Abstract

Regional Disaster Management Agency (RDMA) workers must be on standby and respond for 24 hours, especially if there are emergency. This causes demands on workers and workers become fatigue. The aim of this study is to analyze the factors that influence work fatigue in Tuban Regency’s RDMA workers. This research includes analytical and observational with a cross sectional design. The study was conducted on 56 workers with a simple random sampling system. The dependent variable studied was physical and mental fatigue, while the independent variables consisted of work factors (working hours and workload), emotional demands (responsibility), and organizational demands (work shifts). Data collection was carried out by direct measurement, questionnaires, interviews, documentation and observation then processed with Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The factors that affect work fatigue are work factors (t statistics = 3.643 and p-values = 0.000) and organizational demands (t statistics = 3.086 and p-values = 0.002), while emotional demands have no effect (t statistics = 0.950 and p-values = 0.342). Loading factors of physical work fatigue (0.917) and mental work fatigue (0.916) are almost the same, so they have the same contribution as a measure of fatigue. Workers who experience work fatigue should conduct regular medical examinations, know the workload limit for one day, organize sufficient work time, regularly rotate work time, stretch in the middle of work activities, prepare work music and videos during breaks.

Abstract

Dengue hemorrhagic fever emerges in tropical countries like Indonesia. Bojonegoro is one of the highest districts with increased cases in East Java. The high incidence of dengue hemorrhagic fever in Bojonegoro is riveting to be explored related to some causative factors, including education and community behavior. Moreover, education affects an individual level of knowledge, which will impact a person's behavior that potentially affects the public health degree, especially the incidence of dengue hemorrhagic fever. This study aimed to determine the relationship between education and risky behavior in dengue hemorrhagic fever incidence in Mayangrejo Village, Bojonegoro Regency, East Java. A cross-sectional approach was used within a total population of 302 participants, and the Lemeshow sampling technique reached 67 respondents. Data were collected using a questionnaire distributed to residents' homes, while the Fisher's Exact Test was used for data analysis. The results showed a significant relationship between behavior and the incidence of dengue hemorrhagic fever (p-value = 0.024), and there was a relationship between education level and the incidence of the disease (p-value = 0.022). Performing health education and undertaking one House one Jumantik program is then recommended.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Hipertensi menjadi salah satu penyakit tidak menular yang menyebabkan kematian prematur di dunia. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari pengukuran tekanan darah pekerja PT Wijaya Triutama Plywood Industri Banjarmasin pada bulan Desember 2022, ditemukan bahwa sebanyak 21,4% pekerja tergolong normal, 54,5% pekerja tergolong prahipertensi, 23,2% pekerja tergolong hipertensi tingkat 1, dan 0,9% pekerja tergolong hipertensi tingkat 2. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor yang berhubungan dengan peningkatan tekanan darah pada pekerja di PT Wijaya Tirutama Plywood Industri Banjarmasin.Metode: Penelitian ini bersifat cross-sectional yang dilaksanakan di PT Wijaya Triutama Plywood Industri Banjarmasin pada bulan Maret 2023 dengan sampel sebanyak 30 orang yang diambil secara random sampling. Variabel independen pada penelitian ini adalah usia, Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT), masa kerja, shift kerja, kebiasaan merokok, konsumsi kafein, dan stres kerja. Variabel dependen pada penelitian ini adalah tekanan darah. Pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner karakteristik individu, kuesioner pengukuran stres kerja, dan alat pengukur tekanan darah digital. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi-square dan uji korelasi Spearman.Hasil: Hasil penelitian menemukan sebanyak 15 (50%) tekanan darah pekerja masuk ke dalam kategori prahipertensi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji statistik, ditemukan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT) (p=0,019) dengan tekanan darah.Kesimpulan: Hubungan yang signifikan dengan tekanan darah ditemukan pada variabel Indeks Massa Tubuh (IMT). Sebagai saran, perusahaan dapat merencanakan menu gizi seimbang dengan memperhatikan kandungan gizi untuk mengurangi hipertensi pekerja.Kata Kunci: Hipertensi, Indeks massa tubuh, Tekanan darah Background: Hypertension is one diseases that caused a worldwide premature death. Based on the data obtained from measuring the blood pressure of workers at PT Wijaya Triutama Plywood Industry Banjarmasin in December 2022, it was found that 21.4% of workers had normal blood pressure, 54.5% of workers had prehypertension, 23.2% of workers had stage 1 hypertension, and 0.9% of workers had stage 2 hypertension. This study aims to analyse factors which is corelated to the increase of PT Wijaya Triutama Plywood Industri workers’ blood pressure.Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted at PT Wijaya Triutama Plywood Industri Banjarmasin in March 2023 with a sample of 30 individuals which was determined by random sampling method. The independent variables were age, Body Mass Index (BMI), length of employment, work shifts, smoking habits, caffeine consumption, and work-related stress. The dependent variable in this study was blood pressure. Individual characteristic and stress measurement questionnaire along with digital blood pressure device were used in the data retrieval process. The Chi-square test and the Spearman correlation test were performed for data analysis.Results: This study discovered that 15 (50%) workers had prehypertension. Based on the statistical analysis, Body Mass Index (BMI) (p=0.019) had a significant correlation with blood pressure.Conclusion: The variable that had a significant correlation with blood pressure is Body Mass Index (BMI). Companies can plan a balanced nutritional menu by managing the nutritional content to reduce hypertension in workers.Keywords: Body mass index (BMI), Blood pressure, Hypertension

