Abstract

Abstrak Di Indonesia prevalensi jantung termasuk penyakit jantung koroner (PJK) berdasarkan diagnosis dokter pada penduduk semua umur sebesar 1.5%. Hipertensi merupakan salah satu faktor terjadinya PJK. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan terkait penyakit PJK sehingga dapat meningkatkan kewaspadaan terhadap PJK. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di Hall Asrama STIK Sint Carolus dengan sasaran pengunjung Klinik Pratama St. Carolus Paseban sebanyak 25 orang anggota prolanis hipertensi. Anggota prolanis hipertensi dipilih karena masih banyak persepsi yang salah terkait makanan, selain itu beberapa anggota tidak mengetahui dampak jika tekanan darah tidak terkontrol. Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada tanggal 10 November 2023 menggunakan media power point dan diberikan pre-posttest. Terdapat 10 pertanyaan yang digunakan untuk pre-posttest. Uji yang digunakan adalah Wilcoxon. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan antara sebelum dan setelah diberikan edukasi (p value = 0.052) tetapi terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan pada 32% responden dengan rata-rata nilai 84.40±8.20 menjadi 87.20±6.13, rata-rata peningkatan pengetahuan sebesar 15%. Pemberian edukasi gizi CERMAT dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan responden sehingga responden dapat meningkatkan kewaspadaan tehadap terjadinya PJK. Kata kunci: CERMAT; edukasi gizi; penyakit jantung koroner. Abstract In Indonesia, the prevalence of heart disease including coronary heart disease (CHD) based on a doctor's diagnosis in the population of all ages is 1.5%. Hypertension is one of the factors of CHD. The purpose of this activity is to increase knowledge related to CHD so that it can increase awareness of CHD. This activity was carried out at the Sint Carolus STIK Dormitory Hall with the target of visitors to the St. Carolus Paseban Primary Clinic as many as 25 hypertension prolanis members. Hypertension prolanis members were chosen because there are still many wrong perceptions related to food, besides that some members do not know the impact if blood pressure is not controlled. This activity was carried out on November 10, 2023 using power point media and given a pre-posttest. There were 10 questions used for the pre-posttest. The test used was Wilcoxon. The results of the analysis showed that there was no difference between before and after education (p value = 0.052) but there was an increase in knowledge in 32% of respondents with an average score of 84.40 ± 8.20 to 87.20 ± 6.13, an average increase in knowledge of 15%. Providing CERMAT nutrition education can increase respondents' knowledge so that respondents can increase awareness of the occurrence of CHD.  Keywords: CERMAT; coronary heart disease; nutrition education.

Abstract

Abstrak Jumlah penderita diabetes dewasa di Indonesia berusia 20-79 tahun sebesar 10.6%. Prevalensi diabetes melitus (DM) berdasarkan diagnosis dokter pada penduduk umur ≥15 tahun di Indonesia sebesar 2.0%, DKI Jakarta menduduki posisi pertama tertinggi DM sebesar 3.4%. Tingginya prevalensi penderita diabetes melitus mendorong pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan agar masyarakat dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kewaspadaan serta mengendalikan diabetes melitus. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Hall Asrama STIK Sint Carolus dengan sasaran pengunjung Klinik Pratama St Carolus sebanyak 25 orang yang dilakukan pada bulan Oktober tahun 2023. Metode yang digunakan adalah  metode ceramah dengan media lembar balik. Sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan diberikan pre-test dan post-test yang terdiri dari 10 pertanyaan. Perbedaan pengetahuan gizi diuji dengan uji Wilcoxon. Terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan responden dengan rata-rata nilai 62.80±2.97 menjadi 66.80±2.43. Tidak ada pengaruh signifikan setelah diberikan edukasi dengan nilai p-value 0.085, tetapi terdapat perubahan dari hasil post-test>pre-test pada 10 responden. Pemberian pendidikan gizi dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan responden. Kata kunci: diabetes melitus; lembar balik; penyuluhan.  Abstract The number of adult diabetics in Indonesia aged 20-79 years is 10.6%. Abstract

Background: Adolescent women will experience puberty which is marked by the occurrence of menstruation. During menstruation, adolescents will experience problems such as menstrual pain or dysmenorrhea. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between consumption patterns and nutritional status with adolescent dysmenorrhea.Method: This study uses an analytical survey design with a cross sectional approach. Subjects were selected by purposive sampling, namely adolescent girls’ class XI MIPA 1-4, totaling 84 people. Data were analyzed using Pearson's test to determine the significance of the relationship between consumption patterns and nutritional status to adolescent dysmenorrhea.Result: This study showed a significant relationship between nutritional status and the incidence of dysmenorrhea in class XI students at SMA Negeri 2 Toraja Utara (p<0.05; r=0.0224). In addition, this study did not find any relationship between the level of energy and carbohydrate adequacy with the incidence of dysmenorrhea (p>0.05). The results of the statistical test showed r = -0.039, which means that there is a weak relationship in a negative direction between the incidence of dysmenorrhea and the frequency of carbohydrate consumption, and p = 0.726, which means that there is a relationship but not significant. This study also shows the results of statistical tests r = -0.036 and p = 0.743, which means that there is a weak and insignificant relationship between the incidence of dysmenorrhea and the frequency of consumption of caffeine sources.Conclusion: Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the incidence of dysmenorrhea in most respondents is in the moderate level category and the nutritional status of respondents is generally in the normal category.
