Abstract

This article is an attempt to examine and restructurize Ikhwan al-Shafa’s cosmological views. People’s perception of nature developing in the 10th century was that the nature was viewed in a more holistic approach. Nature is perceived as spiritualmetaphysic and material entity. This kind of approach is relevant to the current context after for centuries modern science, especially modern cosmological concept, has neglected spiritual-metaphysical dimension of the nature, and has only recognized the physical-material dimension of the nature. Therefore, over centuries teh meaning of nature has been reduced and this has led to inappropriate treatment toward nature. The author argues that the current perception of nature which neglects spiritual dimension has led to global environment crisis. Therefore, the holistic Ikhwan al-Shafa’s cosmological perspective is worth and relevant to current needs of humankind. Kata Kunci: Ikhwan al-Shafa’, cosmology, spiritual structure, material structure, universal active intellect.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the root cause of ecological crisis happening atthe moment in terms of the cosmological-metaphysical views, by doing researchon the thoughts of a classical Muslim philosophical scientist group in 10th centuryAD called Ikhwan al-Safa’. To the author, Ikhwan al-Safa’ has a clear idea inviewing the universe holistically and intact as it is. Actually, this non-reductiveview was the typical main feature of medieval Islamic classical thought. However,the main reason of choosing the works of Ikhwan al-Safa’, especially their magnumopus Rasa’il Ikhwan al-S{afa’ , in the research is that Ikhwan al-Safa’ has puta lot of attention on the “wisdom of universe” in the ontological and epistemologicalstructure of knowledge that were developed in their work. With the mainconcepts such Love of Universe and Soul of Universe, Ikhwan al-Safa’ have givena holistic vision about the wisdom of the universe and the wisdom of the environmentitself.Pengkajian dalam artikel ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan akar masalah terjadinyakrisis ekologi yang terjadi saat ini dengan berangkat dari titik pijak berdasarkanperspektif kosmologis-metafisik. Yakni dengan melakukan penelitian terhadappemikiran kosmologi kelompok keilmuan-filosofis muslim klasik abad ke-10 Myang bernama Ikhwan al-Safa’. Bagi penulis, Ikhwan al-Safa’ memiliki pemikiranyang jernih dalam melihat alam semesta. Yakni melihat alam secara holistik dan utuh sebagaimana adanya. Sebenarnya pandangan khas yang non-reduktif inimenjadi ciri utama pemikiran klasik Islam abad pertengahan. Namun pemilihanpenelitian terhadap pemikiran Ikhwan al-Safa’ –terutama dalam karya magnumopusnyaRasa’il Ikhwan al-S{afa’ ini, lebih disebabkan karena kelompok ini bagipenulis, telah menaruh perhatian yang sangat kuat terhadap “kearifan alam”dalam struktur ontologis dan epistemologis keilmuan yang dikembangkan dalamkarya mereka. Dengan menguraikan beberapa konsep utama dalam kosmologiIkhwan al-Safa’, seperti alam sebagai sebuah kesatuan, jiwa semesta, dan cintasemesta, kita akan melihat bagaimana Ikhwan al-Safa’ memberikan sebuah visiholistik mengenai kearifan alam semesta dan kearifan lingkungan itu sendiri.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of the Islamic education reform implemented at the Bin Baz Islamic Centre. The main focus of the research is to identify the development of students in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. In order to achieve these objectives, the research proposes the need for reform in the curriculum and teaching methods applied at the institution. A qualitative approach with a descriptive method is chosen as the methodological framework to provide an in-depth understanding of the influence of educational reform. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model. Data collection is carried out through observations, interviews, and document analysis. The qualitative approach, with a focus on the role of informants as data sources, allows the research to investigate complex aspects within the context of Islamic education reform. The results of this research emphasize the urgency of education in shaping a holistic understanding, not only within the family environment but also involving the significant role of schools and colleges. In terms of the curriculum, it has been implemented effectively, accompanied by careful teaching strategies to achieve optimal teaching effectiveness. However, the research also identifies some challenges, particularly in the context of learning the Indonesian language, where some students are not fully engaged, exhibiting behaviors of sleeping or playing alone. Therefore, the author compiles this scholarly work to be viewed as an effort to enhance student engagement and, consequently, the quality of education at the institution.

