Abstract

Technical requirement checking relating exhaust brake on vehicle inspection is still lacking because there is no additional equipment which can helps to ensure the exhaust brake works. From that case a set of research is conducted to help inspectors to ensure the exhaust brake works normally  by using microcontroller based prototype. This research aims to design and implement the inspect equipment of exhaust brake using sound sensor DFr and air Sensor. The process requires 3 inspectors and by using this tool, inspectors could ensure the exhaust brake works or not for hino vehicle. This research shows that measuring by using this auxiliary tool for checking the exhaust brake could inform the fluctuation of sound produced by vehicle machine and decreasing air on exhaust brake system. The result of its prototype testing, the sound sensor is able to detect the increasing of sound and if the sound level reaches 80 dB, there will be a green as warning LED and l2c LCD displays the noise level and the prototype could works properly, the accuracy percentage is 97% and for the air Sensor’s accuracy is 92%

Abstract

Kota Surakarta dilayani oleh beberapa angkutan umum yang sudah beroperasi dan melayani masyarakat, yaitu Batik Solo Trans (BST) dan Feeder. Untuk mengakomodasi perpindahan atau perjalanan masyarakat di Kota Surakarta maka perlu dibuat trayek baru guna memberikan pelayanan jasa sehingga diperlukan adanya integrasi antara trayek Batik Solo Trans (BST) dan TransJateng yang baru. Integrasi moda transportasi sangat penting dalam memberikan kemudahan bagi masyarakat dalam perpindahan moda karena integrasi moda transportasi merupakan salah satu upaya untuk menyatukan atau menggabungkan dari trayek angkutan umum yang ada. Data primer penelitian ini menggunakan trayek validasi Batik Solo Trans (BST) dan data trayek TransJateng, sedangkan data sekunder menggunakan trayek Batik Solo Trans dari Dinas Perhubungan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ruas jalan yang menjadi integrasi trayek baru angkutan umum kombinasi trayek BST dengan TransJateng meliputi Jl. Veteran, Jl. Jendral Sudirman, Jl. Urip Sumoharjo, dan Jl. Ahmad Yani.

Abstract

Faktor penyebab kecelakaan disebabkan karena factor pengemudi dan kendaraan. Hal ini terjadi karena pengamudi kurang memperhatikan kecepatan, tata cara pemuatan, serta beban yang dibawa. Kecepatan serta beban muatan yang berlebih bisa mengakibatkan rem blong. Tata cara pemuatan yang salah juga mempengaruhi kinerja sistem pengereman. Pengujian efisiensi rem yang dilakukan secara statis belum bisa menjamin bahwa kendaraan tersebut dalam kondisi baik. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pengujian rem road test dengan penambahan beban, kecepatan, dan tata cara pemuatan untuk mengetahui jarak pengereman. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penambahan beban muatan, perubahan kecepatan, dan perubahan tata cara muat dapat mempengaruhi jarak pengereman. Dari perhitungan perlambatan yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai perlambatan dipengaruhi oleh jarak pengereman, penambahan beban muatan, perubahan kecepatan, dan perubahan tata cara muat dapat mempengaruhi nilai perlambatan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang wesbite System informasi dan monitoring yang berisi tentang informasi penyewaan kendaraan bermotor yang sudah mempunyai izin usaha penyewaan kendaraan bermotor yang resmi terdaftar dan tergabung pada Asosiasi Pengusaha Rental Mobil Daerah (ASPERDA) serta mempunyai standar operasional prosedur (SOP) yang mengedepankan faktor-faktor keselamatan dalam berlalu lintas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D). Metode ini digunakan untuk menghasilkan suatu produk berupa Website. Adapun untuk uji coba website menggunakan black box testing. Selanjutnya untuk menilai efektifitas pada website menggunakan kuesioner. Pada website ini terdapat 10 penyedia jasa yang tergabung dalam Asperda. Hasil uji coba Website menggunakan black box testing dilakukan sebanyak dua kali, pada tahap pertama masih terdapat 3 halaman yang mash belum sesuai tampilannya. Setelah dilakukan desain ulang dan perbaikan system maka pada uji Black box testing yang kedua semua halaman sudah sesuai. Efektivitas Wesbite dinilai melalui kuisioner mendapatkan nilai sebesar 75,60 % (Skala Likert) yang mana nilai tersebut masuk dalam kategori baik. Hasil uji coba penerapan aplikasi dapat berfungsi dengan baik dan dapat diterapkan kemudian harinya.

