Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis perilaku dinamis dan stabilitas struktur rumah adat bugis yang tahan terhadap beban gempa. Menggunakan kayu Bitti (Vitex cofassus) dan kayu Ipi (Intsia bijuga O.K) sebagai bahan utama rumah adat Bugis dalam penelitian ini. Sebuah model dengan skala penuh dari rumah struktur untuk menganalisis perilaku dinamis dan stabilitas struktur, termasuk sambungan balok-kolom menggunakan SAP2000 dengan berbagai beban berdasarkan SNI 1727:2013, Spesifikasi Desain Indonesia untuk Beban Desain Minimum untuk Bangunan dan Struktur Lainnya. Mempertimbangkan perkembangan zaman, penelitian ini menggunakan jenis atap yang bervariasi, yaitu atap daun rumbia, atap seng, dan atap genteng. Response Spectrum digunakan untuk beban gempa pada struktur ini. Hasil gaya ultimit dari analisis SAP2000 akan dibandingkan dengan gaya nominal masing-masing komponen struktur, untuk menganalisis rasio tegangan akibat gaya internal. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kekuatan struktur kolom kurang kuat. Namun, anggota lain masih aman untuk digunakan, meskipun menggunakan atap yang berbeda. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa anggota Rumah Adat Bugis tidak sepenuhnya aman.

Abstract

Concrete is a versatile material that is widely used in the construction industry nowadays. However, reinforced concrete has durability issues due to corrosion, which can reduce the structure's service life. Corrosion occurs as a result of high water vapor levels in the environment, as well as extreme air changes accompanied by chloride ion intrusion at the marine environment. As a result, corrosion prevention is required to control the corrosion potential of steel reinforcement in newly fabricated reinforced concrete structures. In this study, corrosion prevention used bituminous-based anti-corrosion paint on the surface of steel reinforcement before fabricating the specimens. The corrosion test specimen is a 15cmx15cmx15cm cube mortar with two embedded steel bars placed 3cm and 5cm from the specimen's upper surface to simulate the thickness of the concrete cover. There are two types of reinforcement treatment variations, with or without anti-corrosion coating at the steel bar surface, each variation consist of three specimens. This study also tested the mechanical properties of concrete, such as flow table, compressive strength, split tensile, density, and shrinkage. The half-cell potential method was used to observe the probability of corrosion for 28 days during the concrete curing period using the water immersion method. According to the corrosion probability test results, the steel reinforcement using bituminous-based anti-corrosion paint had a lower corrosion potential value than the specimen that did not receive coating. Furthermore, specimens with a concrete cover of 5 cm have a lower corrosion potential value than specimens with a concrete cover of 3 cm

Abstract

Setelah berakhirnya Covid-19, perlu dilakukan pendampingan kepada anak didik dalam menyesuaikan diri dengan masa kenormalan baru. Proses adaptasi dari daring ke luring menimbulkan kesulitan bagi anak-anak. Salah satu kuncinya adalah pola asuh yang berperan penting dalam perkembangan anak usia dini, termasuk karakter anak. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pola asuh dengan mendorong partisipasi orang tua dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar anaknya. Sosialisasi terkait parenting, kegiatan menyiapkan sarapan bersama, dan mengajar wali murid dilakukan. Dengan adanya kegiatan tersebut diharapkan komunikasi dan pola asuh yang efektif antara orang tua dan anak dapat memperlancar proses belajar mengajar di sekolah.