Abstract

This research aims to explore in-depth the process of Islamic character formation among students at Hidayatullah Islamic Senior High School in Depok through scout extracurricular activities. It seeks to investigate the extent to which scouting activities influence a student's character, as well as identify the supporting and inhibiting factors affecting the effectiveness of these scouting activities in achieving the goal of shaping the character of Hidayatullah Islamic Senior High School students in Depok. Therefore, this research aims to contribute to a deeper understanding of the role of extracurricular activities in the process of Islamic character formation among students at Hidayatullah Islamic Senior High School in Depok. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, collecting data through observations, interviews, and analysis of documents related to scout extracurricular activities at Hidayatullah Islamic Senior High School in Depok. The results of this research indicate that scout extracurricular activities play a significant role in shaping the Islamic character of students, especially in aspects such as discipline, courage, self-confidence, honesty, responsibility, social spirit, leadership, and knowledge enhancement, particularly in religious knowledge. This research is expected to contribute to a better understanding of the Islamic character formation of Hidayatullah Islamic Senior High School students in Depok through scout extracurricular activities

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore mental health therapy through aspects of religious life. This research is included in the type of descriptive qualitative research. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and document analysis. The research subjects involved the school principal, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teacher, Guidance Counseling (BK) teacher, and two students. The data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation and verification. Based on research, it is known that religious life can be a mental health therapy for students at SMK N 38 Jakarta. Religious activities carried out at the school include dhuha prayers, dhuhur prayers in congregation and reading yasin. From the results of interviews with students, the author found that participating in religious activities carried out by the school provided comfort to the souls of students at SMK N 38 Jakarta.

Abstract

Salah satu problematika dalam dunia pendidikan kita adalah, munculnya film-film yang tidak mengedukasi bagi anak-anak, hal itu merupakan konsekuensi dari perkembangan teknologi di masa sekarang ini. Tujuan dari Penelitian ini adalah, untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai pendidikan akhlak yang terdapat dalam film animasi Nussa dan Rara serta relevansinya terhadap nilai-nilai pendidikan anak. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan melakukan analisis is dan studi kepustakaan. Penelitian ini fokus pada Channel Youtube Little Giantz film Animasi Nussa dan Rara dari season dua dan tiga. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat nilai-nilai pendidikan Akhlak dalam film animasi Nussa dan Rara dan memiliki relevansi dengan nilai-nilai Pendidikan Anak. Nilai akhlak religius tersebut mengajarkan sikap jujur, toleransi, dan peduli sosial relevan dengan nilai-nilai ajaran islam. Sehingga dalam film animasi Nussa dan Rara menjadikan tontonan yang beredukatif khususnya untuk kalangan anak-anak

Abstract

The education sector is recognised as an important and vital medium in preventing the infiltration of radicalism-extremism among the young generation. It is through education that young people can improve their cognitive-affective capacity through the cultivation of positive values, such as discipline, tolerance and critical thinking. Awareness efforts about the dangers of intolerance, radicalism, extremism and even acts of terrorism can be instilled through the education process, so that these negative things can be prevented as early as possible. This research aims to examine the role of education, especially school communities, in preventing radicalism-extremism among young students. This research will focus on the role that has been carried out in several school communities through the preparation of the School Operational Curriculum (KOSP) in efforts to prevent radicalism-extremism in school communities. This research uses a qualitative approach, by conducting a document studies related to the School Operational Curriculum prepared by SMA Negeri 5 Yogyakarta.

Abstract

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis materi pendidikan akhlak dalam kitab Minhajul Muslim yang merupakan hasil pemikiran dari Syaikh Abu Bakar Jabir Al-Jazairi, untuk diteliti relevansinya dengan materi PAI tingkat SMA/Sederajat kurikulum merdeka, sehingga dapat diadopsi dan diterapkan serta diambil manfaatnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui library research atau penelitian literatur dengan teknik komparatif. Sumber data terdiri dari sumber data primer (pokok) dan sekunder (penunjang). Sifat penelitian berupa deskriptif kualitatif yakni sebuah metode untuk menggambarkan kondisi apa adanya tanpa memberi manipulasi pada variabel yang diteliti, data yang didapatkan kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis isi (content analysis). Berdasakan hasil penelitian yang didapatkan, diketahui bahwa materi akhlak yang terdapat dalam kitab Minhajul Muslim cukup relevan dengan materi akhlak pada mata pelajaran PAI tingkat SMA/Sederajat kurikulum merdeka, oleh karena itu kitab Minhajul Muslim ini dapat diadopsi oleh para pendidik untuk menjadi rujukan dalam menjelaskan materi secara lebih luas khususnya materi akhlak, dan bagi peserta didik dapat juga menjadikannya sebagai bacaan tambahan untuk meningkatkan wawasan keilmuannya Kata kunci : Materi Akhlak, Minhajul Muslim, Al-Jazairi, Kurikulum Merdeka
