Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Bagaimana implementasi model experiential learning dalam pembelajaran PAK materi Budaya Kekerasan versus Budaya Kasih. (2). Unsur-unsur apa saja yang terkandung pada Model Experiential Learning Dalam Pembelajaran PAK Materi Budaya Kekerasan versus Budaya Kasih pada Siswa Kelas XI SMA Katolik Don Bosco Lembean, Minahasa Utara? (3). apa saja faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat dalam penerapan model experiential learning dalam pembelajaran PAK materi Budaya Kekerasan versus Budaya Kasih? Permasalahan tersebut dibahas melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif atas studi lapangan yang dilaksanakan di kelas XI SMA Katolik Don Bosco Lembean, data diperoleh menggunakan wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Semua data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model experiential learning merupakan sebuah model yang sangat cocok digunakan dalam pembelajaran PAK materi Budaya Kekerasan versus Budaya Kasih karena model tersebut menggunakan pengalaman peserta didik yang akhirnya dapat mempermudah pemahaman materi serta mengaktifkan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Hal ini terbukti dengan hasil kerja peserta didik di atas KKM (kriteria ketuntasan minimal). Selain itu model experiential learning bukan hanya mengutamakan pengalaman peserta didik saja namun membuat pengalaman baru yang berkesan pada diri peserta didik dan menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri pada peserta didik.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis 1) hubungan kompetensi pedagogik dengan kinerja guru di SMP Yayasan Pendidikan Katolik Manado Sulawesi Utara. 2) Hubungan iklim kerja dengan kinerja guru pada Yayasan Pendidikan Katolik Yayasan Pendidikan Katolik Manado Sulawesi Utara dan 3) Hubungan bersama antara kompetensi pedagogik dan iklim kerja dengan kinerja guru pada Yayasan Pendidikan Katolik Yayasan Pendidikan Katolik Manado Sulawesi Utara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei dengan menggunakan pendekatan korelasional. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa: 1) Terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi pedagogik guru dengan kinerja guru pada Yayasan Pendidikan Katolik Yayasan Pendidikan Katolik Keuskupan Sulewesi Utara yang ditunjukkan dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,697. 2) Terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara iklim kerja dengan kinerja guru di SMP Yayasan Pendidikan Keuskupan Katolik Manado yang ditunjukkan dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,762. 3) Terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan secara bersama-sama antara kompetensi guru dan iklim kerja dengan kinerja guru di SMP Yayasan Pendidikan Keuskupan Katolik Manado yang ditunjukkan dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,788.

Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas tentang interaksi sosial yang terjadi pada proses pembelajaran daring. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana interaksi sosial yang terjadi selama pembelajaran daring berlangsung di Sekolah Dasar Don Bosco Koha, serta melihat apa saja kendala yang menjadi penyebab cultural lag selama pembelajaran daring diberlakukan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori cultural lag dari William Fielding Ogburn. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam kasus pembelajaran daring ini interaksi yang terjadi selama proses pembelajaran terbilang sangat minim. Terbukti dengan tidak adanya aktivitas kelompok yang biasanya dilakukan. Interaksi yang terjadi lebih sering menggunakan whatsaap dibandingkan interaksi secara virtual menggunakan zoom. Hal tersebut membuktikan adanya unsur yang mengalami ketertinggalan diantaranya yaitu kompetensi atau pengetahuan guru terhadap teknologi yang masih rendah, belum adanya kemandirian dari siswa dalam proses pembelajaran daring, dan pola mengajar yang masih mengikuti kebiasaan pada saat mengajar secara konvensional. Bentuk dari ketertinggalan tersebut menyebabkan kesenjangan antara program pembelajaran daring yang dilaksanakan dengan kondisi pola pikir dan tingkah laku dari guru dan siswa.

Abstract

The focus of this research is the Implementation of the Ki Hajar Dewantara Education Concept at SMP Negeri 1 Bitung. This research uses descriptive research methods with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in qualitative research are observation, interviews, and documentation. The conclusion of the study is, first: in the Application of the Ki Hajar Dewantara Education Concept at SMP Negeri 1 Bitung. The implementation itself has begun to be implemented and the application includes three environments, namely, the family environment, the school environment, and the community environment. Second: what are the supporting factors and inhibiting factors in the Ki Hajar Dewantara Education Concept, namely the support of teachers in building enthusiasm and intentions for students, then there is support from parents and the environment in developing their talents and potential. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors themselves lack the creativity of subject teachers when studying online, inadequate study hours, and lack of intense communication between teachers and students. And then the third: efforts in improving the Ki Hajar Dewantara Education Concept at SMP Negeri 1 Bitung, namely, subject teachers make creative and innovative activity plans by considering all aspects as well as possible. Then the teacher reflects and evaluates at the end of the class hour to achieve the learning objectives.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of social media on the character of students at SMA Don Bosco Lembean Catholic High School. Primary data was obtained through a questionnaire distributed to 128 students. There are 3 hypotheses. Two hypotheses are descriptive hypotheses and 1 hypothesis is tested by simple linear regression analysis. The results of the study concluded that the 3 hypotheses proved to be strong and significant. This finding indicates that social media greatly influences the character of Don Bosco Lembean Catholic High School students. Social media plays a very important role in the formation of student character. Positive or negative influences are largely determined by the assistance of teachers and parents at home. This finding is also an input for foundations and teachers to really pay attention to the use of social media from students both at school and outside of school.

