Abstract

this research aims to determine the level of personality competence of kindergarten teachers. The research was conducted at Taman Kanak-Kanak Negeri Satu Atap Jati Desa Biru kecamatan Poleang Timur Kabupaten Bombana. This research is descriptive research using total sampling as a sampling technique. The total sample consisted of 10 teachers. Data was collected using a questionnaire technique which had previously gone through validity and reliability tests. The research data were then processed descriptively with percentage analysis. The research results show that the level of teacher personality competency is in the very good category. There needs to be further stimulus from related parties to ensure that this condition is maintained.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the detection of early childhood growth and development at Wulele Sangula Kindergarten. Preventing developmental disorders in early childhood is essential because early childhood is a vulnerable period to negative influences. This type of research is a field survey that collects and analyzes the growth results of early childhood. Data collection techniques were conducted using anthropometric measurements of early childhood, interviews, and documentation studies. The sample of this study was 61 students enrolled in Wulele Sangula Kindergarten. The study found that most early childhood at Wulele Sangula Kindergarten have normal growth and development. However, some early childhood are at risk of malnutrition, some are overweight or obese, and a few show symptoms of microcephaly and macrocephaly. There is a need for psychoeducation for parents of early childhood and early childhood education units regarding Early Detection of Child Growth and ways to address and minimize growth disorders

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik dan kebutuhan lapangan model pembelajaran terpadu tipe jaring laba-laba, untuk mengetahui rancangan model pembelajaran tipe jaring laba-labauntuk meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun, dan untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran tipe jaring laba-laba untuk meningkatakan perkembangan kognitif anak valid, praktis dan efektif. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah R & D. Teknik analisis pada penelitian ini dilakukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil analisis hasil menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan pembelajaran pada saat ujicoba model pembelajaran terpadu tipe jarring laba-laba untuk meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Dharma Wanita Kuncup Mekar sudah berada pada kategori praktis atau reliable dengan persentase 76.38%. Respon guru terhadap model pembelajaran terpadu tipe laba-laba untuk meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini di TK Dharma Wanita Kuncup Mekar berada pada kategori positif yaitu “baik/setuju”. Ini terlihat dari hasil analisis data yang menyebutkan bahwa dari empat responden yang memberikan respon 91.79% setuju dan selebihnya sangat setuju. Sedangkan hasil analisis aktivitas anak melalui model pembelajaran terpadu tipe jaring laba-laba untuk meningkatkan perkembangan kognitif anak usia 5-6 tahun di Kelompok B TK Dharma Wanita Kuncup Mekar Kabupaten Muna Barat sudah berada pada kategori Sangat tinggi atau efektif dengan 76,3%.

Abstract

The project-based learning model (PjBL) has become one of the relevant approaches in early childhood education because it provides space for exploration, direct experience, and active participation of children in the learning process. This study aims to theoretically examine how the application of PjBL can encourage the cognitive development of early childhood. Through the literature study method of various scientific sources published in the last five years (2020–2025), it was found that the application of PjBL consistently correlates with increased cognitive functions such as critical thinking skills, observation, classification, reflection, and early literacy. Project activities allow children to be involved in direct observation of objects, make predictions, organize categories, and convey ideas verbally and visually. In addition, PjBL also encourages children's independence in decision-making and the development of creativity in completing simple tasks independently. Simple projects such as environmental exploration, making creative products, and simulating social roles have been shown to stimulate children's logical and systematic thinking skills. The role of the teacher as a facilitator is crucial in designing projects that are appropriate to the child's developmental stage and interests. The conclusion of this study shows that PjBL is not only an effective method in strengthening cognitive aspects, but also provides an important foundation for children's readiness in facing learning at the elementary education level. This approach is also in line with the spirit of 21st century learning which emphasizes collaboration, creativity, and problem solving.

Abstract

Early childhood cognitive development is a crucial aspect in shaping children’s ability to think, understand, and solve problems. One effective approach to support this development is environment-based learning. This study aims to review various literature sources regarding the role of the environment as a learning medium in enhancing early childhood cognitive abilities. The method used is a qualitative literature review by analyzing scientific journals, books, and relevant previous studies. This review focuses on synthesizing theoretical and empirical findings on the contribution of environment-based learning to early childhood cognitive development. The findings indicate that both natural and social environments provide direct learning experiences that stimulate children’s curiosity, improve observation skills, and strengthen critical and creative thinking. Environment-based learning also enables children to learn in a contextual manner, making concepts easier to understand and remember. In addition, interaction with the environment supports language development, classification skills, and simple problem-solving abilities. Teachers play an important role in designing and facilitating learning activities that effectively utilize the surrounding environment in accordance with children’s developmental stages. The success of this approach largely depends on teachers’ ability to create meaningful and developmentally appropriate learning experiences. Thus, environment-based learning is an effective strategy for promoting holistic cognitive development in early childhood. The implication of this study suggests that integrating environmental contexts into learning activities should be systematically implemented in early childhood education to optimize cognitive stimulation through experiential learning.

Abstract

Early childhood education (PAUD) has a very important role in building the foundation of children's social and emotional development. This study aims to examine various approaches in building social and emotional connections in early childhood based on existing literature studies. Various factors, such as teacher and peer interactions, the role of parents, and a supportive environment, have a significant influence on children's social and emotional development. This study concludes that an inclusive and participatory approach to learning can encourage children to build positive relationships with others, manage their emotions, and develop empathy. In addition, character education and learning based on social experiences can improve children's ability to adapt to various social situations. By understanding the importance of social and emotional aspects, it is hoped that learning in PAUD can be more holistic and oriented towards balanced development between cognitive, social, and emotional aspects.