Abstract

ABSTRAKKebocoran gas LPG pada angkutan barang berbahaya yang menyebabkan kebakaran pada kendaraan merupakan masalah kritis yang perlu penyelesaian segera. Jika dibiarkan, masalah ini dapat semakin meningkat, berakibat pada peningkatan kasus kebakaran kendaraan bermotor angkutan barang berbahaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keselamatan dan keamanan kendaraan bermotor serta masyarakat sekitar. Sistem melibatkan pemasangan sensor gas dan sensor api yang terhubung dengan Internet of Things (IoT) melalui ESP8266, dengan aplikasi berbasis platform dan alarm. Sensor-sensor ini dapat mendeteksi kebocoran gas LPG atau perubahan suhu yang mengindikasikan adanya kebakaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimental. Data yang dikumpulkan oleh sensor dikirimkan secara real-time ke platform untuk analisis dan tindakan responsif. Dengan sistem ini, diharapkan kebocoran gas LPG atau kebakaran dapat dideteksi lebih awal, memungkinkan tindakan pencegahan yang cepat dan efektif untuk menghindari kebakaran yang lebih besar dan kerugian yang potensial signifikan. ABSTRACTLPG gas leaks in Dangerous Goods transport that cause fires in vehicles are critical problems that need immediate resolution. If left unchecked, this problem can increase, increasing in cases of motor vehicle fires transporting Dangerous Goods. This research aims to improve the safety and security of motor vehicles and the surrounding community. The system involves installing gas sensors and fire sensors connected to the Internet of Things (IoT) via ESP8266, with platform-based applications and alarms. These sensors can detect LPG gas leaks or temperature changes that indicate a fire. This research uses quantitative methods with experimental research types. Data collected by sensors is transmitted in real-time to the platform for analysis and responsive action. With this system, it is expected that LPG gas leaks or fires can be detected early, allowing for quick and effective preventive measures to avoid larger fires and potentially significant losses.

Abstract

Surabaya Pasar Turi Station, a Class A train station, is situated in Surabaya, East Java, within the Operational Area VIII (DAOP 8) Surabaya under the management of KAI Commuter. This station serves a substantial number of passengers and plays a critical role in regional transportation. To enhance passenger satisfaction, it is essential to align service delivery with user priorities, provide facilities that meet established standards, and ensure high-quality services. This study evaluates the conformity of station facilities with Indonesian Regulation PM 63 of 2019 and examines the quality of services provided to passengers. Using the Service Quality (Servqual) method, the study assesses the gap between passenger expectations and actual experiences, identifying critical areas for improvement to optimize passenger satisfaction. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires comprising 15 service attributes to station passengers. Observational findings indicate several non-compliant facilities, such as the platform height at Line IV exceeding regulatory standards, the canopy on Platform IV not matching its length, and the insufficient availability of fire extinguishers (APAR) in the waiting area. Service Quality analysis reveals that while passengers are generally satisfied, specific indicators require improvement. The three key areas identified for enhancement include the adequacy of the waiting room, platform alignment with train height, and parking facilities. This research underscores the importance of prioritizing passenger needs and regulatory compliance to improve service quality. Addressing these deficiencies can significantly enhance passenger experiences and the operational efficiency of Surabaya Pasar Turi Station. The findings provide actionable recommendations for station management to align services with regulatory standards and passenger expectations, contributing to the overall quality of public transportation in the region.

