Abstract

Background: The prevalence of mother-to-child transmission (MTCT) of HIV/AIDS is increasing, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. Most previous studies focused on pregnant women in antenatal care, but this study examined the early phases of non-married women, which are young adults. Objective: This study aimed to examine the factors associated with knowledge MTCT of HIV/AIDS among young adults in Indonesia. Methods: This study used secondary data from the Special Indonesia Demographic Health Survey (IDHS), also known as the Indonesia Young Adult Reproductive Health Survey (IYARHS). The unit of analysis in this study is a non-married young adult aged 14 to 24 from 34 provinces in Indonesia. The final samples brought into the analysis were 9,600 women. The univariate analysis, bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square test, and multivariate analysis using binary logistic regression were done using the STATA 17 version licensed by the Institute for Population and Social Research, Mahidol University. Results: This study revealed that 33.75% of the respondents had poor knowledge of the MTCT of HIV/AIDS. Moreover, the factors found to be significantly associated with knowledge of MTCT of HIV/AIDS were age (19 to 24 years old), residence in an urban area, graduation from junior high school, senior high school, academy, and university, and also those who talked about sexual matters with friends. Conclusion: This study suggests supporting and encouraging related stakeholders in order to provide education about MTCT in the early years of adulthood so the prevention program can be applied more easily.

Conclusion: Online learning has several impacts on students. This can be prevented, one of them is by socializing literacy about the impact of using social media on mental health and academic performance through literacy modules with the aim that learning can be sought to be well received by students without reducing the essence of education itself.

Abstract

Islamic education is an effort of physical and spiritual guidance at the level of individual and social life to develop human nature based on Islamic laws towards the formation of an ideal human being (insan kamil) who has a Muslim personality and commendable morals and is obedient to Islam so that he can achieve happiness in the world and the hereafter. The family is the first place where the education process takes place. Then continued with school and society. The difficulties in carrying out the task of educating are very pronounced, especially when faced with the reality that the influence of the environment is so strong, even surpassing the strength of other educational factors. At times like that, parents as the first educational force in the family environment must realize their role as educators completely towards their children. Departing from that background, the author then wants to discuss it in a thesis entitled "Islamic Education from the Perspective of Zakiah Daradjat". The purpose of this study is to determine the concept of Islamic education by Zakiah Daradjat which includes: the definition of Islamic education, the responsibility of Islamic education, the educational environment, and the concept of Islamic education according to Zakiah Daradjat. This research is a Library Research, meaning pure literature (looking for books and relevant books) with the title of the thesis. And using the Content Analysis technique means analyzing the contents of books that are relevant to the title and sourced from the results of library data collection. With the Descriptive Critical Analysis method, it means describing human ideas. In this case, tracing the theme raised which is related to this research, namely the concept of Islamic Education. The collected research data was analyzed using a deductive and inductive approach. The concept of Zakiah Daradjat, especially about Islamic education, shows that in the first stage of education there are dimensions in humans, namely; physical, intellectual, faith, morals, spiritual, beauty, social-community dimensions. And related to the responsibility of education in Islam which is held by parents, teachers and society, where all of that later their children will become the successors of their family, religion and country.

Abstract

Exclusive breastfeeding is essential for infant growth and immunity, yet its implementation remains suboptimal. Psychosocial factors, particularly maternal anxiety and perceived social support, are believed to influence breastfeeding behavior. This study aimed to examine the relationship between anxiety and social support with exclusive breastfeeding among postpartum mothers. A cross-sectional analytical study was conducted involving 120 postpartum mothers at Citra Arafiq Hospital, Depok. Samples were selected using purposive sampling. Anxiety was measured using the Zung Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS/ SRAS), and social support was evaluated using the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS). To analyze the data, the Spearman rank correlation test was used. The results showed a strong negative connection between anxiety and exclusive breastfeeding (ρ = 0.000; r = -0.577), the term negative indicates the opposite direction of the relationship, while strong indicates that the relationship is significant or has a major impact. It means that people with higher anxiety were less likely to exclusively breastfeed. Conversely, a significant positive correlation was found between social support and exclusive breastfeeding (ρ = 0.000; r = -0.487), suggesting that greater support increases the likelihood of successful exclusive breastfeeding. In conclusion, maternal anxiety and social support are significantly associated with exclusive breastfeeding practices. These findings highlight the need for comprehensive postpartum care that includes emotional support and anxiety reduction interventions to improve breastfeeding outcomes.