Abstract

Desa Sarwodadi, Pejawaran, Banjarnegara memiliki potensi ekonomi dari penghasil komoditas, UMKM, dan wisata karena lokasinya yang menjadi daerah penyangga Kawasan wisata Dieng, Banjarnegara.  Dengan adanya potensi tersebut maka kebutuhan akan adanya kegiatan generasi muda yang berbasis entrepreneurship dan kreatifitas merupakan tuntutan di era digital ini. Apalagi minat generasi muda terhadap dunia digital memang sangat tinggi. Munculnya para pemuda yang memberikan pengaruh (influence) yang sukses di bidang digital semakin meningkatkan daya tarik. Hal tersebut juga terjadi pada pemuda yang ada di Desa Sarwodadi, Kecamatan Pejawaran, Kabupaten Banjarnegara, khususnya pemuda dan pemudi yang saat ini sedang bersekolah di MTs Muhammadiyah Sarwodadi, Pejawaran. Para siswa memiliki beberapa kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seperti tapak suci, HW, badminton, voli, dan PMR. Tetapi hanya tapak suci saja yang aktif dan berjalan secara regular diikuti siswa. Oleh karena itu, maka perlu dilakukan pengembangan jenis kegiatan ekstrakurikuler sesuai minat siswa dan memiliki keunggulan dalam peningkatan kemampuan siswa dan dapat memberikan value lebih. Di dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini mengambil tema pendampingan kegiatan siswa di sekolah tersebut yang berbasis creativepreneur. Adapun kegiatan meliputi kegiatan persiapan, kegiatan pelaksanaan penyuluhan, kegiatan evaluasi, dan pelaporan. Kegiatan persiapan meliputi observasi, pre-test, pemetaan minat dan bakat siswa, dan penentuan jenis program kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan digital dan kreativitas. Selain itu, kegiatan evaluasi berupa posttest, dan evaluasi dari para pihak yang terlibat. Semua kegiatan berjalan dengan baik dan berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, rangkaian kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa dari 8,2% menjadi 93%.   Sarwodadi Village, Pejawaran, Banjarnegara has economic potential from commodity producers, MSMEs, and tourism because of its location which is a buffer zone for the Dieng tourist area, Banjarnegara. With this potential, the need for youth-based activities based on entrepreneurship and creativity is a demand in this digital era. Moreover, the younger generation's interest in the digital world is very high. The emergence of young people who are successful influencers in the digital field further increases the attractiveness. This also happened to young people in Sarwodadi Village, Pejawaran District, Banjarnegara Regency, especially young people who are currently studying at MTs Muhammadiyah Sarwodadi, Pejawaran. The students have several extracurricular activities such as Tapak Suci, HW, badminton, volleyball, and PMR. But only the sacred site is active and runs regularly followed by students. Therefore, it is necessary to develop types of extracurricular activities according to students' interests and have advantages in increasing students' abilities and can provide more value. In this community service activity, the theme of mentoring student activities at the school is creativepreneur based. The activities include preparation activities, extension activities, evaluation activities, and reporting. The preparatory activities include observation, pre-test, mapping of students' interests and talents, and determining the type of activity program related to digital and creativity. In addition, evaluation activities are in the form of posttest, and evaluation of the parties involved. All activities went well and based on the evaluation results, this series of activities could increase students' knowledge from 8.2% to 93%.

Abstract

Building maintenance is vital to ensure facility reliability, security, and investment value, as neglect can lead to structural decay and safety hazards. This study aims to assess the deterioration level of sports facilities at PT SIER and devise an efficient maintenance plan. The process involves identifying structural damages, evaluating deterioration following guidelines, and planning maintenance actions. Subsequent steps include budgeting, creating Work Plans and Specifications, estimating Domestic Component Levels, and scheduling using the S-Curve. Analysis reveals varying degrees of architectural degradation, ranging from 1 to 3, signifying serious damage. The estimated total cost for upkeep and development is Rp 255,718,000, with a projected minimum Duty and Customs Levies value of 30.43%. Maintenance duration is estimated at 45 days, managed using the S-Curve method.

Abstract

This research showcased the use of leftover trash as a substitute for aggregate in mortar combined with saltwater. The raw waste materials underwent analysis using X-ray fluorescence (XRF) in order to determine the component materials and crystalline phases present. The choice of Portland composite cement (PCC) was made because of its durability in a hostile environment. Seawater is used to combat the water crisis and prevent corrosion, thanks to its exceptional resistance to corrosion. The attributes of mortar were assessed in terms of its fresh characteristics (slump and flow table) as well as its mechanical properties (compressive strength, split tensile strength, flexural strength, density, and shrinkage). The findings indicate that the dried mortar waste is suitable as a patch repair material for a substrate with a strength of 20 MPa, but only when utilized in a maximum quantity of 20% and with a water-to-cement ratio of 0.3. The repaired concrete with a strength of 25 MPa did not need any waste containment and had a maximum water-to-cement ratio (W/C) of 0.3, whether combined with saltwater or tap water. The possible role of the mortar containing the dried waste was to be the species for brick and other non-structural. Additionally, the use of an alternative cementitious substance is suggested to enhance the effectiveness of the patch repair material, particularly when paired with cathodic corrosion protection in damaged concrete

