Abstract

The performance of Islamic banking in Indonesia continues to improve year after year, but the market share of conventional banking that continues to dominate demonstrates that the existence of Islamic banking in Indonesia's dual banking system is still in the shadow of conventional banking. The goal of this research is to look at how customer perceptions of Islamic service quality affect customer satisfaction and loyalty to Islamic banks in Indonesia. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS as an analysis tool is used in data analysis procedures. According to the study's findings, the quality of Islamic services has a positive and significant influence on customer happiness and loyalty, and customer satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on customer loyalty. These findings highlight the need for evaluating service quality in the context of Islamic banks. If the compliance dimension is thoroughly implemented in the operation of the Islamic banking firm, Islamic banking can have a competitive advantage over conventional banking.

Abstract

Understanding fiqh law and Qur'an education is a very important education to be taught. Fiqh punishes obligatory 'ain for everyone to study the Qur'an. Understanding the jurisprudence and education of the Qur'an is also prioritized to be taught when a human being is still in childhood. In Ponorogo itself, there are many Qur'an Education established by the Government and the private sector. Of the many existing Qur'an Educational Institutions, there are various methods applied in teaching the Qur'an to students, such as the Ummi, Ottoman and even classical methods. The success of each method used certainly depends on various factors. Meanwhile, the understanding of fiqh law can be inserted in the study of the Qur'an. In order to realize success in providing understanding and education of the Qur'an, Academicians of the Riyadlotul Mujahidin Ngabar Ponorogo Islamic Religious Institute (IAIRM Ngabar) and several students who were divided into several groups then assisted in understanding fiqh law and learning the Qur'an at TPQ Roudlotul Jannah which was located in Carangejo Village, Sampung District, Ponorogo Regency. The assistance carried out was carried out by introducing fiqh law and Ottoman methods and began by analyzing what factors were obstacles in learning fiqh law and the Qur'an in the village. The results of the mentoring have a positive impact with the increasing enthusiasm of students in learning fiqh law and Qur'anic.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the workplace environment in shaping innovative worker behavior. The method used in this research is a mixed method with a Literature Study (SLR) approach. The quantitative method in this research focuses on numerical or statistical data (e.g., number of publications, citation frequency, publication trends, and methodology trends). The qualitative method analyses the content of existing articles or literature (e.g., concepts, themes, and contexts underlying existing research). It identifies trends that may not be visible from mere numerical data. The data sources in this study were taken from the Scopus database and Google Scolar, which included the keywords “Workplace Environment” AND “Innovative Behaviour”. The study analyzed 79 articles published in reputable international journals from 2015-2023. The research found four main streams in the workplace environment and innovative behavior research: (1) a focus on individuals as agents of innovation, which dominated the 2015-2018 period; (2) an emphasis on the relationship between individuals and organizations that emerged in 2019-2020, where human resource management plays an essential role in supporting innovation; (3) attention shifted to organizations, focusing on collective innovation processes in 2021-2022; and (4); the most recent research (2023) again highlighted individuals as key catalysts of innovation, underlining the importance of the role of individuals in fostering creativity in the work environment.

Abstract

Of the many cases of dispensation from marriage, it is known that the bride-to-be is already pregnant, while the man as the groom-to-be is willing to marry for responsible reasons. Of course, this is considered morally right, but if viewed from a gender perspective, even if the marriage takes place, a series of accompanying problems will arise, including divorce, violence and gender injustice against women. From the data that the researchers found at the Religious Court class 1A in Ponorogo Regency, from 2021 to 2022 there were 345 cases of dispensation of marriage, of which more than 125 cases were filed because the prospective bride was pregnant. Furthermore, from the reports of the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) POLRES Ponorogo, it was also found that there were approximately 9 cases of violence against female partners who did dispensation of marriage. This is certainly interesting to study considering the cases that occurred showed that there was both physical and sexual violence that occurred in underage marriages. This study aims to examine women's rights by looking at the role of men and alternative solutions in preventing acts of violence against women in marriage dispensation couples with a gender perspective. Furthermore, the research was carried out by interviews and direct observation and also supported by existing secondary data. From this research, it can be concluded that the role of men must be taken into account by being responsible for marrying the woman they are pregnant with in preventing violence, while alternative solutions must continue to be actualized by maximizing the role of stakeholders in preventing violence against women.

Abstract

The organization must cultivate job happiness for each employee to enhance the quality of its human resources. This research seeks to examine and evaluate job satisfaction as a determinant affecting the decision to resign among bank employees following a merger. The research employed qualitative methodologies through phenomenological study approaches. The research participants comprised three former bank employees aged 25 to 35, each with over three years of experience. The sampling strategy employed was purposeful, based on certain criteria, including experience in a merged bank and the decision to resign. Data collection was performed utilizing semi-structured in-depth interviews as the methodological instrument. The collected data were analyzed employing thematic analysis techniques to discern the principal themes associated with job satisfaction. The research findings reveal that key aspects influencing job satisfaction, including leadership, compensation, career advancement, and workload, have diminished following the merger. These circumstances compelled employees to choose resignation. This study concludes that job happiness significantly impacts employee decisions, particularly during organizational upheavals like mergers. This research suggests that organizations should prioritize employee job satisfaction to mitigate turnover and enhance human resource management successfully.

