Abstract

            The purpose of the writing is to know: 1) the essence of school accreditation, 2) the basic  implementation of school accreditation, 3) how far implementation of school accreditation. School accreditation do every fifth year, statutory of UU sisdiknas n0. 20 tahun 2003 BAB  XVI Bagian Kedua Pasal 60(1), the aims of accreditation to determine expedience program and unit of education in formail education and nonformal education at every step. Do accreditation based:1) Undang Undang No. 20 Tahun 2003 Pasal 60, 2) Peraturana Pemerintah No. 19 Tahun 2005 Pasal 86 & 87, dan 3). Surat Keputusan Mendiknas No. 87/U/2002. Aplication of accreditation oftentimes be “ghost” unearthly to school who unseriously in application of education. So, they are (teachers and founders institution) gave chapter and verse autentik through a short cut. There are paid someone to do procesing data, there are do automatic acting with overtime-work for days, and many data manipulation. Evaluation data, process teaching and learning, or infrastruktur and grease to assessor. So it is need solution for realize the aims of accreditation.Keywords: school accreditation, education

Abstract

This research is taken because the result of students test in 2010/2011 was 69,4 in avarage (the minimum target was 75) with classical completeness 60% of 85%. There fore it is needed to do a research to improve the will and result of student in their study. This kind of research is called class action research by using 2 cycle models in quantitatif methode. Based on the result of the research, it is found the result  of students will to study in the cycle I found 3,7 in average with positive criteria and in cycle II found 4,3 in avarage with a very positive criteria. While the result of student study in the cycle I got 73,60 in avarage result with 88% classical completeness and in cycle II got 87,48 in avarage result with 96% classical completeness. From the cycle I and II data above, it can be conclueded that the three results are getting improved effisiently, they are the students will to study improve 13,95%, and the result of students study 15,87%, and the completeness of student study result 8,3%. By those result it is shown that the student are very interested to study with cooperative learning model type STAD by using puzzle media. Keywords : Learning of sains, type STAD with Puzzle Media

Abstract

         Education is a conscious and deliberate effort to create an atmosphere of learning and the learning process so that learners are actively developing the potential for him to have the spiritual strength of religious, self-control, personality, intelligence, good values, and skill that need him, society, nation and state ( Ministry of Education, 2003: 6). The formulation of this problem are: 1) Is the Jigsaw model can improve the learning activity of students in class VII student studying biology junior year Alhidayah Karangduren Lessons Balung 2011/2012?. 2) Is the Jigsaw model of learning can improve learning outcomes completeness biology class VII SMP Alhidayah karangduren Balung Academic Year 2011/2012?. This study aims to: 1) Assess the effectiveness of Jigsaw model of learning in improving student learning outcomes completeness class VII SMP Al-Hidayah Karangduren Lessons Balung year 2011/2012. 2) Assess the effectiveness of instructional models up grade Jigsaw in class VII student learning activities SMP Al-Hidayah Karangduren Lessons Balung year 2011/2012. By using the Jigsaw cooperative learning model, showed high learning outcomes, can be seen from the results of your analysis test on the subject of the previous gain (62.85%) compared to the type of cooperative learning jigsaw, the first to reach the cycle (71, 42%). And the cycle is continued on to the second cycle reached (91.42%) of students scoring above the minimum completeness criteria.  Kata kunci (key word) aktivitas, hasil belajar, jigsaw

Abstract

Indonesian people are not only familiar with terasi, but also enjoy its made products. Terasi is the product of processing fish or shrimp by giving salt & fermentation in the form of solid paste with a unique smell and taste. In Jember, it can be made of rebon shrimp (Mysis), citrus shrimp (Metapenaeus ensis), and reket shrimp (Atya sp.) with the general traditional methods. Terasi actually has a good nutrient, but it gives bad effects on the structure and function of liver. It’s proven by the result of the research on mouse (Mus musculus) Galur Balb-c with the treatment of giving two kinds of terasi.