Abstract

The use of electric bicycles in Tegal City is increasing, yet it is not accompanied by adequate awareness of road safety, especially among adult women. There is a need for effective educational media to improve traffic safety understanding, and motion graphic animation offers an engaging solution by combining visual and audio elements. This study used the Research and Development (RD) method with the ADDIE model. Media validation was conducted by subject matter and media experts, and the trial involved 100 adult female electric bicycle users in Tegal City. Validation results showed a score of 88.3% from the material expert and 93.3% from the media expert, both categorized as “Highly Feasible.” Respondents’ feedback reached 86% in the “Highly Attractive” category, and the N-Gain score of 0.77 indicated a significant improvement in understanding. These findings demonstrate that motion graphic animation is effective as a media tool for promoting electric bicycle safety among adult women. It also holds strong potential for further development into more interactive and accessible digital formats. Penggunaan sepeda listrik di Kota Tegal meningkat, namun belum diimbangi dengan kesadaran keselamatan berkendara, terutama di kalangan wanita dewasa. Dibutuhkan media penyuluhan yang efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman tentang keselamatan lalu lintas, salah satunya melalui animasi motion graphics yang memadukan elemen visual dan audio secara menarik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (RD) dengan model ADDIE. Validasi kelayakan dilakukan oleh ahli materi dan ahli media, serta uji coba dilakukan pada 100 wanita dewasa pengguna sepeda listrik di Kota Tegal. Hasil validasi menunjukkan nilai 88,3% dari ahli materi dan 93,3% dari ahli media, keduanya dalam kategori “Sangat Layak”. Respon responden terhadap media mencapai 86% (kategori “Sangat Menarik”), dan uji efektivitas melalui N-Gain menunjukkan nilai 0,77. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa animasi motion graphics efektif digunakan sebagai media penyuluhan keselamatan berkendara bagi wanita dewasa, serta berpotensi untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut dalam bentuk media digital yang lebih interaktif dan mudah diakses.

Abstract

The Track Quality Index is the reading of the gauge to determine the quality of the track, the higher the TQI value, the more severe the level of damage to a track will be. The government's steps to reduce the number of train accidents, especially those caused by derailments, the limited number of gauge trains owned by the government is one of the existing problems. The number of gauge trains owned by the Directorate General of Railways is 4 gauge trains spread across Java Island, Sumatra Island and Sulawesi Island. This causes the identification of damage to the rail road due to a decrease in the quality of traffic that is not optimal. Thus, a more effective measure is needed to predict the value of the Track Quality Index (TQI) of a railroad crossing other than using data read from the operation of a gauge train. This research was conducted as an alternative equation to make it easier to predict valuesTrack Quality Index (TQI), and determine the location of priority repairs to the railroad tracks so that maintenance can be carried out properly, and the safety aspects of the facilities when crossing the railroad are safe. Based on the results of research on the quality of the traffic on the Rangkasbitung-Tanah Abang line, it is included in category II for 20 TQI 35 with good conditions, so that this line can be traversed by trains with speeds of 80-100 km/hour. The Track Quality Index (TQI) score with the highest score is on the Rangkasbitung-Tanah Abang route located on the KM 42+27 to 42+0 road plot with a Track Quality Index (TQI) value of 84.2 which is included in category IV with dangerous conditions. This condition requires very immediate repair of damage to the lift, electricity, and elevation. Then there are 42 other points with category IV which are included in the first priority to be repaired very soon.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the performance of Type C Terminal Belik in Pemalang Regency and to formulate improvement strategies. The methods used include user surveys, field observations, and interviews, complemented by an analysis of the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and SWOT. The survey results from 100 respondents indicate that the majority of users are productive-age males working in the informal and private sectors. The CSI value of 59.25% indicates that users' satisfaction is in the 'fairly satisfied' category. The inventory of services shows that although most basic facilities such as waiting rooms, parking areas, and breastfeeding rooms are available, there are still shortcomings in safety, cleanliness, as well as information and complaint media. SWOT analysis produces improvement strategies that include optimizing infrastructure, enhancing human resource capacity, utilizing information technology, and cross-sector partnerships. This research shows that improving the overall and sustainable quality of terminal services is essential to realize terminals as safe, comfortable, and efficient public transportation hubs. Recommendations are provided so that terminal managers can use the results of this evaluation as a basis for service improvement in accordance with the standards set by the government.
