Abstract

This research aims to conduct an analysis and identification of Quranic verses related to the teaching of mathematics in the Teacher Education Program for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (PGMI) State Islamic University of North Sumatra (UIN SU) in Medan. The objective is to develop a Quranic verse classification application on mathematics learning and assess the feasibility, effectiveness, and practicality of the produced product. The research employs the Research and Development (R&D) 4D Thiagarajan method, which includes the stages of defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. The Result 1) The understanding level of PGMI students showed improvement from the pre-test results. The experimental class increased from 55.84 in the pre-test to 85.12, while the control class increased from 67.82 to 70.52. 2) The design and development of the product began with the identification of measurable objectives for application creation, recognition of the target audience, design of features within the application, and selection of the technological platform supported by the application. 3) The product produced in this research is deemed highly feasible and practical after undergoing validity tests conducted twice. Content validity, assessed by experts, received scores of 3.35 for material (categorized as highly feasible) and 3.37 for design (categorized as highly feasible). Construct validity, with an alpha of 0.4330 (categorized as practical), and a t-test for the difference in results between the experimental group after (85.12) and the control group after (70.52) showed a confidence interval of 95% for the average difference as [-20.50, -8.69].

Abstract

The aim of the research is to find out how transdisciplinary-based Educational Administration teaching material development products are feasible, practical and how transdisciplinary-based Educational Administration teaching material development products are effective and produce attractive transdisciplinary-based Educational Administration learning material designs. The method used is the development research method. The research was conducted at the Islamic Religious Education study program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, North Sumatra State Islamic University, Medan. The collection instruments used were validation sheets and learning outcomes tests, while the data analysis techniques were expert assessment and statistical testing of the t test and N-gain. The research findings show that the teaching materials developed are suitable for use in teaching Educational Administration courses with a score of 3.45 in the appropriate category and a level of practicality with a score of 3.40. The practicality of transdisciplinary-based educational administration teaching materials can be seen from the students' learning activities during the learning process which have increased from the first observation to the second observation with the aspects observed. The practical and effective category for improving student learning outcomes with the N-Gain coefficient is 0.55 in the medium category. With the results of this research, lecturers are able to apply transdisciplinary-based teaching materials in other courses and can design/develop the required learning tools themselves by paying attention to the components of the teaching materials and the characteristics of the teaching materials to be developed.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of work teams and work motivation on teachers’ work commitment, with job satisfaction acting as a mediating variable, at State Islamic Senior High Schools (Madrasah Aliyah Negeri) in Langkat Regency, Indonesia. Employing a quantitative ex post facto design, data were collected from 191 teachers selected through proportional random sampling. The research instruments consisted of validated and reliable Likert-scale questionnaires, and the data were analyzed using path analysis with SPSS. The findings reveal that work teams and work motivation have significant positive effects on job satisfaction and work commitment. Job satisfaction emerges as the most dominant predictor of work commitment and significantly mediates the relationship between work teams, work motivation, and work commitment. Collectively, work teams, work motivation, and job satisfaction explain 78% of the variance in teachers’ work commitment. These results support the Integrated Model of Organizational Behavior, emphasizing the importance of both individual and organizational factors in fostering teacher commitment. The study highlights the need for strengthening collaborative work cultures, enhancing motivation, and improving job satisfaction to sustain teachers’ commitment and improve the quality of education in Islamic secondary schools.