Abstract

Technological progress (Gadgets) aims to make all human activities easier, but this must also be accompanied by a wise attitude of humans as users of this technology. Gadgets function to facilitate virtual interaction and communication, but if used unwisely they have the potential to be bad for communication and interaction between users. This article carries the title "The Effect of Using Gadgets on Families in St. Mary's Parish. Anthony Padua Taratara”. The background to this article stems from several problems, namely how gadgets are used in families at St. Antonius Padua Taratara, how is family life in St. Patrick's Parish? Antonius Padua Taratara, and knowing the influence of gadget use on families in St. Anthony Padua Taratara. The research method used is a quantitative approach. The research sample consisted of 619 families taken randomly from 823 families in St. Mary's Parish. Anthony Padua Taratara. The research instrument used was a questionnaire with alternative answers: Strongly Agree (4), Agree (3), Disagree (2), and Disagree (1). The research results obtained show that there is an influence of gadget use on the family. This is proven by the results obtained by Fcount of 65,054 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.005, and a correlation value of 0.308 and a coefficient of determination of 9.5%. So it can be concluded that there is a very low and significant influence on the use of gadgets on the family.

Abstract

The problem in this study is about the low intensity of student in the WhatsApp group. This affects the need for student affiliation. Many students who rarely open messages in the WhatsApp group. The purpose of this study was to determine the intensity of WhatsApp usage among students at STP Don Bosco Tomohon and to determine the effect of the group. This study used a quantitative method, with 100 students as a population and sample of 80 students. In the calculation, the researcher uses the slovin formula. The instrument used is a questionnaire. Respondents only put a checkmark on the answer they considered correct. Then the researcher will manage the collected data using the IBM SPSS 25 for windows application. Hypothesis Testing 1, the use of the WhatsApp communication medium at STP Don Bosco Tomohon is very good. Hypothesis 2, the need for student affiliation at STP Don Bosco Tomohon is high. The use of the WhatsApp communication medium has quite a 35% influence on the affiliation needs of STP Don Bosco Tomohon students, although the effect is less strong (low) and 65% is influenced by other factors. The intensity of the use of communication media Whatsapp at STP Don Bosco Tomohon is very good, with an R Count coefficient of 0.82, and an R Count coefficient on Student Affiliation Needs in the good category, with a value of 0.73. From the results of this study, based on the results of the correlation analysis that the WhatsApp communication media has a less strong and significant effect on the affiliate needs of STP Don Bosco Tomohon students.

Abstract

As a leader, the school principal faces significant challenges in developing school quality standards. The principal must plan appropriate programs and strategies to improve the quality of the school, achieve academic excellence, and produce graduates ready to compete globally. The aim of this research is to describe (1) the strategies implemented by the school principal in enhancing school quality, (2) the impact of the implementation of these programs and strategies, and (3) the supporting and hindering factors in their implementation. This research adopts a field study approach with a qualitative and descriptive methodology, employing interview techniques, observations, and document analysis. The primary informants for this research are school principals and teaching staff. The research findings indicate that the programs implemented by the school principal to enhance school quality include curriculum development, improvement of teacher quality, focus on student needs, and enhancement of school facilities. The strategies implemented by the school principal have proven successful and have a positive impact on raising school standards. The implementation of these programs and strategies is tailored to the specific needs of the school. The positive impact of the programs and the leadership of the school principal is reflected in the achieved excellence, both academically and extracurricularly. Factors supporting the school's success have been effectively managed by the school principal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh inovasi pembelajaran dan kurikulum merdeka terhadap karakter kemandirian belajar peserta didik di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) dan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Katolik di Kota Manado. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi untuk mengukur hubungan antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang baik dan signifikan inovasi pembelajaran guru terhadap karakter kemandirian belajar peserta didik dengan Uji T sebesar 16.029 > 0,159  nilai t Tabel dan dengan signifikansi 0,000 ˂ 0,05 sedangkan koefisien determinasi diperoleh R 0,664 dan R2 sebesar 0,718, terdapat pengaruh yang baik dan signifikan kurikulum merdeka terhadap karakter kemandirian belajar peserta didik dengan Uji T sebesar 15.029 > 0,159  nilai t Tabel dan dengan signifikansi 0,000 ˂ 0,05 sedangkan koefisien determinasi R sebesar 0,694 dan R2 sebesar 0,758, terdapat pengaruh yang baik dan signifikan inovasi pembelajaran dan kurikulum merdeka terhadap karakter kemandirian belajar SMA dan SMK Katolik di Kota Manado dengan Uji F sebesar 131.181 > 0,199 dan nilai F tabel dengan signifikansi 0,000 ˂ 0,05 dengan koefisien R sebesar 0,795, R2 sebesar 0,632 dan adjusted R2 sebesar 0,627.

Abstract

This study aims to explore teachers' experiences in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at SMA Ignatius Manado, as well as to identify the challenges, strategies, and support needed for its successful implementation. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews and participatory observations. Thematic analysis was employed to identify patterns and key themes in the teachers' experiences. The findings indicate that the main challenge faced by teachers is their readiness to adapt to more flexible, student-centered teaching methods, as well as limitations in resources and supporting facilities. To overcome these challenges, teachers at SMA Ignatius Manado have developed collaborative strategies, participated in training, and engaged students more actively in the learning process. The support needed to improve the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum includes continuous training, provision of adequate facilities, and social support from various stakeholders. This research provides valuable insights into the dynamics of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum and offers recommendations to support its success in senior high schools.
