Abstract

school teachers on the implementation of ICT-based learning models. In accordance with the Ministerial Regulation number 37 of 2018. The target of this activity is for primary school teachers to create TIK-based learning tools that are easy and simple to use to improve the knowledge and skills of the training participants, which will have a positive impact on improving student skills and learning outcomes. In addition, through this activity, the creation of TIK-based learning tools by participating teachers is targeted by applying TIK-based learning models in learning for each subject in primary school. The method is by conducting training on the implementation of ICT-based learning models for primary school teachers in the coastal areas of Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province, such as the use of learning videos using Canva, and also related to gamification for learning. This activity begins with the provision of basic material related to learning media, followed by practice in creating Canva-based learning videos, and ends with practice in creating gamification-based learning media using the Wordwall application. This community service activity ends with the signing of an Implementation Agreement between the Electrical Engineering study program and SDN 3 Kabila Bone, Bone Bolango Regency

Abstract

Pengabdian pada Masyarakat ini adalah suatu upaya yang dilakukan agar supaya terlaksananya Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi untuk memberikan sumbangsih ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi kepada masyarakat. Berdasarkan hal ini, kami mengajukan kegiatan Pengabdian di Desa Pinomontiga kec Bulawa Kab Bone Bolango dengan Tujuan Pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan Pengelolaan Potensi Desa melalui Pemerdayaan  BUMDES, Target luaran yang diharapkan dari kegiatan ini adalah para pengelola BUMDES dan Aparat desa serta Masyarakat Desa Pinomontiga dan pengelola wisata yang ada di  desa  pinomontiga. Hal ini di lakukan untuk membrikan pembekalan tentang analisis bisnis dan kelayakan usaha agar BUMDES lebih mandiri dan berdaya saing. Studi kelayakan usaha dapat dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap yaitu tahap penemuan ide atau perumusan gagasan, tahap memformulasikan tujuan dan terakhir tahap analisis. Community servise is an effort made to ensure that the Tridarma of Higher Education is implemented to contribute science and technolgy to society. Based on this, we are proposing a service activity in Pinimontiga vilage, Bulawa District, Bone Bolango Regency with the aim of this service being to provide village potential management through BUMDES empowerment. The expected output targets from this activity are  Bumdes managers and village officials as wel as the pinomontiga village community and managers, tourism in pinomontiga village. This is done to provide provision regarding business analysis and business feasibility so that BUMDES is more independent and competitive. A business feasibilty study can be carried out in several stages, namely the idea discovery or idea formulation stage, the objective formulation stage and finally the analysis stage.

Abstract

The Anggrek coal-steam power plant (PLTU) in gorontalo is anpower generation facility that utilizes coal as its primary energy source. In recent years, the energy industry has undergone significant changes, driven by the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase the utilization of renewable energy souces. Dried white leadtree wood, exposed to sunlight for 18 hours, has a moisture content of 40% and a high calorific value of 4,197 kcal/kg, making it suitable for blending with coal. This power plant applies co-firing, which involves blending 1-5% white leadtree woodwith 1,000 tons of coal daily. This study aims to analyze the electricity generated. Additionally, this study evaluates the needs and procurement of both coal and white leadtree, alongside the sales of electricity in kWh. The methodology involvescollecting monthly data on fuel consumption and cost estimates per kWh generated. The results indicatevthat coal accounts for 95% of the total fuel consumption, while white leadtree contributes only 5%. The estimated cost of purchasing coal for co-firing with white leadstree is IDR 520 per kg, whereas the selling price of electricity is IDR 2.500 per kWh.

Abstract

Banggai Regency is one of the areas in Central Sulawesi experiencing rapid economic growth. This condition has led to an increased demand for electricity in the region. Therefore, accurate predictions of electricity demand are needed for proper planning in providing electricity in the future. This research aims to predict the electricity demand in Banggai Regency for the next three years (2024-2026). The research employs the Simple Linear Regression method using historical data on electricity consumption in Banggai Regency. The prediction results indicate that the electricity demand in Banggai Regency will continue to increase. The increase in customers is noted with a percentage increase in social (13,956%), households (12,222%), businesses (8,289%), industries (40,752%), and government (8,014%). The increase in connected power is recorded with a percentage increase in social (30,502%), households (18,315%), businesses (16,037%), industries (40,373%), and government (6,704%). This information is crucial for stakeholders to plan adequate and sustainable electricity infrastructure and policies in Banggai Regency in the future.Kabupaten Banggai merupakan salah satu daerah di Sulawesi Tengah yang mengalami pertumbuhan ekonomi yang cukup pesat. Hal ini menyebabkan peningkatan kebutuhan energi listrik di daerah tersebut. Untuk itu, diperlukan prediksi kebutuhan energi listrik yang akurat agar dapat dilakukan perencanaan yang tepat dalam penyediaan energi listrik di masa depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memprediksi kebutuhan energi listrik di Kabupaten Banggai dalam kurun waktu tiga tahun ke depan (2024-2026). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode regresi linier sederhana dengan menggunakan data historis konsumsi energi listrik di Kabupaten Banggai. Hasil prediksi menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan energi listrik di Kabupaten Banggai akan terus meningkat di masa depan Kenaikan pelanggan didapatkan kenaikan dengan persentase sebesar: sosial (13,956%); rumah tangga (12,222%); bisnis (8,289%); industri (40,752%); dan pemerintah (8,014%). Peningkatan daya tersambung tercatat dengan peningkatan persentase sebesar: sosial (30,502%); rumah tangga (18,315%); bisnis (16,037%); industri (40,373%); dan pemerintah (6,704%). Informasi ini penting bagi pemangku kepentingan terkait untuk merencanakan infrastruktur dan kebijakan kelistrikan yang memadai dan berkelanjutan di Kabupaten Banggai di masa depan.