Abstract

Konstruksi merupakan salah satu sektor pekerjaan yangmemiliki tingkat risiko kecelakaan kerja yang tinggi. Pekerja konstruksi seringkali menghadapi berbagai hal seperti menghadapi beban kerja fisik berat, jam kerja panjang, serta kondisi lingkungan yang menantang, yang dapat berdampak negatif pada kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja. Kelelahan kerja merupakan salah satu permasalahan utama yang dihadapi oleh pekerja konstruksi, yang dapat berdampak pada penurunan kinerja dan peningkatan risiko kecelakaan kerja. Salah satu faktor yang berperan penting dalam timbulnya kelelahan kerja adalah kualitas tidur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau hubungan antara kualitas tidur dengan kelelahan kerja pada pekerja konstruksi melalui pendekatan literature review. Artikel ilmiah yang dianalisis berasal dari berbagai sumber seperti Google Scholar, PubMed, ScienceDirect, SINTA, dan Scopus dalam kurun waktu lima tahun terakhir (2021–2025). Hasil peninjauan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan antara kualitas tidur yang buruk dan meningkatnya tingkat kelelahan pada pekerja konstruksi. Faktor-faktor seperti kelelahan fisik, tekanan psikologis, kondisi lingkungan kerja, serta gaya hidup turut mempengaruhi kualitas tidur pekerja. Kelelahan yang tidak ditangani dengan baik dapat berdampak pada gangguan kesehatan fisik dan mental, serta meningkatkan risiko kecelakaan kerja. Oleh karena itu, manajemen proyek perlu memperhatikan kualitas tidur sebagai bagian dari strategi pencegahan kelelahan kerja di sektor konstruksi.

Abstract

Sektor informal adalah pekerjaan tanpa struktur organisasi, hanya didasari kesepakatan, dan tidak jelas dalam sistem pengupahannya. Pekerja di sektor informal menghadapi risiko kesehatan yang cukup besar, khususnya terkait kelelahan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis berbagai faktor yang berhubungan dengan kelelahan kerja pada pekerja di sektor informal melalui systematic literature review. Pencarian artikel dilakukan melalui Google Scholar dengan kata kunci “Kelelahan Kerja” dan “Pekerja Informal” pada publikasi berbahasa Indonesia periode 2021–2025. Sebanyak sepuluh artikel relevan dengan penelitian ini. Hasil telaah menunjukkan bahwa faktor internal yang berhubungan dengan kelelahan kerja adalah usia, status gizi, postur kerja, sikap kerja, kualitas tidur, tingkat kecemasan, dan kebiasaan merokok. Faktor pekerjaan yang berhubungan meliputi masa kerja, beban kerja, dan durasi kerja.Sedangkan, faktor lingkungan kerja yang berhubungan adalah iklim kerja dan kebisingan, sementara pencahayaan umumnya tidak berhubungan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kelelahan kerja pada pekerja sektor informal merupakan masalah multifaktorial, yang melibatkan aspek individu, tuntutan pekerjaan, dan faktor lingkungan.

Abstract

The reduction in stunting rates must be more comprehensive in overcoming it, because this case is one of the national priorities in terms of human resource development. So that in handling stunting cases in Surabaya using the "Kampung Emas" program based on strengthening the 5 pillars of handling stunting. The method of this activity is carried out by means of Focus Discussion Group (FGD), mentoring and monitoring of stunting toddlers, education with lecture methods, community visits, and local market surveys. The results of the implementation of the "golden village" program based on the 5 pillars of stunting management include: health cadres and the village have a commitment to resolve stunting cases, 9 children are classified as stunted, increasing the understanding of education participants to 98% after being given education, getting food ideas after surveying the local market, namely cork fish potato sticks and moringa leaves, and moringa leaf pudding as an innovative healthy menu so that stunting toddlers are not bored. From these various activities, it succeeded in graduating 1 child who was classified as stunted.