Abstract

The growing emphasis on urban management has driven a trend toward city branding to enhance the city attractiveness. This study investigates the influence of city branding on the city"™s brand identity and brand image, and tourists"™ visiting decision. This study was done in a quantitative approach. The data was collected by distributing online questionnaire, targeting visitors of Yogyakarta city. A total of 216 respondents participated in this study, obtained using a purposive sampling method. The data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) in AMOS 21.0. The results show that the city branding directly influences the brand identity and visiting decision, but does not directly influence the brand image. Furthermore, the brand identity has a positive, significant and direct influence on the brand image and visiting decision. The brand identity mediates the influence of city branding on the visiting decision. The brand identity also mediates the influence of city branding on the brand image. Lastly, the brand image mediates the influence of brand identity on the visiting decision.JEL: M30, M31, M39.

Abstract

aw Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection emphasizes that the state, society, and family share responsibility for ensuring children’s protection, including within Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). However, instances of violence against students—many of whom are still children—highlight the need for approaches grounded in moral and spiritual values. This study aims to explore how kiai wisdom values contribute to reducing violence against children in pesantren, analyzed through the perspective of Law Number 35 of 2014. Employing a qualitative field research method, primary data were collected from kiai at Pondok Pesantren Tahfidzul Qur’an Rodliyatan Mardiyah, Ngoro District, Jombang, while secondary data involved santri, ustadz/ustadzah, murobbi, and walisantri. The data were analyzed deductively using the theory of kiai wisdom values and child protection law. The findings show that moral education based on kiai wisdom—such as prohibiting harsh speech, promoting gentleness, and emphasizing ethical behavior—effectively reduces both verbal and physical violence among students. These practices align with the Child Protection Law, ensuring children’s right to safety within educational environments. The study contributes to understanding how traditional Islamic educational values can synergize with national legal frameworks to foster child protection and character development in pesantren.

Abstract

The marketing type that is found on social media today is celebrity endorsement. To encourage consumer behavioural intention, luxury brand companies take several strategies, including using celebrity endorsers to introduce their brand and to build brand trust, brand attitude, and brand psychological ownership. This study aims to examine the influence of celebrity endorsers on behavioural intention through the mediation of brand trust, attitude, and psychological ownership. A total of 250 samples were determined by purposive sampling. This research used a quantitative approach and structural equation modelling (SEM) AMOS as a data analysis technique. The result showed a mediating effect of brand trust, attitude, and psychological ownership on the relationship between celebrity endorsers and behavioural intention.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perkembangan industri transportasi udara yang semakin berkembang, hal ini disebabkan oleh meningkatnya kebutuhan masyarakat untuk melakukan berbagai aktivitasnya seperti keperluan bisnis dan pariwisata. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, peneliti tertarik untuk menguji pengaruh kualitas produk, citra merek dan harga terhadap keputusan pembelian tiket pada maskapai Lion Air di Bandara Internasional Soekarno Hatta secara parsial dan simultan. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data dalam pengujian hipotesis penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada uji validitas dan reliabilitas semua variable terdiri dari kualitas produk, citra merek, harga, keputusan pembelian adalah valid dan reliabel. Pada uji t didapatkan hasil variabel kualitas produk, citra merek dan harga terdapat pengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian secara parsial. Lalu pada uji f untuk menguji variabel secara keseluruhan dimana variabel kualitas produk, citra merek, harga memberikan pengaruh terhadap variabel keputusan pembelian secara simultan. Hasil uji koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa kualitas produk, citra merek dan harga mampu menjelaskan variasi yang terjadi pada keputusan pembelian tiket pada maskapai Lion Air sebesar 60,3%

Abstract

Problematika hukum sangatlah beragam dan dinamis seiring perkembangan zaman. Hal demikian mendorong lahirnya terobosan hukum yang berkemajuan atau progresif untuk diimplementasikan. Sebagaimana kasus yang terjadi dalam permohonan penetapan asalusul anak yang diajukan pada Pengadilan Agama Ponorogo yang mana terdapat pasangan suami istri yang menjadi para pemohon dan meminta kepada Majelis Hakim agar anak mereka ditetapkan menjadi anak sah, namun dalam prakteknya anak tersebut lahir dari hasil pernikahan siri yang mana salah satu pihak masih terikat pernikahan sah dengan perempuan lain. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bagaimana penerapan hukum progresif terhadap dikabulkanya permohonan pengesahan asal-usul anak pasangan nikah siri oleh Hakim di Pengadilan Agama Kabupaten Ponorogo. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif (library reseach) dengan pendekatan sosio-legal appoarch. Dari penelitian ini dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa penerapan hukum progresif dalam kasus ini diimplementasikan melalui penetapan hukum guna merespon permasalahan hukum yang ada
