Abstract

The research aims to scientifically determine the effect of hadang game training on dribbling agility. This type of research is experimental design and the research design used is one group pretest-posttest design. This research was carried out in the fields of SDN 81 Rejang Lebong in 2022. The population in this study were futsal extracurricular students at SDN 81 Rejang Lebong. The samples taken in this research were 30 students. The research uses an experimental method where the statistical analysis used in this research is the t test. As for the calculation results between the initial test and the final test, there is a significant influence. The calculation results state that the value of tcount = 23.697 > ttable = 1.699 with a level of α = 0.05, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.Based on the results of research conducted, the hadang game has an influence on ball dribbling agility in extracurricular futsal at SDN 81 Rejang Lebong. Futsal extracurricular students' dribbling agility increased after receiving treatment in the form of a game of hadang.

Abstract

This study describes junior high school students’ sports satisfaction in physical education classes. Using a quantitative descriptive approach with a cross-sectional survey design, the study involved 234 junior high school students enrolled in physical education subjects. The Sports Satisfaction Instrument (SSI) was administered to collect data related to students’ levels of sports satisfaction during PE learning. The results were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques, with satisfaction levels categorized into very high, high, medium, low, and very low. The findings revealed that 224 students were in the very high satisfaction category, eight students were in the high category, two students were in the medium category, and none were classified as low or very low. Overall, these results indicate that junior high school students in Bengkulu City experience sports satisfaction at a very high level. This study provides a strong foundation for developing and maintaining a pleasant, engaging, and sustainable physical education environment that supports students’ positive experiences and participation.

Abstract

Physical condition is an important factor influencing volleyball performance, particularly in competitive events such as POMNAS 2025. An evaluation of athletes’ physical profiles is necessary to identify strengths and weaknesses that may affect performance during competition. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze the physical condition of volleyball athletes from Sriwijaya University participating in POMNAS 2025. This study employed a quantitative descriptive method involving 12 male volleyball athletes. The instruments used were based on the standards of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, including tests of flexibility (sit and reach), muscular strength (push-up, sit-up, and left-right hop tests), explosive power (vertical jump and medicine ball throw), speed (20 m sprint), agility (shuttle run), and endurance (beep test). The findings revealed that several physical components were still categorized as low, particularly flexibility, speed, and endurance. In contrast, upper-body strength showed relatively better results, while explosive power and agility were generally in the adequate category. These findings indicate that the athletes possess varying levels of physical readiness, with some components still requiring improvement to support optimal volleyball performance. In conclusion, the physical condition of the athletes has not yet reached an optimal level in several key components. Therefore, coaches are recommended to develop more structured and specific training programs focusing on flexibility, speed, and endurance enhancement to improve competitive performance.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of repetitive target game drill training on the long forehand serve ability of students participating in badminton extracurricular activities at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Hilal Senuro. The research employed a quantitative approach using a one-group pretest-posttest experimental design. A total of 30 students were selected as the sample and were given repetitive target game drill training to improve their serving skills. The data on long forehand serve ability were analyzed using a One Sample t-test to examine the improvement in performance after the treatment was applied. The results showed a calculated t value of –26.625 with 29 degrees of freedom (df) and a significance value (p) < 0.001, which was lower than the significance level of 0.05. These findings indicate that repetitive target game drill training significantly improved the long forehand serve ability of students participating in the badminton extracurricular program at MA Nurul Hilal Senuro. Thus, the repetitive target game drill method can be considered an effective training approach for enhancing long forehand serve performance in badminton.
