The purpose of this study was to determine the level of application of digital literacy in schools in the context of implementing an independent curriculum towards 21st century skills for students in border areas. The research was conducted through a combination of qualitative research methods with case study analysis. The stages of the research were carried out by gathering the data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires, interviews and field observations and then presented in a descriptive manner. The distribution of the questionnaire was carried out on June 8, 2023, while observations and interviews were carried out on June 15 and 16, 2023. The research was conducted on grade 4 and 5 students at SDN 01 Bengkayang, West Kalimantan, in the border area, with 45 students as respondents. The results of data acquisition through questionnaires, observations and interviews show that the integration of digital literacy in the implementation of the independent curriculum has been carried out in schools, in the evidentiary questionnaire can be seen in answers no. 8-10 with an average percentage, agree 70.00%. The effectiveness of implementing the integration of digital literacy and the independent curriculum can be seen from the level of students' understanding of questions no. 1-3 with an average percentage of 75.00% agree. Meanwhile, regarding the availability of supporting facilities in the successful implementation of the independent curriculum, especially the process of integrating digital literacy and their campus, the respondents' answers showed that they were still inadequate with a percentage of 70.00%. The data from the questionnaire results were then strengthened by findings during observations and interviews where in the learning process an integration process of digital literacy was carried out in classroom learning through the implementation of an independent curriculum, while the availability of supporting facilities was still very minimal, this was in line with the results of the research questionnaire.

This research investigates the perspective of Saint John of the Cross regarding encounters with God through the lenses of Faith, Hope, and Love, as elucidated in the renowned work titled "The Impact Of God" authored by Iaian Matthew. The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of these encounters on an individual's spiritual existence. The research employed methodologies such as literature review and textual analysis. The findings of this investigation reveal that faith, hope, and love serve as pivotal avenues for encountering God. Through enriching the spiritual experiences of individuals and guiding them towards a deeper comprehension of the divine, these encounters engender substantial transformation. According to Saint John of the Cross, faithfulness in faith, unwavering hope, and profound love are indispensable prerequisites for attaining an intimate encounter with God. This article underscores the significance of encountering Allah in these three dimensions and highlights its profound impact on an individual's life. Consequently, a profound understanding of encountering God through Faith, Hope, and Love can serve as a wellspring of inspiration for individuals seeking to nurture their spiritual journey.

Today Christians has faced various challengge that plunge many christian into consumerism, terrible sadness, hedonism and covetous. As the result many christian become selfish, irritable, and egoist. For that reason, Pope Francis urged many preachers should work hard in proclaiming the gospel especially through homilies because homilies beyond all form of catechesis. This paper aims to explore Pope Francis' theological ideas about concerning homily. In a way of exploring the theological conception regarding homily, the writer treats the apostolic exhortation of evangelii Gaudium article number 135-159.

Semua orang yang dibaptis dipangil untuk menjadi kudus. Panggilan kepada kekudusan dilihat sebagai sebuah “exodus” dari dari sendiri. “Exodus” dalam arti bahwa seseorang harus dapat meninggalkan segala meuju segala, kata St Yohanes dari Salib. Pertanyaannya, bagaimana supaya seseorang bisa “exodus”? Bagaimana seseorang bisa tahu jalan menunju ke puncak gunung? Menjawab pertanyaan ini, kita berangkat dari ajaran St Yohanes dari Salib tentang pembimbing rohani. Dalam perjalanan menunju kekudusan diperlukan kehadiran seorang pembimbing rohani. Pembimbing rohani, hadir sebagai pemandu menuju ke puncak gunung. Puncak dari perjalanan jiwa adalah persatuan dengan Allah.

