Abstract

Background: Students can be taught eco-friendly consuming habits through classroom learning activities with the help of teachers and other school-related activities. The study's focus is a case study completed at a vocational high school. We seek to understand the broad-reaching consequences that this teaching strategy might evoke by examining the potential implications of integrating environmentally responsible consumption practices within an educational framework. Through a thorough case study, we aim to shed light on how incorporating environmentally responsible consuming practices into schooling could support more general educational goals and encourage sustainable habits. Internalizing this through character education entails setting models and developing routine behaviors based on school policies and extracurricular activities in addition to integrated environmental education. This supports the long-term integration of these ideals into students' personalities. Method: This research uses a survey methodology and is explanatory. The SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) was used to analyze the data. 95 respondents make up the sample size for the sampling method, which uses proportionate random sampling. Result: According to the research's findings, integrating character education and general education are impacted by internalizing environmentally responsible consumption habits.

Abstract

In this study, structural equation modeling (SEM) is used to conduct a quantitative analysis aimed at determining the factors that influence the sustainability of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. The four main themes of the study are market orientation, regulatory compliance, human resource development, and credit availability. Following a survey of 200 MSMEs, the collected data underwent thorough statistical analysis. The findings show a strong positive correlation between regulatory compliance and MSME sustainability, human resource development, and loan availability. Although it had a beneficial effect, market orientation fell short of statistical significance in this investigation. The study adds to our knowledge of the intricate processes affecting MSMEs' sustainability in the Indonesian environment and provides insightful information to scholars, policymakers, and entrepreneurs.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of digital transformation, marketing strategies, and business size on competitive advantage and performance in Indonesian SMEs. With a sample of 100 SMEs, the research reveals that digital transformation alone does not directly impact competitive advantage or performance. However, when mediated by financial literacy, digital transformation becomes a significant factor affecting both competitive advantage and company performance. Marketing strategies directly influence competitive advantage but not firm performance. Business size has a direct impact on both competitive advantage and performance. Financial literacy plays a crucial moderating role in shaping the relationships between digital transformation, competitive advantage, and firm performance. The findings suggest potential avenues for future research, emphasizing the need for broader sample sizes and additional variables to enhance the understanding of these dynamics in similar contexts.

Abstract

Effective financial management is essential to the sustainability of farming businesses, especially amid economic changes and challenges faced by farmer groups such as Among Tani in Bumiaji, Batu City. Despite the growing awareness of the importance of financial management, many farmers still have difficulty applying the correct financial principles, especially in separating personal finance and farming. This creates a significant knowledge gap in applying practical and efficient financial management among farmers. Financial management training is carried out using a practical approach to answer this need, where the material is delivered through a combination of theory and practical sessions directly in the field. The main results of this training show that there is an increase in farmers' knowledge and skills in recording financial transactions, budgeting, and financial risk management. The participant's response was also very positive, with high enthusiasm for applying the techniques learned, and planned to form a small group focusing on joint financial management. Some participants even expressed their intention to immediately implement more transparent and efficient recording techniques in their farming businesses. The implications of this activity show that this kind of training is not only able to improve the technical skills of farmers but also change their mindset about the importance of sustainable financial management, which is ultimately expected to strengthen the financial independence of the farmer group as a whole.