Abstract

Korosi tulangan pada struktur beton merupakan salah satu penyebab kerusakan yang paling berdampak di dunia. Oleh karena itu, banyak peneliti terdahulu yang telah mencari unknown mechanism terkait ptoses terjadinya korosi, efek kerusakan struktur akibat korosi terhadap kapasitas dan kinerjanya, dan metode intervensi atau perbaikan akibat kerusakan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perilaku lentur pada struktur balok beton bertulang dengan tingkat korosi tulangan longitudinal hingga 50%.   Kuat tekan pada material beton tersebut adalah 30MPa, tegangan leleh pada tulangan utama dan tulangan samping adalah 420 MPa dan 280 MPa untuk tulangan sengkang. Dua jenis pembebanan yaitu beban titik dan beban merata yang didesain berdasarkan SNI 2847-2019 diaplikasikan pada permukaan atas struktur balok. Analisis penampang balok dilakukan dengan program Response-2000. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut didapatkan bahwa level korosi 40% merupakan tingkat kritis dan kinerja struktur balok menurun secara signifikan akibat bebam merata yang bekerja dan tingkat korosi 30% merupakan tingkat kritis akibat beban titik yang dapat diindikasi dari nilai dekfleksi, momen kurvatur, pola retak, dan lebar retak.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of the construction sector has escalated cement use, significantly impacting the environment due to CO2 emissions. Geopolymers are eco-friendly construction materials designed to reduce cement use and have the potential to be a patching material to rehabilitate concrete structures due to corrosion damage. Among these, pozzolanic materials like rice husk ash, rich in aluminosilicate, are abundant and suitable for geopolymer binders. This study explored the use of rice husk ash and alkali activators (NaOH/Na2SiO3), with different activator percentages (40%, 45%, and 50%), to evaluate their mechanical properties and potential applications as patch repair materials. This research involved formulating an optimal mix design through trial and error in a laboratory setting, followed by curing at 70 °C and testing at room temperature. XRF and SEM-EXD analyses were performed to determine the chemical composition and microstructure of the specimens. The activators, NaOH and Na2SiO3, were employed in a 1:3.5 ratio, with 14M molarity and 2% superplasticizer, to enhance workability. The test yielded the geopolymer mortar’s highest compressive strength of 8.14 MPa at a 40% activator variation. In comparison, the highest split tensile and flexural strengths were 2.50 MPa and 1.00 MPa, respectively, both at a 50% variation. These findings demonstrated the suitability of the mortar for patch repair on concrete substrates with compressive strengths below 8 MPa. The mechanical properties of the rice husk ash geopolymer mortar were influenced by the silica, calcium, and alkali activator content, affecting the mortar’s strength and density.

Abstract

Corrosion of concrete reinforcement can reduce the service life of buildings, especially in aggressive environments such as coastal areas, where salt content and high humidity accelerate corrosion. Sacrificial Anode Cathodic Protection (SACP) is a commonly utilized method of protecting structures from corrosion by using metals such as zinc (Zn), aluminum (Al), and magnesium (Mg) as sacrificial anodes. However, the high cost of these metals has prompted research into more economical and environmentally friendly alternatives. In this study, recycled aluminum from the beverage can waste was melted at 600˚C and then formed into a circle with a diameter of 11 cm to investigate the utilization and effectiveness of recycled aluminum compared to zinc as a sacrificial anode in the SACP process. The measurement of corrosion potential involved the assessment of current density, on-potential, off-potential, rest-potential, and depolarization. The recycled aluminum anode exhibited a depolarization value of 680 mV, demonstrating that waste cans could serve as an effective sacrificial anode to protect concrete structures.
