgent need for effective disaster mitigation measures. This community engagement project aimed to address this issue through training that combined soft skills, such as understanding ship design criteria, appropriate construction materials, and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), with hard skills on the practical production process of fiberglass speed boats according to applicable standards and rules. The activities were conducted at the Shipbuilding Institute of Polytechnic Surabaya (PPNS) and involved international students participating in the 2024 Summer Camp program along with local fishermen from Kenjeran, Surabaya. A total of 16 participants joined, consisting of 10 international students and 6 local fishermen. The training activities included an introduction to ship design using the spiral design method, sessions on FRP materials and production techniques, and hands-on boat building practice using the hand lay-up method carried out over five days. The final product, a 5.05-meter-long speed boat made from Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP), was officially handed over to the Kenjeran fisherman group as a maritime preparedness asset. This project not only addressed local safety concerns but also promoted international collaboration and showcased PPNS’s expertise in shipbuilding and maritime education. The training resulted in significant improvements, with an average 56.6% increase in participants’ understanding of materials and a 60.8% increase in practical skills for building FRP boats, preparing them for safer operations and future entrepreneurship.