Eutanasia dan bunuh diri yang dibantu adalah salah satu topik tentang akhir hidup manusia yang banyak diperdebatkan dalam bidang medis, moral, agama, hukum, politik, ilmu sosial di dunia internasional. Gereja Katolik dengan tegas menolak kedua jalan yang keliru ini. Salah satu pertanyaan yang dapat diajukan ialah: apa yang mendorong mereka menempuh jalan ini? Salah seorang yang memberikan argumen ialah Susan Windley-Daoust. Ia meyakini bahwa bunuh diri yang dibantu dan eutanasia adalah realitas yang harus disikapi melalui hati manusia. Masalahnya terletak pada hati manusia. Tentu banyak jalan untuk mengolah hati manusia. Dalam artikel ini, diyakini bahwa hati manusia dapat dikuatkan melalui bimbingan Santo Yohanes dari Salib, guru hidup rohani. Metode yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah studi pustaka.

This study aims to determine the consistency of the implementation of sanitation, especially the habit of washing hands with soap (CTPS) and the 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) waste management method in elementary schools in border areas. In carrying out the research it was found that the level of understanding of elementary school students in border areas about sanitation was still very low with a percentage reaching 70.00%, this was in line with the practice of implementing sanitation in schools which was still quite low, especially in the practice of washing hands with soap (CTPS) and maintaining cleanliness. waste reached 60.00%. While the results of a questionnaire with teacher respondents showed an understanding level of sanitation reaching 70.00%, this is in line with the practice of maintaining sanitation in the form of Hand Washing with Soap (CTPS) reaching 80.00%, but at the point of waste processing specifically with the 3R method (Reduce , Reuse, Recycle) garbage, 80.00% of respondents' answers did not understand the method. The linearity of the answers from the two respondent subjects on the activity of maintaining sanitation in schools consistently answered that it had not been carried out properly with a percentage of 70.00%. This is then clarified by the results of observations and interviews which show the practice of maintaining sanitation in the form of Hand Washing with Soap (CTPS) processing 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) waste. In the 3 elementary schools in the border area which were the observation sites, there was consistency with the facts on the ground that the implementation of sanitation in the form of Hand Washing with Soap (CTPS) processing 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) waste post-Covid 19 had not been carried out.

The Eucharist has a deep meaning; understanding this will help Catholics to live it more deeply. One of the meanings of the Eucharist can be explored by knowing that the Eucharist has its roots in the Jewish Passover tradition. This article aims to discuss the historical and theological relationship between the Jewish Passover tradition and the Eucharist in the Catholic Church. The method used is a literature study. The article explains that the Eucharist has its roots in three main concepts of the Jewish tradition: heavenly manna, the bread of the Divine presence, and communion. These meanings can contribute to increasing the awareness and faith of the people in celebrating the Eucharist.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Catholic Church's pastoral care for marriage in traditional marriages of the Dayak Banyadu people in Banyuke Hulu, West Kalimantan. The study was conducted using a mixed methods research method with a sequential explanatory design. The results showed that the level of respondents' understanding of the Dayak Banyadu traditional marriage procession and Church marriage law reached a very good percentage (80.00%), indicating adequate understanding among traditional leaders. However, the evaluation of the effectiveness of the Catholic Church's legal care for marriage still showed less than optimal results. This finding was reinforced by the results of interviews with three key informants who consistently stated that the care had not been effective. Field observations confirmed that the process of integrating Catholic Church marriage law into the Dayak Banyadu traditional marriage procession had been implemented.

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi literasi pada siswa kelas V sdn 07 Dungkan wilayah perbatasan Indonesia-Malaysia. Pendampingan dilakukan dengan metode PTK dengan menerapkan model siklus yang mana dibagi dalam 2 tahap dan masing-masing tahap terdiri dari 3 kali pendampingan lapangan. Pendampingan dilakukan pada bulan Agustus dengan mitra sasaran siswa kelas V berjumlah 27 Siswa. Pada akhir kegiatan tim melakukan evaluasi dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa angket yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil analisis angket menunjukan adanya peningkatan pemahaman mitra dan efektivitas pendampingan dengan rata-rata jawaban responden mencapai 80,00%. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaan pendampingan berjalan sangat efektif dan memberikan peningkatan pada pemahaman mitra.
