Abstract

This study aims to prove that religious moderation is an important and urgent matter among students. Religious moderation will be seen in relation to multicultural education and Pancasila student profile. This study was conducted at Karitas Tomohon Catholic High School with 205 students as respondents. This study is a causality study using a quantitative approach. Before the data was analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis, data normality, data linearity and data multicollinearity tests were first carried out. From the results of the data analysis, the R value was obtained as 0.688 and R² as 0.473 with a significance of 0.000. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence of multicultural education and Pancasila student profile on religious moderation of Karitas Tomohon Catholic High School students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model and teacher professional competence on students' critical thinking skills at SMP Lokon St. Nikolaus Tomohon, both partially and simultaneously. The approach used is quantitative, with a population of 239 students and a sample of 149 respondents determined using the Slovin formula. The research instrument consists of a questionnaire with a Likert scale, and the analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that the PBL model partially influences students' critical thinking skills by 29.1% (moderate category), while teachers' professional competencies influence them by 11.6% (low category). Simultaneously, both variables contribute 42.1% to students' critical thinking skills, which is classified as good.

Abstract

Perubahan demografi yang ditandai dengan peningkatan jumlah lansia di Indonesia menuntut perhatian khusus dalam aspek sosial dan spiritual, termasuk dalam pelayanan pastoral di gereja. Salah satu bentuk pendampingan yang relevan adalah Sekolah Lansia, yang dirancang untuk membantu lansia menjalani masa tua secara bermakna dengan memperkuat iman, sosial, dan emosional mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pelaksanaan dan dampak dari Sekolah Lansia di Paroki Trinitas Mahakudus Paslaten. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, yang melibatkan 30 orang lansia sebagai sampel dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi kegiatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sekolah Lansia memberikan dampak positif bagi peserta, antara lain dalam peningkatan kepercayaan diri, penguatan iman, dan relasi sosial yang lebih baik. Kegiatan doa, pembacaan Kitab Suci, serta interaksi sosial yang terbentuk dalam Sekolah Lansia membantu lansia merasa lebih dihargai dan terlibat dalam kehidupan gereja. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Sekolah Lansia adalah model pendampingan pastoral yang efektif dan relevan, namun perlu dilanjutkan dan dikembangkan lebih lanjut untuk meningkatkan keberlanjutannya, dengan dukungan sumber daya yang memadai dan pelatihan bagi pendamping pastoral.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the reality of the use of learning media in improving student learning outcomes at Santa Bernadeth Kembes Catholic Junior High School and the supporting and inhibiting factors for the use of audiovisual learning media in improving student learning outcomes and efforts to use audiovisual learning media in improving student learning outcomes. technique/type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in qualitative research are Observation, Interview and Documentation. In this study, the main instrument is the author himself. The conclusion of the study consists of three parts. First: teachers realize that the use of audiovisual learning media is very important, but because of the obstacles that exist from teachers and students so that the use of audiovisual learning media is not optimal. second: Factors supporting the use of audiovisual learning media in improving student learning outcomes at Santa Bernadeth Kembes Catholic Junior High School, namely by utilizing the internet and the Whatsapp application so that teaching and learning activities continue. third: Efforts to use audiovisual learning media in improving student learning outcomes at Santa Bernadeth Kembes Catholic Junior High School, namely by utilizing existing supporting media in schools in the form of printed books so that teaching and learning activities continue.