Abstract

The State Electricity Company (PT.PLN Persero) is a company authorized by the government to handle electricity in Indonesia. Distribution lines are an important component in the distribution of electrical power, therefore power losses in distribution lines must be small so that the received electrical power must be close to the transmitted electrical power. This study discusses electrical power losses and load imbalances in the 20 KV medium voltage primary distribution line at the Gorontalo Baru Substation (GOBAR) feeder. The method used in this study is through data collection of load current measurements for each phase, neutral current (N), and neutral conductor resistance (RN) from seven feeders with a total of 297 distribution transformers. The data is processed using the load imbalance equation and active power loss calculations. The analysis is carried out by comparing the imbalance value to the PLN standard (SK ED PLN No. 0017.E/DIR/2014). The results of the study show that the number of transformers in the GOBAR GI feeder that have an imbalance value exceeding the standard limit or in the bad category is 71 transformers and the amount of power losses experienced by the GOBAR GI is 1423.01 kW outside peak load times and for peak load times of 3051.115 kW. Judging from these losses, so that inter-phase load balancing is an important step in increasing the efficiency and reliability of the electric power distribution system.

Abstract

Post-harvest drying remains a critical point in the agricultural commodity value chain as it determines the rate of moisture loss, physical-chemical quality, microbiological stability, energy consumption, and environmental emissions. In the last decade, the direction of technology development has shifted from passive solar dryers to hybrid drying systems that combine greenhouses, solar collectors, thermal energy storage, auxiliary heat sources, and Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring and control. This review article reorganizes and updates the literature on IoT-based hybrid drying systems, focusing on five key dimensions: system architecture, heat storage media, intelligent monitoring and control, drying performance and kinetics, and economic and environmental implications. The synthesis shows that hybrid configurations consistently increase drying chamber temperature, improve heat distribution uniformity, shorten drying time, and maintain product quality compared to open drying or non-hybrid systems. The integration of sensible, latent, or a combination of both has been shown to extend the drying period during periods of decreased solar radiation and stabilize the thermal conditions of the process. At the same time, IoT enables real-time monitoring of temperature, relative humidity, airflow velocity, and equipment safety status, opening the door to more adaptive predictive control. From a sustainability perspective, recent literature shows that hybrid systems can reduce conventional energy consumption, improve exergy indicators, and deliver economic benefits through operational cost savings and potential reductions in carbon emissions. This review emphasizes that future research agendas must move beyond simply increasing drying temperatures to multi-objective optimization that integrates product quality, energy efficiency, control reliability, and environmental impact.

Abstract

The performance of a solar power plant (SPP) is significantly influenced by the condition of the solar modules, which are the primary components in the energy conversion process. Damage to the modules can lead to a decrease in efficiency and disrupt the stability of the power generation system. This study aims to identify the types and characteristics of solar module damage, analyze the dominant contributing factors, and evaluate their impact on the performance of the 2 MWp Sumalata SPP system in North Gorontalo. The method used is quantitative descriptive analysis with a direct field inspection approach, supported by operational data in the form of the number of damaged modules and inverter power output. The research findings indicate that PV module damage is primarily caused by burnt modules and a combination of cracked and burnt modules, as well as the occurrence of hotspots due to environmental and technical factors. Based on the inspection summary for the January–December 2025 period, a total of 507 damaged modules were recorded, comprising 238 modules on Transformer 1 and 269 modules on Transformer 2; indications of performance degradation were also found in the form of low open-circuit voltage (Voc) values in some modules. The impact of the damage is evident in the reduction of inverter output power and the potential decrease in daily energy production. On December 2, 2025, with an irradiance of 6.80 kWh/m², inverter number 41, with 22 damaged modules, produced 17.942 kW of power, which was lower than inverters 35–40, which were in the range of 18.4–20.74 kW. These results indicate that solar panel damage directly impacts the overall performance of the PV system, particularly in terms of generation efficiency and power output stability.