Abstract

The research aims to produce the integrated instructional kitfor natural science based on guided inquiryand sets learning approachesin order to be able to increase science psychomotor process andstudents’cognitive learning result. This research uses 4D model development research design from Thiagarajan, that is limited only to the ‘develop’ level. The instructional kitdeveloped are validated by the expert in the instructional kit, the expert in the subject, the science teacher, and then practically tested to the students of class VIII of SMPN 2 Jember at 2013/2014. The validation test results from all validators show that theintegrated instructional kitfor natural science based on guided inquiry and sets learning approacheshas categorized sufficiently valid. The practical test results show that the integrated instructional kit for natural science based on guided inquiryand sets is effectively used on learning process because it is able to increase the science psychomotor process and students’cognitive learning result.Keywords: developing instructional kit, guided inquiry and sets learning approaches, science psychomotor process, students’ cognitive learning result.

Abstract

Specific targets are achieved from this research is to develop e-book in the smartphone as a medium of learning that is innovative as an attempt to renew following the progress of science and technology. The purpose long-term research is expected to reduce the burden of teachers in presenting the information in the study because it is represented by the e-book, can streamline and minimize the learning time because they do not have to carry a lot of books in the physical form of severe, and can help facilitate student learning for multimedia features can become a tutor. Analysis of the data in this research is the analysis of qualitative data obtained from the comments and suggestions of experts, while the quantitative data obtained from the results of the validation subject matter experts, and media specialists.Based on the validation results obtained materials experts concluded the average rate of 3.35 with product feasibility and based on the results obtained conclusions media expert validation average product eligibility rate of 3.67.Keywords: E-Book, epub, science

Abstract

Improving thestudents’ critical thingking attitude by using an inquiry-based students’ worksheet becomes the research objective by using 4D model development research design from Thiagarajan. The worksheet is validated by the expert andthe science teacher, and then it’s practically tested to thejunior high school students of class VIII. The validation resultsshow that the worksheet is categorized sufficiently valid. So even also with the results ofpractical test indicating that the worksheet is effectively used on learning process because of improving the students’ critical thingking attitude.Keywords: critical thinking attitude, inquiry-based worksheet, inquiry method.

Abstract

The development of information technology has influenced the use of various types of media as a tool in the learning process. Based on the observation of biology learning process,it is explained that many students who didn’t do the homework and follow the biology lesson while learning process run in the classroom which difficult to learn biology and the language within it difficult to understand were the reason of them, that way the average of student learning outcomes are still low below the standards of KKM values. So researchers used Macromedia flash application as an interactive media to improve the student learning outcomes. This research used Classroom Action Research with data obtained using quantitative data derived from the test of learning outcomes and qualitative data obtained from classroom teacher interviews, document archives and student questionnaires. This research used the purposive technique with the respondent in 22 students. Based on the results of the students' assessment on cycle 1 and cycle 2 decided the grade average increased from 75 to 84.2 %,meanwhile the completion of classical learning increased from 81% to 100% and the result of classical student percentage analysis has 68% with good enough criteria. Based on both of comparison can be concluded that macromedia flash can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Educations  is very important  to make a good or bad  of  individual innormative. Learn is a work or activites that apose to turn persons, also in turning behavior, attitudes, traditions, knowledges, and skill. This research attempts to increasing the activity of student learning to learn the matter of moving system  in plants on the Inquiry model. Type of research is use classroom actions research (CAR). The procedure use a cycle model, based on the result of research data showed 43,2% of student learning activity on the first cycle and 86% on the second cycle. While in the learning outcomes of students on the first cycle showed 46% and 81% on the second cycle. This case proves that the activity and learning outcomes of students can  increase by Inquiry model, make students think and  be active in the process of intelectual activity and learning experiences is something meaningfull in real life, tested by experimenting to answer questions that real, conclude hypotesis and conclusions.Keywords: Model  Inquiry Learning, Learning Activity

Abstract

The research aims to test the validity of attitude evaluation instrument in order to measure the students’ learning attitude in line with their positive respons to science instructionalbased on Discovery Learning Model. The type of the develpment research uses Thiagarajan 4D model development research design. The attitude evaluation instruments are validated by the theoritical expert and science teacher as the practical expert before being used experimentally to class VIIAstudents of Al – Maufijunior high school Tempurejo, Jember regency. The validation results of the attitude evaluation instruments developed have 3,58 score or categoried sufficenty valid and effective used to instructional process to arise curiosity, honesty, diligent, and critical attitudes. The effectivity of the instruments is proven by the students’ positive respons score up to 90, 63%.Keywords: evaluation instrument, attitude, Discovery Learning Method.
